This "resort" is nothing more than a jumped up motel in the middle of nowhere. We checked in on a Sunday and the staff failed to inform us that the "resort" restaurant was closed and that there was virtually nowhere to get dinner. The hotel and town were basically abandoned, with only three staff members running the entire hotel. The grounds of the hotel consist of a gravel courtyard and the "spa" is just a couple of old hot tubs. Save your money and go elsewhere, it looks pretty online but fails to deliver.

We did a 30 minute private outdoor soak and loved every minute. The staff was super friendly, calm, and inviting. She gave us thoughtful local recommendations, allowed us to shower in a massage room after our soak, and treated us to coffee, hot chocolate and water. Family of four for only $39!

We recently visited the lodge and had a fantastic experience. The employees are calm and accommodating. We were a large group and they accommodated our spa schedule changes without a hiccup. The mineral soak is amazing, Breakfast is lovely and service is excellent. The lodge is the best thing in T&C and definitely worth a visit.

This is the perfect quiet couples get away. The room was very clean with a huge bed and large tub. We used the soaking room downstairs at night for the ultimate romantic quality time

I loved this place. We were tired after a long day of driving and it was like sinking into a hot bath on a cold day. Actually, that's exactly what it was because we had a soaking tub in the room. Very relaxing. Kind staff. And the town is a fantastic place to stopover.

We were driving through and decided to take a chance to see if they had any rooms available. Lucky for us they did. We've been coming here for over 15 years and it's the only place we enjoy for taking in the healing waters. The breakfast is always good and a soak before we hit the road again is what we needed. The staff is excellent.

Beautiful, well appointed rooms. We were on the second floor and there's no elevator, so if you need assistance with stairs, please be aware. There are also rooms on the first floor, but these include your own private mineral spring water soaking, so these go pretty fast. Great service. The "Continental" breakfast included a make-your-own breakfast burrito: tortillas, scrambled eggs, bacon, green chili and cheese, in addition to assorted muffins, granola and yogurt, fruit, and a selection of juices. Restful, simple, & classy soaking areas inside and out. It was a wonderful weekend and I'll definitely be returning.

We stayed in the private Casita in September 2022. The whole experience of the Sierra Grande from check in to departure was amazing! Wonderful staff and a pristine venue. The Casita was fantastic - super comfortable, totally private, and a true oasis in the desert. I highly recommend a stay at the Sierra Grande! A magical experience...

Clean room and facilities. Liked that coffee, hot tea, and water were available by the Lobby at all times. The Desk Clerk offered the 30 minute Hot Springs Soak (included in the hotel stay) upon our arrival. I had forgotten about it. Enjoyed the soak both inside and outside the hotel. The day after arrival, it got pretty windy so we were graciously accommodated inside. Thankful for the helpful staff. They offered to help w/the luggage on arrival and departure. Breakfast was appetizing. Nice presentation. Hotel stay includes a $15/person meal - per day. Anything above the $15 is applied to your hotel room. When no server is available, then a buffet is offered. I'll take that any day. Do suggest the rug in room be removed. It is clean but looks old. Also, because we, the customers, choose the room we will be staying in, please note on your website whether rooms are located on first floor or second floor. Helpful to those who struggle w/stairs. Highly recommend this hotel.

A step back to a golden era when you enter Sierra Grande! Very welcoming, relaxing, clean and safe. They're hot pools, sauna a massage are amazing! Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. No elevator, but an amazing array for breakfast! Staff was polite, friendly and focused on guest. Great location. Keep up the good work. We especially love the vintage photos of Sierra Grande from scores of years ago.

We made reservations for brunch for eight of us! Our table was outside on the patio, at a large round table which provided for great conversation. Our wait person, Stephanie, was so very fun and personable, and provided the very best of service! Great food selections, and mimosas! I would highly recommend the restaurant.

Great little hotel tied to Ted Turner’s properties. Not the cheapest lodging but when you want a little “je ne sais quoi” in Truth or Consequences 😎. It had a great breakfast prior to Covid but unknown if they are back in 2023.

Stayed one night to celebrate my wife's birthday with friends. We booked 2 rooms and the Casita. The front desk ladies and staff were amazing. We had car trouble upon arrival and they helped us find a good repair place. All of them were so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help us with our bags the next morning. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The only thing that we would suggest to management to change is making the Casita wheelchair accessible from the parking lot to the front steps, and into the house. Gravel from the parking lot to the house, and two steps to climb to get inside.Tons of room inside though. Thank you for a great stay otherwise.

Great front desk staff, indoor and outdoor soaks both were excellent.. (plenty of birds flittering around in the 7:15am outdoor session.. if you’re an early bird, go for it). Blue corn pancakes for bfast were great too. Price of room is more than I typically spend but felt it was worth it for one night to wind down a great vacation in southern NM.

What a great casual setting for a romantic getaway! The rooms are very clean and tidy and the staff is wonderful. The mineral baths are relaxing and the couples massage is highly recommended. There are great photographs and maps throughout! Go, relax and enjoy!

We traveled here as a group of five and the lodge was simply impeccable. Charming, friendly, and exuding warmth. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the communication is great. The soaking experience is the top we’ve been to. Highly recommended.

