Loved every minute of our time there. Met and exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly, nice shower and bathroom area to clean up and change. Price was ridiculously fair for our time spent there. We did the one hour private room. Room and pool was nice and clean. Water felt great and you can't beat the view. Cool water sprinkler bucket overhead, misters if you need them as well as a fan. Nice, private and quiet. We really enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

The pools were beautiful, natural, and sparkling clean. The temperatures varied in each pool and there was also a cold shower. Calm music was playing and beautiful plants and sunshine surrounded us. There were comfortable places to sit and lounge in both the shade or sun. They offered free tea as well and all of the guests were quiet and respectful. I appreciated everything about this restoring experience and we will be returning. One of my most positive and enjoyable hot springs experience for sure!

Finally was able to get a reservation for a trip in January! This place is always booked and it's easy to see why. Their staff is knowledgeable, highly trained in great customer service and the place itself is spotless. Had a private soak as well as a spot in the public pools and both experiences were their own wonderful thing. Soaking while under the stars, a full moon, and owls flying overhead was magical. Luckily, I was able to leave right before their rush - 7pm on a Friday night. So many people coming in as I left, so be warned, if you want a quieter experience, ask them about their non-peak hours. :)

My boyfriend and I stayed here September of 2022 for two nights. As cat lovers, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hot springs has a beautiful resident cat, Minnow, which they've even dedicated one of the pools to. Waking up to Minnow outside our front door every morning just made the place better. Overall, we loved our stay. Not many people at all and the hot springs pools are right down by the river. They were so relaxing and the hammocks in the last pool were nice too. Everyone was very respectful and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are very nice for the price and the full kitchen was especially great. We'd definitely recommend this place if you're visiting and we'd definitely come back should we find ourselves in the area.

Calm and clean. Easy parking and easy to find. We did the private soak. Everyone was super sweet but after you check in youโ€™re left alone. All the other guests were very respect of their volume. We felt like the only ones there! Super clean, and they have everything you need if you forget something at really reasonable rent prices. We brought pillows for the lounge chairs and next time Iโ€™ll bring a plastic water bottle because I had to work to make sure my metal one didnโ€™t make noise. The wildlife on the Rio is even so amazing! Canโ€™t recommend enough.

What can I say about this place? Itโ€™s so relaxing as soon as we walk, we were a party of 6. Which was amazing thank you guys for accommodating all of us. The pools are so clean and comfortable. The hammocks were so relaxing. You pay for what you get! Definitely!!!! Recommend this place itโ€™s so amazing! Staff is awesome and pleasant they know what they are doing. The hammocks in the pool was absolutely amazing! Do stop by here, we didnโ€™t do the private rooms as we are a big family but Iโ€™m sure they are just as relaxing! There wasnโ€™t that many people around us but we definitely felt so comfortable being there and everyone whispering and meditating is awesome. Thank you ! Will be for sure returning!

We came in our RV, full hookups. This is a great place! Staying in their rooms or getting an RV site is a great value. Their spring water is very good, it does not have any sulfur smell. Their facilities are very well maintained. There is a lot of attention to detail that I appreciate. The different temperature pools are great to warm up and cool down. I highly recommend this place!

I was disappointed with my experience here. The lighting was very nice and I enjoyed plunging into the river but I was expecting a relaxing atmosphere. Instead it was a social, party like environment. There was a woman face timing from the pool and two of the tubs had noisy groups. The water never got very hot so it felt more like hanging out in a regular heated pool. I love a good bathhouse or spa and frequent them in NYC and anytime I travel. I don't mind conversation but this was really obnoxious. If you're staying there then I'm sure it's fine as you can come and go as you please and avoid the noisier crowd. But paying for one hour at $25-35 is not worth the risk. They have private tubs for a higher cost which might be a good option but there are plenty of private soaks in the area for way less. The one I used at the Charles was very nice and way hotter. They also provided towels. I suggest Riverbend implement quiet hours so hourly paying guests can also have a relaxing time. Or give guests a larger window of time.

Amazing experience! The place is beautiful and relaxing! I rented a private pool and it was amazing. However, I have to point out that they say people should whisper, but I could hear all the conversations and laughing from the private pools next to me.

