What a find! It’s a complete experience. We started off by booking one night to check it out. I think we will stay for a few more days…. The artwork, unique spaces and classic setting are more than I ever expected. Great hosts, nice pool area, big screen movies, great music playing and so much more! We are already planning our next trip so we can come back!

I am a videographer and Toni and Jade have been kind enough to allow me to film a couple music videos at The El Pais. I love this place and every time I come back it is somehow better. You can see the passion the owners have for the property and it is reflected in how they have become a staple of the art community. There are so many amazing things I could list about The El Pais Motel but let me just name a few. Each room has its own unique theme (comic book, musicians, tropical, ect), there is incredible local art adorning every surface, the property is like a time capsule with amazing antiques from generations past, a deep and well maintained pool, the ability to show outdoor movies on a big screen at the pool, an outdoor and indoor lounge, and tiny homes that are so comfortable (I have stayed in the tiny home as a guest twice). It is such a unique space with kind people - I genuinely love it.

Her Park looks dated but it has been the most comfortable place to stay, by far in our 5 years of travel. Thank You So Much For Having Us Toni, We hope to come back some day.

Can I just say how cool this place is! It's a must stay if you are passing through. The owner is super nice and incredibly helpful and warming. Great service and they have great wifi. Nice pool. They are also a harvest host if you are on that platform. I couldn't recommend this place more! - Ethan and Brit - @nomadicnewlywedsadventure

Art Deco/mid century modern throughout eclectic RV spots, motel rooms, and vintage trailers in various states of renovation. Outdoor movies every night over pool, community lounge, small, close to town. First night half-price for #harvesthosts. We’ll stay again. #tiffinmotorhomes

We used Harvest Host to find this place for an overnight stay in the RV and loved the decorations. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Looking forward to the finished sites for future use as well.

Thank you for the awesome three nights here! Super fun little campground. friendly and helpful owner and everyone else on the campground. There is a small kitchen, livingroom, bathrooms and laundry. So everything you need plus a pool and sometimes an outdoor cinema.

Great 50s retro stop with our RV. A lot of antique stuff to look at that you don't and won't see anymore. Nice folks...

We just left El Pais with our travel trailer and 4 kids. We stayed two nights, but I wish we had been able to stay longer! Toni is so welcoming and has made such a lovely spot for travelers. You can see her love of vintage in every single item there...there’s a club house, games, coffee, pool, kitchen, washer/dryer...and you are made to feel very welcome to everything. There’s great music playing and just a friendly vibe about the whole place. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

This spot was beyond cute and fun!!! We stayed here as a Harvest Host member. Toni was great and helped us back in upon arriving. She’s got free range chickens that literally follow her around, it was so fun to watch!! We paid the $20 for full hookups and enjoyed the plus of being behind a closed gate at night. Definitely recommend staying here!

El Pais Is truly a little gem in Tucson. It is a wildly fun, cool and unique retro motel and RV campgrounds. The fun decor and mid century clubhouse and patio give a lot of great space for hanging out. I loved the communal vibe there, they even made a big Thanksgiving dinner for everyone! That was so great to me as I was traveling alone. It was nice to come down to free coffee in the mornings, and sit around the fire pit at night. Toni was so great, I honestly can’t say enough good things about her and her hospitality. Due to my evolving itinerary, my plans changed several times and she was so flexible and kind with me. She always responded with grace and nothing but the most friendly and helpful manner. She even helped me back my trailer in, as a newbie some thing I was a little nervous about. All in all this was a super fun place to stay and I would go back to Tucson just to stay there. Highly highly recommend it!

Situated in the Urban Jungle/Desert of Tucson in Arizona is a lovely little abstract of reality. Art lovers, retro philosophy, and psychedelia trippers, alike will rave over this retro refit of an old 70's motel geared towards the camper and RV crowd. The first thing you notice when you approach the property is the gated decor framing the gated entrance. But as you enter, the unusuality of this place begins to soak in. Several classic and rare vehicles parked outside the first few rooms to your right include an early electric car that would be right at home in 80's sci-fi films. And, the Wedge, a concept 2 seater that looks like it landed here from outer space. To your left, the once office now serves as the community clubhouse and hides the hotel's history and many retro surprises. The clubhouse opens to a seating area right out of a 60's or so night club. This leads into the facility's pool and poolside furniture resting beneath a projector screen wall straight from the drive ins of old. Every room is themed, and wild to see. And, we'll maintained to boot. Hand painted reliefs surround you straight through to the retro campers that the owners restore and rent. A few lots are kept waiting for your RV to hook up to, should that be the arrangement you make. Best suited for a party crowd that is rock and retro, a romantic getaway for two, or a New Year's Champagne toast by disco ball, not the best place for kids. But, pet friendly for well behaved companions. Definitely, worth the trip.

My husband and I stayed with Harvest Host. The owners have really done any awesome job with the common area and providing amenities. Everyone there was super friendly and the decor was so cool. Hope to be back and stay in the motel or one of the campers. Such a cool place!

From the get go we felt comfortable. Toni greeted us as we pulled in, showed us around and got us parked. I payed extra for full hook ups and endless amenities like free ice, laundry, morning coffee, eggs, the use of their bbq, swimming pool, fire pit and wood. Hung out around the fire with several others chatting for hours. love all the vintage memorabilia and vehicles all over the park. Everyone is just so relaxed there. Going back, probably next week on our way back to LA. Definitely my favorite camp ground.

Would have loved to see more but got in late and left early. We were told no space and the night before was given a response about staying longer "we'll see, if we like you and you like us" were the exact words, my daughter couldn't believe she actually heard that come out of her mouth. Sad and disappointed how people can judge.

This place was awesome! Toni and crew were very welcoming and accommodating. This place felt like a little retro safe haven. They had coffee for guests every morning, and fires every night. They even played movies on the big screen one night! Highly recommend if you’re going to be spending time in Tucson.

We booked a van site at El Pais on Hipcamp and had an incredible time. The Host Toni is incredible, the grounds and clubhouse immaculate, and the whole experience a trip. The night we stayed Top Gun was playing on the outdoor projector and campfire was warm. Would definitely book again next time we pass through Tucson in our camping vehicle.
