It was a beautiful day in a beautiful setting. The restaurants are lovely, and the food is good and quality. With the plus admission, one meal is included. The shops have quality and beautiful items, different from what you find in the markets. Prices are very high. We did not do any additional activities, even if some intrigued us. There was no time. For a whole day, we were not able to visit everything. The guide gave us the wrong information regarding the pictures. He told us to use the park cameras and that we would download the photos the next day for a reasonable price. Instead, you have to buy a photo pack at the entrance or online - at a gold price - before starting your visit. They give you a barcode to use in the park's cameras. The sad thing is the animals in captivity in tiny spaces. It is not acceptable. The jaguar looked mad. He kept making the same path back and forth as if he had lost his mind. A sorrowful scene; I couldn't stop looking at it. And idiotic people were making noises, growling as if to provoke him. Unacceptable. Such wild and large animals need bigger spaces and more care. The same for the dolphins forced to swim with screaming kids in an environment where everything booms. In 2022 we should be able to have fun without making animals suffer. Overall it was a good experience—the truly enchanting final show.

A full day of fun and adventure! Definitely make plans to spend the entire day here! Review the website or download the app so that you can study the map and plan your day properly. If you're interested in swimming in the underground rivers, it's better to head there first and start your day. They have lockers where you can store your belongings or you can pack them in a travel bag and they will send your belongings down the river to meet you at the end. It's really convenient that way so you don't have to walk all the way back to the start of the river in your wet clothes. There's lots of animals to see, including the tropical birds, and a butterfly exhibit. Lots of tasty food options as well. If you are a hotel guest, you get one buffet meal included per person per day at this park. Noon to 1p seems to be a busy time for eating, so try to go before or after if you want to avoid a long wait. The gift shop is huge, definitely plan time to spend there if you're looking for gifts. At 6:00 p.m., most of the park shuts down and everyone starts to head to the open Auditorium for the evening performance. You won't want to miss it!

An experience not to be missed. No matter where you stay in Mexico, plan a day here. Arrive early and stay until the night show is over. I paced my day starting with water activities: 3 rivers and the beach. One river was a bit hard because you exercise way more. That river is the Manatees. Don't worry about a locker, your belongings are sealed and locked for these activities, no extra charge. Do stay with your group or determine a meeting point. The park has wonderful and easy paths, color coded. I bought the basic ticket and dinner for the show. Dinner was a 7-course meal with beverages. Pricing at the park is comparable to reasonable restaurants in the US. You can use dollars inside the park at the best exchange rate I saw in Mexico. Shows are spectacular. The setting is magical and you need to see this. I visited the park on a weekday on early December, no crowds to wait for attractions so I maximized the use of the day. Plan ahead your route and make wonderful memories.

Such a great time, from the shows to the scenery to the food and the animals everything was awesome. There is so much going on everywhere you turn an animal, attraction, show, or ride its constant entertainment. The flamingos and parrots are beautiful, the flyers act is exhilarating, and the ruins are humbling. Definitely recommend multiple days to complete all the activities in the park. We only saw black, brown, and white paths, but there are also green, blue, and red. The butterfly enclosure and puma/jaguar exhibits were both very nice. I had a great time looking at all the animals and relaxing at the look out point. Fun for families and will last all day. Be advised the busses only depart the park two times in the evening 4PM and 9:45PM so be prepared to be there all day unless you want to spend a small fortune for a taxi.

This park is definitely one of the best - it is so large it can be overwhelming but I'd still encourage anyone to take their time, just maybe make a plan. There is a ton to see and a heavy emphasis on Mayan culture and flora/fauna. Some of the exhibit areas were really well done - the aviary reminded me totally of Jurassic Park. Nice expansive gift shop at the end - great for a leisurely browse if you like that sort of thing. Warning once inside the prices are HIGH.. we got a fruit drink type thing and it ended up being about $14 CAD. Would come back if I was in the area - tons to do and lots of nice places to chill out and relax, or go on more adventurous things if you want. One star off as I just can't get behind the dolphin enclosure areas.. just seems cruel and they swim around looking quite depressed until it is time to work. Not my favorite thing to see. TIPS: Wear comfy shoes Bring sunscreen Bring a change of clothes They have lockers for swimming activities Bring a water bottle (or a few)

One of the best ecological water park on the world, it can be expensive for a large family but I can tell you it’s well worth it. Arrive early and be ready to explore and swim, in addition book your activities, I recommend underground swimming and paragliding. Great food, amazing views but make sure check the best time to visit so you don’t get too much rain or heat. Bring water shoes (recommend mole skin as you’ll be walking most of the time on wet shoes and you don’t want to be in discomfort later on the day with blisters) and ecological sun block (buy it outside as it’s expensive at the park). Make sure don’t get drunk, (seen too many people doing it) you don’t want to miss all the activities and places to visit as you’ll have no time to waste. At night don’t forget to go to the stadium to see one of the best cultural and amazing shows of Mexico’s history, try to seat on the center to get an excellent view, if still hungry spend some money to get the dinner. Overall you don’t want to miss this opportunity to have fun, learn from the beautiful Mexican culture and eat amazing food while swimming in the caves, many activities and overall nice weather.

I would definitely recommend if you come with kids and with a full tank of energy. This park is a 12+ hour day of activities. There is lots to do and to discover but also keep in mind that you will have to buy lunch and dinner, so keep lots of extra money for the day. Also, a lot or should I say most of the fun activities like in water walking and snorkeling are extra. So visiting this park will definitely keep you entertained but can also leave a hole in your pockets.

