She died. My mom was a patient at Banner Imaging East Mesa. She went in for CT scan following a procedure for an abdominal aortic aneurysm 25 days after surgery. It was five days later that her surgeon called on a Saturday night asking that I rush her to the hospital. He was trying to get ahead on his paper work for the week ahead when he read her report. It turns out she had a complication from the surgery, a type A Aortic Dissection. The surgeon later explained that the protocol is for the radiologist to immediately notify the surgeon, which was not done. To understand the Aortic Dissection, every hour mattered because the blood pumping is a serious condition that tears the inner layer of the body's main artery which in her case started just outside her heart and by the time we got her to the ER that Saturday is was ripped down toward her stomach region. We contacted Banner to make a claim, who pushed it to Rad Partners. The risk manager had to be pursued by me over many months, which to me meant there was no investigation, only an email saying we did nothing wrong. I have handled claims, risk management and litigation for a good portion of my career, so this is an area I am very familiar with. The family has decided not to file litigation, which we could do next month and toll the statute to continue pursuing. Our mission was to preclude others from going through a similar experience, and so instead, we chose to leave this review and remember all the good she brought to our lives.

Great experience! Very short wait. No lines! Nurse who called my name introduced herself and explained the procedure. Procedure was very quick! Out the door in about 15 min. Great experience!

Went here to get a CT Scan. Everyone was so nice. I had an appointment and I got there at the designated check in time, got situated and didn't even take a seat and they were calling me back. Was the most efficient process from the beginning to the end. I was really impressed. I would definitely recommend going here for all your imaging.

Making the appointment was easy, check in was easy, short wait time, staff very nice and polite, images taken promptly, relevant information provided to me, great experience (probably should of gave 5 stars but I was reluctant to so i didn't).

I would highly recommend Banner Imaging. The staff are professional and polite, the wait times are reasonable. staff explains what they are going to do. they ask if you have any questions, I've been to both imaging places Dobson and East Mesa have not been disappointed in either..

Efficient, comfortable, courteous and fast. Just a few (less than 5) minutes between x ray and ultrasound. I was astonished how quickly the whole process was.

This facility is spacious and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and the check-in process was quick even as a walk-in. The x-ray technician obviously loves her job and is good at it, highly recommend this place

Out of all the different places I been to Banner Imaging East Valley (in my opinion) were very caring people. I totally trust the Imaging facility. If you need help with any disabilities they will help you, cause they are caring and trustworthy.

Note... entrance is on west side of building Nice experience. Appointment went quickly and smoothly with no extra waiting. Issac the technician was quick and professional. Large clean waiting room with some shade tree parking Beware Google maps might lead you to the banner child care facility which is just east of imaging center

I genuinely had a great experience here. Banner Health Imaging has to stand out as one of the most helpful imaging services I've encountered. Overcoming almost a year of hesitation due to PTSD linked to a challenging MRI experience, the teams at Banner Health went above and beyond during all three sessions. Their efforts transformed what was once troubling into a calming and relaxing environment, being very positive, caring, listening, and informative every step of the way. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility for all your imaging needs, I know it is going to be my place for all my imaging needs. Thank you so very much!!!

Thank you Banner health for giving me a assistance in a frightening experience I have with MRIs. I am very claustrophobic and was treated with kindness and care from the front desk to the time they walk me to the door I want to thank each and every employee that I came in contact with I have appreciated the fact that they did not push me to go in before I was ready, thank you’ve been your health. I will recommend you and use you whenever necessary. May I add the place was very clean.

Had MRI. I am claustrophobic. Technician was very nice and understanding. Placed cloth over my eyes and that helped a lot. She talked to me during the procedure. Got in fast and out fast. It’s the only place I will ever go for imaging in the future!

During a recent mammogram, Banner Imaging injured a muscle near my shoulder (armpit area). I heard a pop during the exam and woke up the next day with a non-functioning arm. I spoke to the office manager who put me in touch with risk management. I had to pay for my own MRI because insurance wouldn't cover it. All I asked was they pay my $100 copay for an MRI. 3 months later it still hurts, but is much better than before. I heard back today and they claim that my injury was not their problem. Be careful of Banner Imaging. I have never had an issue with my shoulder before visiting them. I will not be using them again and I recommend you think hard before visiting them.

I’ve had quite a few visits to this location. Today I was having a very hard time due to my health issues. The young lady that placed my IV, and assisted, me was very kind and understanding. She offered me water and an ice pack and was very attentive. I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been here quite often. Sara stands out, as I felt so unwell and she made me feel cared for. God Bless this young lady!

Receptionist or who answered my call was very rude. I wanted to explain that somehow my doctor's office made two appointments for the same thing I had already had the checkup. She claimed I wasn't even in the system that I called the wrong place. Yet she saw my appointment and I was able to cancel day of. She asked me to stop talking so that she could talk. Just very rude
