There is no playground here. It's a place to learn about and reflect on war and those who fought in wars. It's not really a place to play. There are a couple of picnic tables. There's a museum on site (free admission), as well as a memorial wall and informative plaques. There's a hiking trail that starts on the far side of the park (near the Statue of Liberty replica). The trail goes behind the Veterans Park.

This is a wonderful memorial for all our past and present veterans. The stories all the collections tell of the service members and their families are unforgettable and most can't be replicated. The time, effort, and donations given are amazing. Thank you for all you do.

What a great display. They have every uniform from every war and every branch of the military. A very clean place. There was a wonderful woman there taking care of everything. Also an amazing outdoor display honoring our veterans.

I love this place because I have been going there since 19 79 and I know the whole staff and they're always good to me! And I know where everything is and I used to work there in the 80s it's your neighborhood friendly grocery store

Great experience if you have a little time. The historical plaques describe each war the United States has fought in. The wall of remembrance is beautiful.

I worked at the VA so this memorial is very important to me. I met the men and women who are honored here. The museum informed me about so many people I will never meet but will remember forever

Really cool little memorial in TorC. The guide there had a great story about his uncle that was one of the most decorated privates in WWII

This is one of the best Veterans Memorial's in the country. From the air, it looks like its layed out like the Medal of Honor. Beautiful miniature Vietnam memorial wall. Inside has a large, well preserved and documented collection of memorabilia from various era's.
