Love this hostel! Such a good vibe. There is a full kitchen and free breakfast every morning. The owner is an amazing cook and even made me a delicious vegan meal. There is also a room for workouts and yoga. Lots of people stay for a long time here, and I can totally see why. Would definitely come back!

For me Bali Bobo is the best hostel I have ever been. I felt incredibly welcome and it’s really clean. The two owners Ralf and Elly as well as the staff are sucha lovely people. When I come back to Bali, what I definitely going to do, I will surely stay some more night in Bali Bobo!!!

Really nice hostel!! Almost everything you need, big kitchen, games, ping pong table, pool, etc. It’s a new hostel that just opened before the pandemic so they didn’t have time to get a lot of people. At the moment, not the best for solo travellers, but when it get busier it’s definitely a great hostel (typical hostel)! Only other thing to consider is the location. It’s not really close to anything in particular except maybe the airport. And breakfast average like other places. Owner is super friendly and helpful and provide you tips and where to go which is really good!

Feels like a second home to me! Just arrived in Bali and had a motorbike accident right after the arrival, and then the owner and staffs helped me and supported me during the recovery. They also gave me good recommendation to go in Bali. Thanks for everyone in Bali Bobo Hostel, I will definitely book again one day when I'm in Bali soon!

Been staying in this hostel for 3 weeks and it has been lovely! Staff are so friendly and a lovely atmosphere! It is very chilled and the people are all very nice. I will definitely be coming back!

Clean, cool, good crowd, friendly staff. There were lots of little details that were taken care of here that were neglected at other hostels I have been to. Showers had soap provided and a bunch of hooks so you didn’t have to put your clothes on the floor or hang them over the door. There was AC with sufficient air flow (at least on the top bunk) to keep you cool at night. Locks were provided (with an additional 50k deposit, refunded the next day). They provide free breakfast starting at 8 am, but they saw me getting to leave shortly before 8 and made me breakfast early. My flight was later in the day, but at checkout the host said I could come back and shower again if I needed to. Overall a solid choice.

This is by far the BEST hostel I have EVER been to in Indonesia! The hosts are people with a heart of gold and are always up for a chat. The atmosphere in the hostel is amazing and during my stay I met so many really fun other travellers (but it's not a 'party-hostel'). Everything is extremely clean and the included breakfast is very yummy 😋 I could honestly stay here forever! If you ever go to the South of Bali, I would 10000% recommend this hostel! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the most wholesome and caring hostels I’ve ever been in! The owners are so caring as soon as you walk in they understand the long journey you’ve had, straight away they gave us compliment home brewed kombucha! It’s so easy to meet other solo travellers here and I would defo use this place as great base or to spend a week here whilst surfing around Bali! I loved that we could use the kitchen ourselves to cook a meal! Not many hostels allow this so it was great to cook after 3 months of no cooking. Really can’t recommend the place enough it feels like a very home family set up!

The best hostel I ever was. The staff is exceptional, the vibe is so chilled, the beds so comfortable and the restrooms so clean. Also the best breakfast (changes everyday) and also they have a surprise culinary experience every night. I planned to stay only a couple of days and always extended my stay, because I enjoy my stay so much. Thanks for everything Bali bobo.

Stayed 2 nights there. The atmosphere is more like a homestay rather than a hostel. Vina who is in charge is an exceptional host! I meet with an accident with their rental bike. He managed the situation exceptionally and made my post stay comfortable, and provided medical support if required. He even forgo a part of the repair costs for his bike as the invoice from the workshop is not ready and I have already left the hostel! Seriously one of a kind experience! Thank you very much for your kind hospitality!!!

Amazing hostel! Everyone is treated like family and the hostel owners help you with all your questions, regarding the area or transport. I personally booked through hostel world and stayed there from the 28. Mai until the 30th. Can absolutely recommend :)

I’ve been traveling for over three months and this has been my favourite hostel. The staff are so welcoming, genuinely interested in their guests and always there to help. It feels so homely with the main area and has everything you need - a pool, gym, kitchen and living room. Such lovely vibes in this hostel, I highly recommend. Thank you Agus and Elly for being so kind and making my last days in Indoneisa the best :)

Bali Bobo is by far the greatest hostel I have ever stayed in. Elly and Ralf are the most welcoming people, and ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. All the staff are very friendly including the sweet little cat Millie. The facilities are all clean and the common areas are a lovely place to relax and socialize. I have been to Bobo on a solo trip, as my first place in Bali. This was the best choice, not so far from the airport, easy to reach the best places in southern Bali by scooter (I rent it directly on site at a cheap price) and easy to meet people from all over the world. Perfect for solo travelers, but plus after being there you feel part of a new family. I would like to come back soon!

My all-time favorite hostel, and I visited many. The already low price comes with a good free breakfast which is different almost every day. Free towel service is also included. The owners and employees are genuinely some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Ralph is always in for a chat and spoils his guests with all kinds of balinese snacks and food. Ellie (hope i spell it correctly) has the best recommendations for what to do and where to eat in Bali, and can basically help you with whatever questions you may have. Esther is also very nice and keeps the place very clean. The kitchen is located in the common area, creating a living room-like atmosphere. If I ever visit Bali again this will be me first stop again.

