To be honest this is an older motel in a run down location. That being said the rooms were clean and bug free and everything worked. The manager worked hard to get me checked in early and the entire staff was friendly, positive and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again. Note: I've read some outrageous and unbelievable reviews on Motel 6 locations where I have stayed without issue. In my experience many of these reviewers have an agenda...maybe they didn't get something they wanted or got something they didn't want...and decided to retaliate. A Motel 6 manager once told me they were prevented by company policy from defending themselves by replying to correct the record. I'm just saying that the reader should consider this in deciding whether or not to stay at any Motel 6 location.

First time passing through. The whole town was booked with No vacancy signs up at every hotel. A room was booked through another app and charged my card twice. Upon arrival, all rooms were taken and my reservation was not showing up. I spoke with the company who I booked my reservation through and they were so rude! Thank Goodness for the manager at this hotel. She worked her magic and pulled some strings and amazingly got us into a room!! Thank you for making this trip happen!!

I liked The hot shower only because I had sunscreen in my eyes and needed to wash my face asap. Otherwise I would have checked right back out as soon as I saw the room. The place literally needs to be torn down and start from scratch. The hallways smell like fish and feet, and do they own a vacuum at this location because the carpeted hallways and dirt and debris blowing from the air conditioning unit inside the room say they do not. The original flooring under the laminate flooring felt like it had large “pits” or holes all throughout the room as if new flooring was laid over flood damage and it will cave in at some point. The bedspread had multiple burn holes and although the bedding and towels seemed washed, they looked and smelled old and dingey. There is a group of regulars that hangout at the rear entrance and although they were polite, it’s not super comforting as a traveler. As we left our room at checkout, there was fresh bloody fingerprints on the utility closet we walked past at the end of the hallway to exit our room… what an amazing farewell from a place I will definitely never stay at again. I left there feeling like I needed a shower to wash the motel 6 off. Yuck!

A dump. Dirty floors in hallways. Front desk in disarray. The room was nice and there WAS hot water.

I appreciate the laminate flooring in the rooms and the helpfull staff. The lady behind the desk looked annoyed when I first arrived but was actually friendly an let me borrow a phone charger for a few hours. This was about the only good thing about this motel. The pillows were horrible, flat and hard...as was the bed. The towel rack/box in the bathroom was hanging crookedly and the toilet made a loud bang whenever we sat down or got up. No shampoo/conditioner/lotion. Loud AC. I don't understand having remotes without a guide option, it makes the TV practically useless unless you like flipping through channels endlessly. Glad I had a book. Overall, the cheap price was not worth the uncomfortable room.

Very pleasant stay! Booked last min. The front desk lady was a sweetheart through out the checking process. Upon arrival the room itself was updated and very cute and the temp was nice and cool already. Comfy bed and clean. I felt safe as a solo traveler staying at this motel 6 location. Water was hot. Under $60?! I’ve stayed in some awful places that were double the price. There’s also no deposit if you book with your card online! Pretty neat. Would absolutely stay here again if traveling through T&S 💚

This place was super gross. The bathroom had not been cleaned and the bedding was covered in stains. I checked in, took a look around, and drove away immediately. This place needs to be torn down. If you’re looking for a safe and clean place to stay the night look elsewhere.

The building is not secure/safe. The backdoor to the building was broken. It did not lock at all and was visibly open at all times. The floor was sticky. The room was dirty, the toilet ran all night. The ice machine was dirty, and missing a grate. You could see the inside of the machine - it was gross inside. The first night we were kept up by dogs barking all night and there was a fight in the hall outside my door. I reported both things the next morning. The second night the dogs continued to bark all night. All of our room keys stopped working and would not open our room after the first night. I had to go get them programed again, front desk had no idea why. We had planned on extending our stay passed two days - we did not -we left as quickly as we could. The back of the building had broken chairs and shopping carts. Just don't.

Its a motel 6, right off the feeeway. That says most of what you need to know. McDonalds and Chevron right there, easy off and on the freeway. May or may not stay there again.

This place is simply horrible, dirty, nasty all around. The guy tending to the hotel was a nice dude, that even warned me to park near by to avoid a car break in. The only reason I got it is because I was death tired, and all of the surrounding hotels were packed.

I have no words to describe how bad this place is! I can overlook the appearance of the exterior building as it is in an economically challenged location. But that does not explain or excuse the rest of the bad experience. From waiting at the front desk for nearly 20 minutes to check in (3 different people went to locate someone to check us in during that time) to burn holes in the bedding, no towels being provided, a group of undesirable persons wandering the property, a showerhead that can only be described as practically falling off the wall, absolutely no internet service, and a God awful stench in the hallways, the best advice I can give you is to stay as far away this particular location of Motel 6 as you possibly can.

My experience was much better than I expected after reading the reviews. The sheets were clean, there was no bad smell and the staff was friendly. The things that could be improved were that the hallway floor was absolutely disgusting and even had broken glass on it, and the room floor was also really gross, I had to wear my shoes or else my socks would get dirty! But overall it was worth it plus there’s a Mexican restaurant in the same parking lot that you can walk to.

