A hidden Gem in Nuku'alofa. Heard a lot of good reviews about this amazing place. Went over there and it was beyond my expectations. The place is hidden in a lush Bush at Houmakelikao Village. The area is also known as 'Umusi. I went there to taste & buy Tongan Coffee, but I got more than that. The owner Pate took me on a tour behind the scene to see the operation. Just incredible. They have coffee plants too. Then the coffee & food. Oh yes! They have the - Pai Lu Pulumasima (cornbeef pie with taro leaves) Oh! so delicious. I bought all on the shelf. They also make local chips from local root crops & fruits. It's quite popular in Australia. They are the best & very healthy. Whilst I was there, they were testing a new product - KOKO MOKA, a combine chocolate of Cocoa from Samoa & Tupu'anga Coffee of Tonga. Man, they were yummy. Tupu'anga is one of the best Made in Tonga food products. Super friendly staff. A must visit for everyone. If u drive from Ma'ufanga Village by Apifo'ou College, keep driving until u pass the big TV station. There is a little sign post on the power pole before the last home on that road. U turn right on the rocky road for 100 yards.

Great coffee! Make sure to politely ask for a short tour of their coffee roasting facilities out back. Super cool.

Nice and quiet, but I asked if they had whipped cream for their scones, they said yes, but didn't. Coffee is good though

Interesting place to visit. We enjoyed seeing the coffee bean plants. The taste of the coffee was different but excellent.

Friendly response to friendliness, some available tea options, brownies had lots of cocoa... You feel like you're entering an industrial park, but inside is cozy. I recommend it. Fyi - A bag of the beans grown there is not cheap.

Went in on our last day in the Kingdom to grab some manioke chips to tke back. They make their own vege chips mixed mei, manioke, talo kumala etc and manioke on its own talo. They threw in a free bag for me and I ate it all in the car ride so so delicious Tupu'anga chips. Next time I will try out there cafe food it looked delish.

This is a bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. Coffee is delicious and if you ask you might get a tour of the roastery… Location and atmosphere are great!

This coffee is PHENOMENAL— I miss this place a ton. A bit hidden but so worth the trip! I tried it back in February and haven’t been able to stop thinking about their Lu Sipi meat pie! I brought back come of their coffee beans from my trip and I’m happy I did. Lovely staff, great atmosphere, and a great menu selection. They offered me their chips that they make in house to try and they were so good! I highly recommend this place.

Delicious coffee and cakes, great hospitality (staff and owners were very welcoming) and a lovely little cafe. It was so good that I had to take home some coffee, cake and some of their kumala and manioke crisps for the weekend :)