Bali Bobo Hostel.... What can I say about this place.. first of all, I'd like to thank the owners, the beautiful and cheerful Elly who had been such a great and welcoming host. Elly was always attentive to our needs and gave us information about our surroundings. The gentleman Bapak Ralf who was always smiling and sharing his knowledge. He made a great kombucha (recommended a lot) and also gave me organic fresh fruits from his garden :) Their housekeeper, Esther who was always ready to help whenever you need something and she was also friendly. My almost 2 weeks of staying in Bali Bobo Hostel was pleasant and fun. We got to interact with each other and other tenant(s), Elly always invited us to hang out together and shared stories or food. I personally never felt so welcomed as to how Elly and Ralf treated me. They were very humble and great people. It was a pleasure to know them. I highly recommend their place Bali Bobo Hostel if you are looking for a budget-friendly accommodation, clean place, and great location. Arrive as a guest, departure as a friend, return as a family 😊 Danke Elly, Ralf, and Esther.

Bali Bobo Hostel is an amazing place to stay! We have been here for almost 3 month and absolutely loved it! The family that runs the hostel are the friendliest people and alway help you with suggestions and tips on what to do. The location is also great because its quite a good spot on the Bukit to get everywhere and check out places and beaches with your scooter. I highly recommend staying here! We had a really great time!

The most AMAZING place to stay: Ralf, Elly and Monique are the most welcoming family and such a delight :) the dorms were lovely and the beds super spacious, plus there is great places to chill and relax! The staff were amazing and so helpful with anything you need. Very accommodating. Very clean and having a pool to cool off in at night is always a plus. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.

One of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. It feels like a big family. Perfect for backpackers who want to meet new people. The owner Ralf sometimes cooks for his guests. His wife Elli helps you to find the best restaurants and beaches. The rooms and the bathrooms are very clean and very modern. there is also a pool, a small gym and a well equipped kitchen!

If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, do it. Everyone here is so incredibly nice and helpful. Kinda felt like a have new family members after staying for 2 weeks. Ralph (the owner) and his wife Elly are so awesome. They do above and beyond to make sure that all their guests have a great time. Breakfast is available every morning. And Ralph makes pancake breakfast for you Saturday morning. This might be out of your comfort zone but it’s well worth it. I promise.

It’s just the best hostel I’ve been in Indonesia. And we travelled a lot. You’ll find the best people who most probably will become your friends, because Elly and Ralf are incredibly good in connecting people and creating a great atmosphere. Also the hospitality and kindness is just totally another level compared to everything we saw so far. This is how REAL hostels are meant to be.

I came for a couple of nights and finally stayed almost a week at the hostel. We feel like a family member to the host. Always making sure that we are comfortable and sharing so much good tips (store, warung, surf lesson, renting a scooter, helping with SIM card issues, etc.) the atmosphere is really great to chat with other travelers. It’s impossible not to make new friends here.

An amazing hostel at Jimbaran with very cool vibes. The rooms are clean, with AC, charger and a reading light. The staff is very nice and approachable and ready to help you with a smile. The free breakfast is better than many small hotels. There is a pool as well. Once you land in this hostel, your next trip around Bali becomes easier. There are helpful tips and guides for travel, food, culture and activities, this is really helpful.

What a fantastic hostel, great community vibe and the staff is lovely. The variety of the breakfast and other little things at the hostel are very thoughtful and well designed.

This is a lovely hostel which has been built with so much attention to detail. It’s clean, comfortable and has a great social area where you can also cook your own meal. Breakfast is delicious and on weekends Ralph, the owner, cooks his special pancakes for all the guests. There’s even a mini gym with equipment and yoga mats if you want to do your own workout. Beds are comfortable with privacy curtains and the bathrooms are spotlessly clean. You can also rent bikes there cheaply. If you’re looking to stay in Jimbaran or Uluwatu I would highly recommend staying here - I can’t rate it highly enough.

central to south of the island, very social common area, lovely lovely staff who are very knowledgeable and always keen to help (got me a second hand phone and sim when mine was broken), air con is strong and brekkie is not always your standard eggs and toast like other hostels. Loved my experience here!

This place is a little addictive paradise. It's social (not just party), it's got excellent facilities, the staff is amazing, there's little things like ice & big beds to make you feel even more comfortable and it attracts the best people I have n met during travels. I will be back very soon...

Bali bobo is an amazing hostel, perhaps my favourite I have ever stayed in. Elly, Ralph and the rest of the staff are the best hosts ever. They take time to look after everyone and make sure they are having a great experience, they even learn everyone’s names. From this hostel it is possible to reach any beach in the southern peninsula or Kuta, seminyak beaches within half an hour by scooter. I came here for one night and ended up extending for a week… met loads of great people and would recommend highly. Free breakfast and gym too.

The hostel has a really nice vibe. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean! I was sick for 2 days with bali belly, and the staff was super helpful. They even made rice porridge for me, and they really look after their guests, check-in if you are doing well, and help you find the right clinic or hospital. Unbelievable good hospitality!