Excellent place to go to get some R&R. It's great if you want to go alone or with company in the public or private pools. You could definitely do some meditation and reconnect with yourself or a partner in the private pools. The view of the river really sets the mood and I was told that the lights in the rooms look really good in the evening. They have cool mist to contrast once you exit the water and a over head shower that also has cool water while you're in the pool. A privacy curtain can be used for more privacy as bathing suits are optional and people use the river and can see into the rooms. Very affordable but you have to plan in advance as they do tend to be book for weeks in advance at times.

Great experience! The location is so beautifully decorated with local art. The atmosphere is very serene and calming, exactly what you'd want when you're relaxing in the hot springs. My bf and I rented a private pool and it was wonderful. Made our time there special and intimate. Place was very clean and quiet. Definitely going back!

Enjoyed our stay here. Probably the nicest place in town. Single queen bedroom was small, yet clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and competent. The main attraction is definitely the hot springs pools and patio area (which includes a dry sauna and outdoor bar). Nighttime soaks were the best with the extraordinary lighting and landscaping, although daytime views of the river and surrounding mountains is a close second. Priced a little on the high side, but worth it.

This is the most relaxing place ever! I am so grateful for the opportunity to visit such a magical place. The attention to detail is so beautiful; you can feel the love put into creating this sanctuary. One really feels relaxed and rejuvenated after having spent some time here. It literally refuels the batteries of body mind and spirit. I feel like a brand new person after visiting here! We have already booked our next visit to keep our energy fresh!

We love this place and can't wait to come back. Right on the river, it's beautiful and serene. The atmosphere is super chill and the tubs are fantastic. The whole place is beautifully landscaped and a little piece of paradise in T or C. The group hang out area is very accomodating with sinks, microwave and grill and is a lovely place to enjoy some food and drink. Staff were friendly and helpful. Resident kitty, Minnow adds to the charm. My only suggestion is to add a hairdryer to each room.

Our second time here! We love the variety of hot springs (there are 7 small pools and 1 big pool) with varying temperatures. The decor is absolutely gorgeous with copper railings, a few carved wooden spiral columns, cute metal towel hooks shaped like dragonflies, a couple wind sculptures, small fountains, tiny waterfalls, and numerous beautiful paintings mounted on every wall. And, of course, the stunning view of the Rio Grande river and panoramic landscape and hillsides. I highly recommend seeing the place right at sunset and into the night. Thatโ€™s when the facility transforms into a chill lounge dotted with hundreds of points of light (unmoving matrices of lasers pointed at trees, bushes, & the river that make them look like theyโ€™re slightly sparkling; string lights & ceiling lights that subtly change colors; and warm-colored pathway lights, to name a few). I love seeing this place at night!

Resort is beautiful. Nice lighting and well kept facilities. Our room was big and clean w/ a perfectly serviceable kitchen. Bed was comfortable. Whether you enjoy yourself or not depends largely on what you're looking for.... For us, the many rules, particularly about noise, which are enforced over and over again, made it hard to enjoy the experience. Staff gave us a full on orientation speech when we arrived--in addition to receiving the information before booking, signing the waiver, the reminders after booking, and before we arrived. After all that, we were so paranoid about making too much noise, we had trouble enjoying each other's company--on our anniversary trip. We decided to head out to get a little space and found the location, in town was less than desirable. Parking was scant, too--and there's not much going on in the town. So for us, this is a come for a few hours and then leave place, not a weekend getaway.

GORGEOUS VIEWS! MUST DO! I loved visiting Riverbend with my boyfriend. It was so romantic. Their whisper policy was helpful in enjoying our time. It was clean, pretty, and had showers. Definitely worth the money!!! If you get too hot, there is a little bucket shower in the private hot springs to cool down. I would recommend getting a private tub if you have the extra $10

This place was really serene. Just a lovely experience. We had a nice little private room to soak in for 50 minutes, with a beautiful view overlooking the Rio Grande with trees and the mountains painting the background. The facility was very clean and peaceful. The hot spring soak was amazing! The water was so nice on my skin, I didn't feel all dried out like after going in a hot tub, my skins so soft now. The heat just melts away all your stress and aches. I will definitely be coming back as often as I can, and I'll be recommending this place to all my family and friends. And although we didn't use it, they did have rooms to stay in for the night, a common area with several hot spring pools and there were also some nice looking restaurants right next door. This would be a really nice place to stay for a day/night while on a road trip.