A place for physical and mental renewal As a senior adult, I’ve stayed in a lifetime of hotels…but have never experienced the level of courtesy and positivity as the Sierra Grande Lodge staff has given me this weekend. The lodge is peaceful…and comfortably furnished, with refreshing outdoor seating areas, as well. A tasty full breakfast is served…eggs topped with cheese and green chile, smoked bacon, breads and giant muffins, varieties of fruit and oatmeal. Topping it all off is the inclusion of private soaks each day for all guests! The outdoor mineral soaking pool we enjoyed was tranquil and beautifully designed. We’ll most definitely return to this oasis retreat

This is definitely the place to go for a TorC mineral bath/hot spring experience. Their decoration is as timeless as the South West, and is worth every penny (and more --the spa treatments available are extremely adorable)! They serve an amazing brunch as well. I could not recommend Sierra Grande Lodge & Spa any higher!

We were traveling and so excited to be there after reading all the good reviews. The girl that checked us in and the front desk girl when we checked out were both un friendly. I would have been happy with at minimum a smile. The soak was barely warm which was the biggest bummer. Room was cute and comfy. Outdoor zen areas are so peaceful.

Had a one night stay on a monday and had a late check in. Night staff was very polite and helpful and kept a very nice atmosphere with aromatherapy and calm music. The hot springs tubs included with stay were very well managed- this is a full service experience compared to other another local hot springs we have visited. They fill the tub for you and even go as far as including a pitcher of ice water for you to drink while in the tub. The room was nice and the tub in the room was large and clean. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for having us

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Sierra Grand Lodge. The spa amenities are great, our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and professional. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the Sierra Grande to others.

Great time, beautiful spa. Room a little smaller than expected and the patio is shared with like 5 other rooms but still nice. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was delicious.

The first difficulty was scheduling a massage. Apparently though the staff may be fully vaccinated, the contractual help is not. And when this issue is addressed, the management told me it was up to some unknown organizational process. What do you think about that Mr. Ted Turner? Was Jane correct then in her criticism of you and how you run your business? The second difficulty was at check in. The woman at the front desk was overly reserved, to the point of not telling us that we had a free bath scheduled for 6:30pm and we had arrived at 5 pm. She also did not tell us our room number, just put the keys on the desk in front of us. Very poor service. Thirdly, the "mineral waters" coming out of a special spigot in the bath tub never got hot. It was tepid water. Very disappointing. We have been to almost every hot springs in this town and they all have very hot water coming out of the ground. Even the bath tub's hot water regular faucet never got hot, just warm. This is unacceptable!. The furnishings of the room were quite nice. The hot breakfast was a great plus. I doubt we will be staying here again, nor will we recommend it to others.

My family and I rented the Casita and we had such a wonderful time. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The spirit tub and the outside tub were spectacular. The breakfast was delicious. We can't wait to come back

The room was a little more basic than expected but had a huge soaking tub. Massive fluffy towels too. Very clean, staff very pleasant and efficient and the free mineral bath soak - amazing way to start the day. I would definately stay again.

Perfect getaway for spa lovers. Recently visited with girlfriends and totally loved the massages/geothermal soaks. Great ambiance...The staff is very accommodating and helping nature. They also serve hot/cold breakfast in a perfectly cozy dining area.

Cozy, intimate, friendly lodge. Our 4th visit to t or c. Always stay here. Clean, hot mineral soak everyday included. Good options for the breakfast with a beautiful patio to dine. Clean comfy king bed room with large tub/ shower. We spend most of our time at the nearby lake.

Booked an event at the conference center and it was well worth it! The space was great with a beautiful view, food was delicious, staff was very friendly and attentive, and the event coordinator was very helpful. The hotel room was awesome and the private outdoor soak was perfect! Will definitely return 👍🏼

Great pool, Staff we're very friendly, smiling and helpful. I also got a massage along with the soak. 90 minutes, she did a great job, relaxing yet enough pressure to work out the knots. All for under $150. Great price for all of that!

This is a great little hotel the property is well maintained. The room was very clean and well maintained. Great place for couples to get away and relax. The dipping spas rooms are clean and very private. You can soak inside or outside I recommend at least one soak in outside when it is dark can't beat it. The booked a couples massage and it was one of the best massages we ever had. If you book a massage you also get a extra soak before the massage. The Staff working there will go out of there way to make you stay as enjoyable as possible. All the staff there are polite and very helpful. The only negative is the restaurant is still closed so getting food to your room is a no go at the moment. Hopefully this will change soon they do offer a small breakfast in the morning delivered to your room when you check in they give you a form to fill out and you can pick and choose a few breakfast items not something to write home about but it's enough to get your through lunch. Over all this is a great place to stay..

The restaurant is open again on weekends! Great food in a great setting at very reasonable prices. The patio is wonderful. We are lucky to have this Ted Turner resort in town. Come as you are, there is no snobbery here.

Christmas Brunch Buffet at Sierra Grande Lodge - We arrived 10 minutes early for the 11:00 seating but they didn’t start seating till 11:20. As we were lead to what we thought was crowded seating, we asked if we could set at a table that was less crowded and were told “No” that seating was pre-assigned. We had thought that the $65 price per person was high but figured they would provide a free Christmas drink as included in the price. Wrong. The Christmas Brunch Buffet was somewhat limited in its verity and not even a potato dish. We were disappointed in our Christmas choice for brunch for $141.05 including tax and after the meal, figured we would have had better selection at 1/3 the price at Dennys.