Not much to this motel. Walls are thin. You can hear everything. Dogs barking all night people talking running up and down the halls

It works in a pinch. Don't be overwhelmed by the stench in the hallways, the rooms smell a little better. I would only pick this as a last resort.

The electrical set up in this hotel was just scary. There were no towels placed in the room, we had to wait an hour for some to be laundered and then those bath towels were given to us damp. We were never provided wash cloths or hand towels. The entire hotel was disgusting and trashed and wreaked of smoke. There were people wandering in and out all over the place who were clearly on drugs. It was a horrible experience for my family. We did not even stay the second night of our reservation. We opted to waste the money and drive home one day early to get out of this roach motel!! Warning: Stay literally anywhere else. We will never stay at any Motel 6 ever again because of this experience.

Room fairly clean. Curtains falling off rods. Bathtub hadn't seen been cleaned in who knows how long. Will avoid Motel 6 in the future.

I stayed here on a trip to Phoenix Arizona for Christmas room was very basic but clean great place to stop for just a quick overnight sleep at $45. Next door to McDonald's a few blocks away from Walmart. I also stayed here on my return trip back to Minnesota

I choose Motel 6 because I travel with a pet. That is a huge selling point, and Motel 6 will always be my first choice. On my trip to Arizona I stayed at Motel 6 in Rolla, MO and Amarillo. The Motel 6 in Truth or Consequences is in need of an upgrade because it paled in comparison. I suppose this one is more noisy because it has an indoor corridor that connects the rooms. I was well aware that I had neighbors while I was there. The printer in the front office didn't work to give me a receipt, but the clerk offered to handwrite one. The shower in my room did not work. The handle just moved back and forth. The room was clean, but the toilet was sketchy on flushing. It was okay for one night and I would stay here again.

Vicky was so nice, and so was the young man who was helping her. I was using a cane and had a dog on a leash and he repeatedly opened the door for me. I had reserved 2 nights and changed it so Vicky worked with the computer to find me a great rate! The room was VERY clean, and all staff was really nice and helpful. My only criticism was the outdoor area near the motel, but some of that probably wasn't on their property. I felt VERY safe there! Thanks for a great stay!

I would honestly say to stay as far away from this place as you can. I will be spending quite a bit of time in this town and will never return here. This is a very rundown property. Made a reservation online, arrived around 9ish. No vacancy signs up on the front door. Took the clerk 10-15 minutes to get me checked in because according to her, the internet is slow. Go to car to get stuff. There was a vehicle that looked kind of sketchy, cruising through the parking lot. I get to the room and decide to go and shower. The toilet was not even attached to the floor, the whole thing slid sideways. Im glad it was me and not an elderly person, or anyone else for that matter, as someone could have been seriously hurt. I go down to the desk and have to wait another 10 minutes because she is checking in another party. I tell her the problem with the toilet and she says "Again?" So, this is nothing new. She says, well let me see if I can find something. She finds me another room. Great! Gives me keys and off i go. As im coming out of the room, i pass the couple who was checking in. Apparently they had to change rooms as well, so we were neighbors once again. The 2nd room...not so great, but better than the first one. Long hair in bathtub, dingy washcloths, what looked like dried animal vomit or something underneath the bed. How can 2 parties be moved to other other rooms when there is no vacancy? Trying to sell unsellable rooms and hope no one complains so the other one sells is bad business.

Better motel 6 than Albuquerque that’s for sure lol. It was comfortable and clean and really quiet. Would come back if I’m on a budget and need a decent place to stay. Really friendly receptionist also.

If I could give this to place a negative review I would. This motel is not only seedy, but it’s falling apart. Their room a/c units aren’t equipped to handle the hot, high humidity July weather and everything was damp. Not only that, but when I woke up all of my belongings were damp, too. There were cockroaches in the room and outrageously uncomfortable mattresses. There is no designated pet area and the whole “yard” - think sandy parking lot - is covered in fire ants. My girl got stung several times and woke up with welts. I don’t understand how this place is still in business. Don’t go there. It’s not worth the hassle.

The room was very clean there was a young man curly hair who was super nice friendly an helpful. But there was a man who went beyond his job description and did a Very big favor for me. I forgot my dogs pillow this dog of mine passed away 3 years ago an it means a great deal to me that he malled my pillow. Thank you once again for everything

Good clean place where value is the issue, I found it via Google maps by location then searching Motels and Price. We will definitely stay there again if we need to stop in Truth or Consequences.

The hotel is a bit tired and run down. I don't mind that. We needed a 3 to 4 hour nap to break up a long drive. Ok for the price. Mostly clean and comfortable bed. That's all we wanted

Clean, friendly staff. No frills sort of place. The heat unit is way too loud sounds like a generator going on all night,. Only positive side of this, my nervous dog slept well,. The noise drown all other activity in hallway.

I stay at motel 6 all along my route, as it is affordable. But the motels are usually unkept with methj heads smoking and hanging all around the offices. But this one, was clean, staff was professional, everything worked in the room and I felt very comfortable. The new manager is doing a great job keeping things clean and running efficiently.