If I could give this place more than five stars I would! I spent three hours there today. I bought a property pass and soaked in the public pools for an hour, then went to a private tub and soak for an hour, and then bought another hour at the public pools. This place is squeaky clean and so pretty and scenic. The pools are marvelous. I actually think I enjoyed the public pools more than the private. Customer service was excellent. You make your reservation either online or by calling. Itโ€™s best to leave a message if you call, but they called me back within five minutes. I canโ€™t wait to come back here again and will go out of my way to do it.

Easy to find on Goggle maps. Ample parking. The only changing rooms were bathrooms with 2 small showers. Nice waiting area. Quiet. Private pool rental is a must. We combined this with a public session. Your enjoyment will depend on the other patrons. Some are respectful, some do not know when to shut up. Lights at night are very low. A small, dim flashlight helped me not to fall. We will return here. Very clean. I did not appreciate the two text messages I received from Riverbend at 8:27 am Christmas morning, waking me up. These texts gave me a link to tip the staff. Poor taste River bend.

We have never had a bad soak at Riverbend but this one in Tewa was especially enjoyable. The temperature was perfect. The private rooms are always clean and the service runs smoothly. When people ask us where to soak, we always recommend Riverbend.

My partner and I booked a private bath in the Apache Room and although it clearly states in the description to expect the water temp to be warm, I still hoped it would be warmer than it was. I have gone to other hot springs in T or C where the hot spring water is actually piping hot LOL. I loved the ambiance and the check in/ booking process was very easy. Overall, I would be willing to give it another try in the future!

The place is very busy and it's becoming difficult to get rooms. The pools are nice but small. The temperature is clearly indicated. Absolutely no good offered on site. Some rooms have kitchens and they offer coffee in the morning, all other food will have to be acquired in town

  • 5/5 Ellen B. 3 months ago on Google New
We stayed in one of the RV spots for 2 nights. So convenient to be directly across the street from the springs. Fantastic location with lovely stone hot tubs overlooking the water. Really enjoyed being able to use public pools anytime. Great night lights and sky. Would visit again if in the area.

We booked a private Hot Springs soaking tub room for the PM for New Years Eve. The online reservation was easy. It was really enjoyable and relaxing with the crisp air outside. The temperature of the water was perfect as was the lighting and low music. Was the perfect way to end a day of adventure and 2023. Information about parking was a little confusing as it gave a Lot #10 which when I came to the window to inquire the girl said you just park anywhere. Overall Great Experience

We absolutely loved our stay! We had never been, so were not sure what to expect, but it was amazing. The front desk employees were extremely nice and helpful. The room was so clean., as was the whole property. We loved the outside kitchen with hot tea options all day. The quietness really gave us a chance to quiet our minds and meditate. A few people would start to get loud, and we loved that the employees occasionally walked by and would remind people to keep it down. I am especially grateful for the price. I can not express how appreciative my husband and I were about the price. We have four boys and life is expensive, but to be able to go somewhere like this and not break the bank, itโ€™s just amazing!! In just the few hours from our departure, we have already began to recommend to all our family and friends. Thank you Riverbend Hot Springs from the bottom of our hearts, The Orozcoโ€™s

Very fun little treat. With a view of the Rio Grande and the mountains you can't beat it. They keep it fresh and clean. The 50 minutes is perfect. They even have showers and a bathroom at the ready. Came for the Chili Challenge 4x4 event and end with a hot bath and a cold brew up the street. Can't ask for much more.

We used the private pools: This was an amazing stop in T-or-C. We really enjoyed our time. The water was nice and hot, the mist option and water bucket were used and absolutely loved. The view was absolutely beautiful. Staff was understanding about rescheduling and were very pleasant over the phone. The pricing was great too! Thank you.

I visited the hot springs last year while on vacation in New Mexico. I didn't stay at this resort, but just booked a hot springs visit for my friend and I. I visited several hot springs while on this vacation and this one was by far my favorite. When we visited it had snowed so it was so relaxing to sit in the hot springs while snow was all around. The hot springs bath overlooked the Rio Grande - that was so beautiful and tranquil! I felt so relaxed soaking in the bath. It was nice, quiet, and peaceful. I really think winter was a perfect time to visit - there were fewer tourists and more time slots to visit the springs available. I would love to visit here again one day.

Everyone was extremely friendly and the place is very clean and beautiful! Many different pools and different temperatures so you can find the one you enjoy. Bonus is cool water shower stations so you can cool off and continue in the mineral water experience comfortably. We did not stay there overnight so I can't comment on the rooms, but we are going back again for another experience. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful location, relaxing atmosphere. No kids and loud voices. One hour soaking is more than enough. Lots of small pools with different temperatures in each. You can choose the level of hot water youโ€™d like to relax. There is also sauna on-site and few private rooms.

