This was by far the best food I had on this trip of four Islands in the Pacific. The catch of the day, Mahi mahi, was so fresh. This was some of the best seafood I've had in a long time. The tuna sashimi was delicious! Please check this place out when in Tonga.

Scotch fillet, T-bone steak, Grilled fish were soft, juicy and mouth watering with every bite. Highly recommended at a place on its own. Road is rough getting there tho but all worth it in the end.

Where to start... Greeted at the door by beautiful smiling staff...and then the food! So delicious! I recommend the Tuna Capaccio. This unassuming and out of the way resturant is well worth the trip.

I had the mahi mahi in garlic butter which was succulent. The lobster wasn’t available (being the King’s birthday week). My seven dining companions ordered most fish dishes on the menu & the seared tuna steaks were a standout! BYO. Located a $7 taxi ride from the CBD. Don’t be fooled by the humble building - this is likely the best seafood destination on the island. Friendly staff and most dishes around the $30 mark - excellent value.

We had a lunch and a dinner here. Dinner hostess was very kind and thorough. Food was good/decent, probably best we’ve had on this island. There is no wi-fi, which is very common occurrence in Tonga.

I wanted seafood but they had run out of lobster and hakula puaka so had tuna instead and sashimi platters and carpacio and raw fish 'ota ika as starters with garlic bread. I would've loved to have more local food as an option like fried mei breadfruit to accompany 'ota ika etc. Would go back again to try the seafood I wanted. The others enjoyed their Pork the sauce was creamy and delicious and the carbonara. Staff were lovely and chef was friendly

Visited in November, my brother suggested their steak 🥩 so I brought my family over — Party of 10 last minute, no booking & they literally welcomed us with open arms, we had the best hospitality, customer service. My family was well taken cared off & I was sooo happy & satisfied with their food. They are literally thee best so far in the Kingdom.

Been to this Authentic Chinese seafood restaurant in Tonga twice in two days...steamed, wok-fried, deep-fried are all full of wok engergy. Skillful chefs (speaking Chinese + Teochew + Hokkien + Cantonese) and friendly Tongan ladies (English + Tongan).

An ok Chinese restaurant. Their main customers seems to be the local Chinese community and they all seem to when at the restaurant congregate in one of the private dining rooms making the atmosphere in the main dining room look empty and not so cosy. Food quality is good with reasonable prices. The reef lobster dish seems to be their trademark dish with very fresh and sweet lobster. Also seems to be the only place where you can get Tonga Lager beer which is much better than the other local beers.

Such a lovely authentic place. Whoever owns it really cares and it shows :) Super clean humble restaurant with a chef who cooks beautifully. The tuna carpaccio was so fresh and flavoured with capers and olive oil. Our T Bone steaks were Tongan size 😍 and super tasty, cooked perfectly to medium as requested. Profiteroles were pretty good too! And BYO which was great, with lovely wine glasses to use. Waitress was also very sweet :) Will definitely be back!

I ordered the mushroom sirloin steak with rice and it was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and the staff was very friendly. It’s a bit out of the way of town but it’s worth checking out!

Just had dinner at Chef Zero with 2 friends. They have a Facebook special. Wow the food was simply amazing. T bone steak cooked to perfection. The best meal we have had in Tonga so far. We will be back.

We had the pleasure to dine at Chief Zero’s restaurant on 06-12-23. Although located on the eastern end of town and modestly appointed, our meals were exceptionally good and Chef Zero was very attentive to all our needs. We had the fish of ‘the day’ with some salad and veggies. In addition to being fresh, the quality exceeded our wildest expectations. As seasoned travellers, and my partner being an exceptional cook herself,….we were thrilled to find this ‘hidden gem’. The price was very reasonable, especially given the quality of the meals. If you want any alcoholic beverages, bring your own. We will visit it again before we leave. Five star across the board. Satisfied customers from Canada.

Visited this restaurant back in February and I liked my meal. The staff was super friendly and helpful which I appreciated a ton. I went pretty early so I was the only one there at the time so it was quiet. Food was great quality and I enjoyed the experience! But huge thanks to the waitstaff who really made the entire meal a memorable one!
