A lovely place with a few small rooms and a couple larger rooms— if you like your space upgrade to the larger rooms. We upgraded after arriving and we loved it— felt like royalty. A few notes for future travelers: 1. There are no pesticides or herbicides used around here, so expect a very lively cacophony of frogs and geckos in the twilight and evening. 2. The first room we had the AC was not working properly, but Bobby is a very friendly and attentive host and I’m sure fixed it promptly. 3. While Bobby and his family are not Muslim, most in the community are, and the “call to prayers” are loud and proud— though not the most harmonious at 4:30am. So be prepared if you’re unused to it. (This is true for everywhere you will stay in this region.) 4. The breakfast was literally the best we had in all of Indonesia— just simple fruits, coconut water, coffee, fried rice and a small sticky rice wrap, yet the best around. I wished they offered lunches and dinners! 5. The CATS!!! I can’t say enough good about these Korean born cats. The friendliest cats ever— all orange tabbies and all love all the time. If we could have we would have adopted one and brought it back to Bangkok with us!

Nice bungalow. I stayed on standart type room here. For a standart type maybe the bungalow is not too big, but it's have enough space and clean. I like how they decorated the room or maybe even their hotel area. It's have nice bohemian vibes like fancy hotel in Bali. For the surrounding area is quite and peaceful with the farm and garden view. If you like a hotel with private ambience this is the right place for you. The staff is really helpfull and nice even the owner look nice too. The breakfast was good, you can even request for floating breakfast here for free. They give nice decoration to it and you can try and experience the fancy floating breakfast just like in Bali. The food was tasty but maybe you can add more extra fruit to it. lovely place !

Janur Bungalow is a very beautiful place. The ambience is perfect. The room is really cool, bed really nice, the bathroom is perfect. I can tell thousand of good words about this place. If you want to get away from the crowded city, this is perfect place to go. You will feel like home as the service from Bobby and his crew are amazing. They served with a great hospitality. We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. Upon arrival, we're immersed by the lovely garden and beautiful swimming pool, it's like we found hidden paradise,in that moment we instantly knew we made the right decision to stay here. The owner, Mr. Bobby was a pleasant person and during our stay, it felt like we have known each other for a long time. In the morning, you will be served beautiful & delicious breakfast, floating breakfast is also available. Mr. Bobby if you read this, we are very satisfied with your hospitality, and thank you from the bottom of our heart. This is truly a holiday we won't forget and we are soo looking forward to visit you again very soon.

An amazing experience at Janur. Eventhough the location is quite a distance, transport can be arranged by Bobby. Stayed for 3 nights there. We had the local experience and we got to know quite a number of the surrounding villagers. Breakfast was serene with the set up by the pool and the dining area. A must stay.

Bobby and Seo are brilliant, hospitable hosts and their Bungalows are in the most perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. The Bungalows are very comfortable and clean with modern bathrooms. We stayed two nights but wish we could have stayed longer! Bobby and Seo were very helpful in arranging tours and accommodating last minute changes to see the beautiful scenery and of course the sunrise at Borobudur temple (unforgettable) but mostly it was all the extra touches and warm gestures that made our stay very special (coming back to refreshing ice tea after a long hot day was awesome!) Plus the food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients from their garden including fruit, juices and local spices. Very highly recommended!

It’s a hidden serene, quiet and peaceful. Janur Bungalow is not for everyone’s liking, but it’s definitely mine. If you, longing for: nature, crickets sound and birds chirping, far from hectic, secluded & private, peaceful & green, small but sweet, homey & friendly owners, this place is definitely a perfect choice. Had an amazing 2 nights stay in Janur! Amazing place with a very calm ambience and breathtaking view around Janur. Stayed there alone, but not feeling lonely at all thanks to Mas Bobby and Kinan! Bohemian rustic vibes. An Instagramble bungalow. There was a swing outside my room. 😍. I booked one standar room for one night. It fitted for 2 people with no extrabed. No water heater. Bed wasnt so comfy but torerable. But pillows were so thin that I brought my own pillow from my car. Parking area could fit 4 cars. Small pools for a cute floating breakfast. Near the road but still serene. Side to side with rice field. The host have 5 lovely orange cats. 😍😍😍 one named petruk. Please add more lightning in the toilet. Mosquitoes was the problem. Bring your own sofel 😬

This was a lovely weekend trip. Beautiful place, gorgeous garden, copious amounts of food for breakfast, attentive staff. And if you get to meet Bobby the owner of the place, stay a while and have a chat. It's worth it.

Beautiful place to stay to spent your holiday. The price is relatively cheap for the offered facilities. Nice hospitality. Near to most well-known landmarks in magelang, central java. Would come again one day

The location is idilic to visit Borobudur temple, the facilities are clean, the decoration is beautiful and the breakfast healthy and yummy. We had a problem with our room and the owner didn’t hesitate to upgrade us to another one superior, as it was free. The toilet is also very nice and clean, with gel and shampoo. The swimming pool is small but the ambience is so quiet and peaceful that you couldn’t avoid taking a swim upon arrival. The mattress of the room we slept in could be renovated. However, I totally recommend.

The best place to stay! Very quiet place, suitable for honeymoon or just relaxing from the city hustle. I went there with my big family. Mr Bobby is also very nice & helpful host. Will surely comeback here someday! 🎉❤️

Fantastic hosts that go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were brilliant and the whole place was immaculately clean. It's close to everything but best to use a scooter. The local village and surrounding area is fun to explore by foot. The pool was empty for us so check with owners if that is a deal breaker. All the of the food we had at the accommodation was excellent and plentiful.
