One of the best homestays I have ever stayed in. Host Irene and her family was amazing ! The facilities are very clean, the location is excellent, and the food is so tasty. Irene helped us to organize our tour in the area for a very cheap price. Helped us book our trip to Bali with very interesting rates and even dropped us for free at the bus station The only sad thing about it, is that we could not stay more in the homestay Thank you Irene !

My best homestay so far. Room, toilets were clean. The common areas were also nicely done up like a garden that is nice to relax at. Owner was the best host I've ever came across. She helped to arrange for all my trips and although there were last minute changes, she was able to provide an alternative and helped me to get a good price. Location is 20mins from malang town centre but you can always call a grab/gojek. Bonus - There is a good coffee place 1min walk away

How to start? Everything was perfect. The rooms are really comfortable, working AC, hot shower, relaxing terrace on 2nd floor, but most importantly... The family managing the homestay is amazing! They were incredibly welcoming, picking up for late check-in at 3AM, organising tours according to your needs and timing, respecting your privacy but more than happy to chat with you if you want to be talkative, very knowledgeable about Malang and its surroundings. My only hesitation before booking this homestay was that it seemed to be a little far from the city center. But it's really not! Ideal location, and very easy to take the scooter and just a grab that will drop you everywhere in less than 10 minutes. I LOVED IT!

Very comfy, feels like home. The place is clean and hygienic, making the stay more enjoyable. The common areas are well tended. You can make your own coffee and tea any time of the day.

We have stayed at Inni's for three nights. It was one of the most lovely homestays during our vacation. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They also have a very nice terrace.

We stayed at INNI Homestay for four nights in a double bed room and enjoyed it a lot. The room and bathroom was very clean and they provided everything we needed including hot shower, toilet paper, towels etc. The kitchen was pretty well equipped incl. fridge, free coffee and tea and some drinks and food to buy. The water dispenser could be improved because the filter was pretty slow and we had to wait for the water. Thus sometimes we had to buy water bottles. They rent motorbikes with helmets for a reasonable price and Bicycles for free. The staff was friendly, helpful and gave us many advices what we could do nearby. They also organised everything for us we needed (tours, buses, etc.). Because our bus was scheduled for afternoon we even got the option for late check out. There is an indomaret nearby and a big grocery store 500 meters away. To sum up it was a very nice stay there and we definitely recommend!

We stay for a week with all of family member during our trip to Malang. It was an amazing stay, host is friendly and accomodating, the house is so well maintained, clean and we really enjoyed the sharing kitchen/ lounge on the 2nd floor. Room is spacious enough and you can borrow hairdryer from the host. There is a kitchen space which is suitable for light cooking or heating food. Located in the city, so it was not too far from the tourist spot. There is couple of restaurant near the premises and convinience shop too. Highly reccomended homestay ❀️

This was one of the best homestay we had. The rooms are good, clean and comfortable. The central area is very comfortable , you can make your own breakfast or relax. But the best is the staff, the are always there to help you.

Stayed here for 3 nights and would 100% recommend booking your stay at INNI in advance as this homestay is definitely the best In Malang and probably the whole of Indonesia😍 Extremely clean, spacious and air conditioned rooms! The owner Lena and her daughter Irene are the kindest and most helpful hosts ever! Helped us organise transportation to our next destination (Banyuwangi) and arranged a moped for us (Nmax) being able to explore the Colourful Village in Malang and the Tea Plantation! They also have a laundry service, spacious shared kitchen; At the end of our stay Lena gave us a ride to the bus station making sure we get our tickets and the bus driver knows where to drop us off! We will return at INNI Homestay in the future for sure! Thank you Lena, Irene and the whole team at INNI Homestay! Stanel & Olga

My husband and I made a stop in Malang after hiking to Ijen and later Bromo, we craved clean and comfy place for a few days after weeks of wild adventures in villages in East Java and Bali, and this place felt like home. The rooms smell like baby ! Everything feels like you are in your mother's embrace. Kitchen is sort of half balcony, merges with lounge space, everything is clean, organised a d nice. On the rooftop you can do yoga or just chill, they have great space. It is women-owned business, mother and daughter, Indonesians. They are lovely. IRINA (ughter) speaks great English and was very helpful. The Malamg stayed in good memories because of this place. Also, they can organise a tour for you for the Sewu waterfalls. Ahhh, and the breakfast was so delicious and healthy! They accommodated my food intolerances and requests at no extra fees. Wonderful ppl! Lovely family !

