This set of bike trails has a paved trail and unpaved trails that connect to it. The pave trail has both up and downward sloping segments; some of which are rather steep. However, I saw a 4-year-old on the trail doing well. The trail has people on bikes, many of them with children, and people walking. Everyone seem to be highly respectful.

In town with nephews and we drove over to Slaughter Pen trails. Between the varying terrain, set up similar to ski runs in that you've got Green (easy) Blue (challenging), Black (Extreme), and the features, this area made for an amazing time for the whole family. Every other rider was friendly and courteous; this felt like an amazing community to be apart of. From Slaughter Pen we were able to cycle to /from Bentonville and grab lunch. I cant wait to return; I dream about these trails!

Nice place for trails, evening walks, mountain bike trails and outdoor fitness activities . Trails are available for beginners, intermediate and advanced with special features including log rides, drops, jumps and a free ride area with table top jumps, bermed turns, and a wall ride. The Bentonville - Blowing Springs Tour is a ride featuring the Slaughter Pen trail system in Bentonville to the Blowing Springs trail system in Bella Vista. The ride is a mix of singletrack and paved bikeways through the beautiful forests of Northwest Arkansas.

Unbelievable trail system. Easy enough for a kid on a strider, challenging enough to keep BRAP boys in fullies entertained all day. All American is a must roll for everyone. If you like smooth fast downhills do not miss Jesse's Last Stand. I particularly liked Berm Creek, my daughter and I both loved the progressive drops in the freeride area.

Beautiful, shaded trails with native plants and flowers, including a fresh water creek. Great lil place to take your pup and enjoy a good walk.

We spent our first day on Slaughter Pen. Being new to the area, I didn't realize how massive it was. Has trails for all and, but going to lie for lost a few times. Yay trail riding apps to the rescue. Saw lots of great technical features and it had a fairly nice flow. Probably shouldn't start here if it is the first day or you're newer.. but we had a great time nonetheless. Ride on!

Pics show some of what you see riding up. This trail had been improved much from the last time we were here (3 years ago). It is so much fun. Many hang and just ride this. The beginning is straight out of town and some of the best. But don't be fooled there are many other great areas to fly on. Arkansas is doing a great job pulling in the tourist. Mountain biking focus is paying off!

So much fun and for every level. If your just looking for a nice paved trail to ride, there is that. If you want to have a little bit of fun but are not used to trail riding, there are plenty of green level trails. If you’re an expert and ready to do big jumps and take some risks, there are plenty for you as well. Everyone is very friendly. There are also bike maintenance areas complete with tools and bike pumps. Also, plenty of restrooms as well.

The equivalent of Disney for bikers. Any skill level will have a blast. The all American trail is the most crowded but still very fun for beginners. The castle is for sure for the advanced.

Want to have some fun!! This is a good place to play on your MTB. Lots of fun flowing downhills, good climbs, great features. Pay attention to trail level ratings and be ready for some good challenges on the black trails. The jumps and drops on some are the real deal. Professionally done and a must do if you are from out of town.

This place is AWESOME for mountain biking. There are several places I'm the U.S. that should be on your bucket list for MTB destinations. Obviously Bentonville is one of those places. Slaughter Pen is well marked and well groomed. And they really do have trails for everybody. Every kill level can have fun here.

I only dabble in mountain biking but this place seems to be the mecca of riding. Another great gift to the public to enjoy.

What a fun trail system!!! We like to park right behind Wrights BBQ πŸ– and go into trail from there. You can ride down to Crystal Bridges and ride under a huge steel spider that is super cool. We ride for a while then make our way back to downtown Bentonville where there is an endless supply of amazing patio restaurants to have an adult refresher after the trails. We absolutely love this town and highly recommend it if you like to have fun and be outside. Come enjoy this wonderful little town. It has big town amenities with a small town vibe.

One of the best trails I’ve been to lots of trails for all types. Very well maintained and thought through. A lot of construction going on and wasn’t able to utilize some trails however it still did not disappoint. It’s awesome that they’re adding more stuff. I look forward to going back.