Only went for a 1 hr soak. Very relaxing experience. The people next door were really noisy, so I did report it, and they quickly came to let them know to keep it down. Keep in mind that there are a lot of signs that say it is a quiet zone and only whisper beyond a certain point. It is a place to relax in the quiet, not play around, lol

Our idea of paradise! My wife and I just finished a wonderful 3 night stay in one of the Courtyard Suites, and reached the relaxation levels weโ€™d hoped for. The happy Zen vibe is everywhere, the music, the lights, the meticulous ornamentation, etc. Wonderful staff, weโ€™ve stayed on other occasions, and never been disappointed. We already are planning our next visit.

Great experience, we stayed in one of their RV spots and were able to get a spot without reservations. My wife and I went for a soak the evening we arrived then again the next morning. Cool thing about staying there is that you can soak as long as the community pools are open. The place is amazing, overlooking the river and we watched a full moon rise over the mountains while soaking, just fabulous. The staff was great and the other guests are so diverse and interesting. We met some cool folks while soaking. If you like hot springs, you should check them out. They also have private tubs that my wife and I have enjoyed on other visits.

With the summer heat reaching over 3 digits in this part of NM Riverbend remains a cool quiet oasis. I recommend an overnight stay so you can soak in their extended late night & early morning hours. Oh! And river access has reopened so you can dip into the chilly Rio to cool off!

I recently stayed at this resort with my girlfriend as a weekend getaway vacation. The pools are great with a nice view of the river, and desert landscape. The days we stayed, Thursday-Saturday, were mostly quiet at all hours when we entered the public pools. It was really only about until Saturday, the volume got a bit loud for my liking but nonetheless satisfactory. The private pools are fantastic, renting out the Apache, Rio, and Tewa pools. The Rio is by far the hottest pool we entered, taking a while for us to get acclimated to the hot spring. The other two pools similar and a lot more milder. We stayed in the Artist room, and although small, it was still manageable to get around and not feel so compact. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the resort, and we plan on coming back soon.

  • 5/5 Susette W. 2 years ago on Google
We had a wonderful time during two stays on both ends of a two week camping trip. It was heavenly to sit in the springs above the Rio Grande and watch birds fishing! The staff members we interacted with were professional, friendly and engaging. We appreciated the cleanliness and thoughtful items in our kitchen and rooms. We would have loved to be able to start soaking earlier in the morning but we had a great experience and hope to go back soon! It was a lovely interlude in our vacation.

  • 5/5 Jim J. 8 months ago on Google
Just keeps getting better. After more than 1/2 dozen visits discovered the waterfall cooling off feature below the river deck. Made the 105 degree ambient air temperature comfortable. Stand in RV spot #3 and per the norm everything was perfect.

We booked a private tub session at riverbend hot springs. The tub was plenty big enough for our group of 4. Really enjoyed watching birds along the river and the beautiful mountain back drop. Very clean and nicely set up. Would go again! Well worth a relaxing visit! Showers on site to clean yourself before and after your soak.

I love this place. I first visited this hot spring in 1993 when it belonged to a youth hostel. Now it maintains some of it's rustic charm while being greatly improved. The art and layout of the tubs is beautiful. With the early morning special, I can soak for almost 2 hours in a private tub. It is less expensive than a massage, even including a tank of gas, and I get just as much pain relief in my neck, back and shoulder. The staff are friendly and the place is very clean. I like the early morning because some guests do not follow the no lotions/oils policy and you can see a film on the surface of the water.

An absolutely amazing peaceful experience. The staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere was perfect! My BF and I had the most relaxing weekend. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

This is the second time we have stayed here. It was wonderful. The tea bar(free), outside lounging areas and hot pools were all accessible and clean. The only problem we had was a loud-phone talking guest. One of the staff members asked her to be quieter and another staffer (the next day), said that they did not enforce the 'whisper' policy anymore. It's very annoying to be in such a relaxed atmosphere and have one person spoil it.

  • 5/5 Nikki S. 2 years ago on Google
The hot springs here are amazing. I've only ever reserved private soak time but it's very private and the price is reasonable. The pools are very large and comfortable for 2 people and they have hotter and cooler pools depending on what you're looking for. Also ceiling fans, cool misters, cold overhead showers and great views of the river. It's a beautiful property with friendly staff.