Inni Homestay for us was one of the cleanest, tasteful furnished and comfortable home stays we have been to during our two months of traveling indonesia. The chill out area at the top floor and around the kitchen just grant for a good time relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need, even microwave and bake oven. They have a lot of plants around, which we really liked. The beds are comfy, the room and bathroom is super clean, the aircon really powerful!! Not to forget and the most valuable are the owners! Irene and her mom Lena are super helpful and nice in all belongings. Unfortunately we didn’t meet lenas husband. They help you with literally everything: arranging tours, renting motorcycles or scooters, bring your shoes to cleaning service, do laundry, offer super nice breakfast and even gave us jackets for bromo and water shoes for tumpak sewu (wich made our experience really much better compared to Flipflops). The location is not right in the center, but you have everything you need around (warungs, market, barbershop etc.) If you visit Malang (which we highly recommend for visiting the highlights around Bromo, Tumpak Sewu, Kapas Biru) don’t forget to also visit Malang and its beautiful rainbow city. And especially do yourself a favor and stay at Inni homestay ;-)

Stay with family for a week before the new years. Great stay, the lounge area on the 2nd floor is much appreciated. There is board game, card, books and even kids toys and puzzle. I spend such a quality time with my son on our resting days. Host is friendly and accommodated. Highly recommended for the price.

I don't regularly leave reviews but I feel compelled to review our wonderful stay at Inni for 5 nights. The common areas are extremely chill, comfortable, and green. There's a nice stash in the kitchen of food and drinks that you can pick up, but there's an Indomaret a one minute walk away to self cater. The hosts are among the most accommodating, nice, and helpful people we've stayed with. They helped us get to the immigration office (which is close), figure out bus schedules, etc. The tour to Bromo via 4WD was awesome and included a beautiful hike to a waterfall - we were also able to leave at 7am instead of dredging ourselves up at 1:30am - Bromo is still awesome after sunrise. We must highly recommend this place for anyone with children. There were tons of toys, books, and games and this homestay attracts a crowd that is not partying. It's very quiet and laid back. The homestay is in an interesting, very green location. There are several restaurants right outside and a few more an easy walk away, less than ten minutes. This area of the city is much more calm than the center. It's also very close to the most active bus station, Arjosari. It was an easy 15 minute walk with bags. The triple room itself was a bit small for us, but the AC and shower worked perfectly. The private balcony outside is an amazing extension of the room though as well as the common area, so we never spent much time in the room anyhow.

Inside a premium housing complex and located in the city center. Super clean corners, bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, hallway, many restos nearby or you can order grabfood. Maybe can add more tissue in the bedroom. And a TV would be lovely.

Best homestay we had in 6 months. Super friendly family, who will help you with anything. Spacious and clean room, with bathroom and hot shower. Best of all, they have a resting place. If you checked out and need to wait for your train/bus/transfer you can lay down and chill. Very welcome after the Bromo tour. Restaurants, coffee shops and supermarket around the corner. Just perfect.

We just spent three nights in this homestay and everything was amazing. The family running it is so kind, they organized great activities for us (waterfalls, bromo tour, scooter) and helped us to organise visits in Malang. Never felt that good in a hotel than in this one !!

Best homestay in Malang ever! Irene and her family are super lovely, thoughtful and friendly. They would go extra mile to help us- ie with our transport, customised tours, train tickets etc. Before we head to the waterfall, they offered to lend us their water shoes (as we only had slippers) to ensure our trip to the waterfall is safe and fun. Super thoughtful, as we saw people struggling at the waterfall with the wrong shoes. The place is cosy and clean, location is good as well- there's convenience store, reflexology, bakery, restaurants within walking distance. The train station to banyuwangi is just 15 mins away as well. Really enjoyed our stay here and couldn't recommend enough! πŸ€™β€

Very homely atmosphere at this Homestay. Irene and her parents are very nice to speak to and helped us during our stay in Malang. They also arranged the sunrise Bromo tour for us and provided us our room even though we had an early morning checkin. The room and washroom is clean. The kitchen area is extremely cool to hang out with in the evenings when it gets a bit cold. We opted for the laundry service, which was efficient. It is a bit away from the main city. However, we didn’t face any difficulty booking a cab or a bike taxi.

Lovely place to stay, the family is very helpful and dedicated. They would do anything they can to make your stay the best it can be. The place is spotless and the rooms are big. If I come back I would definitely repeat.

One of the best homestays I have ever stayed in. Host Irene and her family is great; the property is immaculate, the location is excellent, and the food is to die for. I would happily live here forever. The only sad thing is, I got to stay here only for a night. The place is very social. The shared kitchen and the sitting areas are perfect. PS. If you are considering booking a tour from Malang, please contact the hosts; they will organize it at affordable rates.

A great stay and definitely value for money! The owners are very helpful, they'd give you recommendations on restaurants, where to go, and even at one time offered to give us a ride to a place we're going to go. The homestay is located in a peaceful housing complex area and have a few restaurants, cafes, and minimarket nearby. There are 2 coffee shops nearby and serve good coffee. If I'm under a budget to travel to Malang, will likely to go here againπŸ‘ŒπŸ»
