The clerk was very friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and quiet. There were problems though: the front door would stick, and took a huge effort to get it open, but the worst by far was the number of goat heads all around the property, including on walkways right in front of the rooms. They got in my clothes, and in my pajamas so I had to keep plucking them out in order to get a good night's sleep, and they got into my dog's paws. It's a real issue here even if you don't have pets. I will now refer to this place as the Goat's Head Inn.

Very old and run down and like 140 a night. Yikes. Best option in this town is one next door. BE AWARE THEY SELL SMOKING ROOMS!

After a long trip throughout NM with my dogs, T or C was my last stop before heading home. I had the choice of a three-story mega hotel or a trip through the past. I chose this because I had my own door and wouldn’t disturb others with my dogs. This place is amazingly clean, quiet, and updated. It’s family owned and I met three of them. Friendly people and a great location. I will be back. This experience was so great, I now look for this chain wherever I go.

So far, so good! Room is clean and neat, ac works well. All rooms are first floor so no stairs. Plenty of parking. Room has a small TV but we're only here for one night. Place is easy to find. Knocked off 2 stars because the "breakfast" listed on the website consisted of...nothing? My kids brought back a cereal bar but 2 of the 3 were expired. There was this loud knocking noise in the wall all night but the beds were comfy and the ac kept the room nice and chilly.

Five stars for hospitality👍 Rooms are clean, well maintained and sanitized. Price for room is economical. All the hot springs are close by from this place. They have nice coffee and Indian Tea ☕️, multiple options of snacks and fruits In breakfast. Owners are nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay, total value for money.

This motel is a great value, and a great find! The owners have remodeled with LG air conditioners, new flooring, and new mattresses. The rooms are clean, and the owners are very responsive. We stayed 8 days, June 1--8, and ate at many nice restaurants. We did "soaks" three different afternoons at three different spas and loved the experience. We visited the golf course and restaurant. It is finishing a major upgrade. Truly first class! Elephant Butte Lake is slowly, but surely, filling up with water. TC is a great place to take a relaxing vacation. Johnnie B's, a great American food restaurant, with reasonable prices, is next door, and a super Walmart is just up the hill.

Just got into the room, I can hear the neighbor in room next to me. Their TV is not loud, but I can hear everything through these walls. The other neighbour is taking a shower, I can hear that as well. Toilet seat is loose. NOTICE anything wrong in the shower? That's right, someone just put a cover plate over what used to be a light switch. . . WHAT THAT'S SHOCKING!!!!

Very comfy beds. Room is nice and clean. Front desk folks are very helpful and friendly. Bathroom sink didn’t drain well but other than that, everything was great!

Casual, well appointed yet priced to keep money in your pocketbook. This cozy motel offers many of the services you’d come to expect from the big name hotels. Yes, it has laundry machines for guest use as well. Price per night was appropriate per the services and amenities. Would return- friendly staff.

I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed two nights, personnel at front desk were very nice and friendly. We asked about going to one of the hot springs in the area and the young man suggested Riverbend Hot Springs. He also suggested just the one hour soak and we followed his advice. The rooms are nice and clean very good layout of the room. Breakfast was limited cereal, coffee, sweets, yogurt, muffins, bananas but it was quaint. Enough for us. It is quiet beds were comfy as were pillows, towels and bathing essentials were provided. Very friendly they greet you with a smile. Will stay there again.

I loved staying here, as for location, its as central as you can get. The staff was accommodating and our room was perfect. Great value for the price!

Clean rooms, easy check-in, and great service. We accidentally booked a smoking room, and they were really friendly and accommodating when helping us get into a non-smoking room. Friendly faces in the morning made our day out to a good start.

Nice motel good location. Room and beds good check in easy. Parking right outside room. Clean and had everything needed. Location spot on near restaurants and walmart amd cash station. Only issue was number 103 room the heater unit was noisy apart from that great one night stay

Very clean vintage motel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great parking and the bikes were well lit all night. Walmart is easily within walking distance.

DEC 2023 We are back and I have to say we are very happy. The rooms are clean. The people who own and run this hotel just seem to really provide good service. They make feel valued. The hotel was prettty full with people who arenworking on the roads. But they still were not short for anything. Breakfast is called grab and go. There was caffinated coffee, bananas, rice crispy treats, yogurt, 3 cereal and 2 microwavable egg options. The coffee is good. Also tea and hot chocolate. I didn't try the orange juice to know of it is good but they do have that too. If the could get a small table or 2 and some stools it would be nice. But we are very happy as is. Plan to return. Dec 2022 The room was clean. Our first room had a broken door that wouldn't lock. Fortunately they had another room for us. For the price it is a good value. While the advertised breakfast was included there was not a place to eat breakfast. They had a few item, you could get a banana and coffee and take it to your room. Or you could eat at the Cafe next door. We enjoyed that. The people were nice. We ate going to stay there again.

I recommend this Travelodge by Wyndham. Although the facility is somewhat dated, the rooms are nicely renovated and very clean; the staff is very friendly. Traveling with a medium size pet, the rooms have outside doors adjacent to the pet area. (The hotel needs to empty the pet waste station.) Although the hotel overcharged my credit card ten dollars for my pet upon check in, the hotel refunded the ten dollars in cash on my checkout. Still, I will again patronize this motel upon my next stop in Truth or Consequences.

Nice, clean, spacious room, non-smoking with two queen beds. Good desk area for computering. Refrigerator and microwave work well. Plenty of parking, and quiet, particularly on the back side. All rooms are at ground level. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay here again.

The location was great, near the highway, eating places and of course Walmart!! The rooms were clean spacious, and the owners are friendly. The price is right too ..

Way better than expected compared to other Travelodge and similar hotels I've stated at. Will stay here again if I am in the area.

My friend stayed here one night. I visited him here, so I got a good look at the room. It was very clean and the paint looked fresh. The carpet looked very outdated. My friend paid over $100 for the room. That seemed like a lot, but maybe that was because he got the last available room in the place. He stayed on a Friday night, and the parking lot was full. His room did have two beds, and he did have his tiny dog with him, so maybe he had to pay a pet fee. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. There was a sink outside the bathroom and one inside the bathroom too. This motel is just off I-25. It's not in the tourist area of Truth or Consequences, but since it's a small town, nothing in town is really far away.

Very affordable hotel!!! Owners were friendly, and communicated well. The rooms were clean. Perfect for our stay! The coffee in the A.M. was yummy.

This place is really quiet and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious with a soothing shower and has beautiful decor. There are however quite a bit of flies here for some reason more than I'd expect for one room. Other than the fly issue I am pleased with this location.

First the good- the staff was great. Professional and informative but very personable. She was working alone and pulling long days but had a great attitude. Beside that, the shower was great, hot with very good pressure. Those were the highlights. On the negative side there were many items. Do not go to this motel if you have any mobility issues. It is a split level with 8 or so steps either down to the first floor or up to the second. This was a real issue for my 84 year old mother in law. The toilet was the lowest profile I've seen, again it was hard for her to get up from. The motel is very dated and need a cosmetic update along with the lack of creature comforts. The bowed shower curtain made the shower seem roomy but only allowed the bathroom door to open about 3/4 of the way. Perhaps the most annoying though was the heater/ ac unit. There was no off setting for the fan, and the speed control had no affect. Even on the auto setting the fan ran all night. The only option to stop the noisy fan from running was to unplug the unit. Other than the staff, we found no real redeeming value for the motel when there are so many other options nearby.