This is really a one stop shop! Amazing wildlife, lush jungle landscape, the most beautiful river you’ve ever seen, Mayan ruins, great entertainment, caves, snorkeling, etc! We had so much fun. Very family friendly. We had lunch at the buffet and the food was great. Xcaret is the perfect place to go to hit a bit of everything without spending your vacation going from excursion to excursion. It’s pretty expensive but you do get to see a lot. You can definitely get it all done in one day if you don’t purchase the extras.

Absolutely a beautiful and joyful experience. There is no way to do everything in one day. We had the Plus ticket which included lockers, buffet choice from one of several restaurants and other plus access and activities. We got lucky with the perfect weather and a time when it wasn't overly busy. There is a huge parking area and parking is included. Everything is clearly marked and clean. When you present or get your new tickets the way into the park is clear and there are many employees ready to help you along the way with any questions. There are several colored paths you can choose to follow on the sidewalks as well as marked "road" signs. Stop and look at the large map posted to orient yourself and look at all the things you can see and do. There are several small shows, sites, displays, interactions to choose from. It's not possible to do everything in one day. You can also pay for add-on activities or purchase an upgraded ticket that includes added activities. We didn't and we still had time only to see maybe 1/3rd of this beautiful place. If you're interested, read about how this place got developed. It's fascinating. My advice is that you pick the paths and activities you want to accomplish roughly with leeway to stop here and there along the way when something catches your eye. One thing - always carry water. The place is huge and it's hot and you need to hydrate. You can buy bottled water and refill it at several marked stations throughout the park. I am posting some photos but honesty they hardly do this place justice. Yes, it's pricey but for the cleanliness, quality, safety, variety and beauty of this place we found it highly worth it and plan on returning.

I think entrance fee of $158 was too high. We went with a tour group and our price did include lockers and buffet meal which was good. I went with my husband and 25 year old daughter. Forget trying to snorkel in the lagoon. Way to many people. Though it was nice to cool off in the river, it took an hour for us to float from start to finish and I think I saw one fish. There is a lot to see, so we walked through all the animal exhibits first. Best attraction was the horse riding demonstration and the main live theater show which took us through the history of Mexico from Mayans to present day. That was a very good show. Make sure you bring lots of water if you don't want to buy it and waterproof case for your cell phone.

Amazing time spent here, I only wish we visited sooner as we tend to visit cenotes when we are in town. This place is huge. You probably will need to visit a 2nd day to truly get the full experience of everything this park has to offer. I was a little concerned as I had 3 people over 65 in my group, but we all had an amazing time. There was something to do for people of all ages. I highly recommend using the swim fins if you decide to enter any of the rivers, we choose not to use them, and we regret it later. Can't wait to come back.

Stunning resort with plenty to do, although additional activities comes with an additional price tag. Paid extra to swim with the dolphins and do sea trek. Long day with lots of walking, good food selections available, show at the end (7-9pm) felt extremely long after being there for 12 hours, however entertaining and worth seeing. Transportation included, picked us up from the hotel and straight back no issues. Staff are kind and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you can keep up with all the walking!

Had an incredible experience in Xcaret! Got there right at 8:30 am and left after the amazing 2 hour show at 9:00 pm. Lots to do and see! We only did the ‘free with admission’ activities and it was plenty! We are at the regular restaurants (no the buffet) and thought that prices were reasonable for a touristy park. Nice shaded paths to walk from various sites and activities. Our highlights were the lazy river and the shows. I do question the animals in captivity in particularly and dolphins and sharks. If I could recommend the owners to stop this part would be my feedback.

We visited this park on Christmas Day 2021. What a way to spend the holiday. This place is HUGE!!! I wished they had paper maps. There was a map you could download, if you had internet. We did not so we took a picture of the map and it was a pain to navigate! We felt like we spent too much of our morning being frustrated at the map and the confusing layout of the park. Once we figured things out we had a blast!! We floated down the river which was cool and went snorkeling. Seeing all the wildlife was amazing! The buffet was tasty and my drink was strong. We stayed until the end to watch the evening show and was not disappointed! You could easily spend days here and not see everything.

Amazing. Crowded but amazing. The dolphin experience was a great time and recommend it. Spend the extra $$ and get the primax package. You get more interaction with the dolphins and get to have them push you through the water! Remember to negotiate the photo price. We walked away and the person came back and offered $100 for all the photos. I feel that was a fair price. Speaking of photos. My wife and I loved the photo stations all around the park. It is so convenient and the photos turn out great (even though the branding carved in the rocks or posted somewhere in every photo feels a bit much). Tons of things to do there. Would take a few days to do it all at a reasonable pace.

Such a great park! It’s extremely beautiful and there is so much to discover and explore. The natural salt water pools and underground rivers were so much fun and amazing! It is pretty pricey but worth it. I definitely recommend!

A lot of fun but a little too expensive. Definitely go on a tour to get there so you can have access to go in earlier then the rest of the crowd. We did that and we ran straight to the rivers. If you Lolly gag and walk around taking your time you are going to run into a literal sea of people i by he rivers and that is going to take away from your whole experience. Unfortunately I’m not sure if it’s because of Covid but they are not giving you the option of snorkeling anymore. The first time i went was a couple years back and you snorkeled the rivers and that was great! Now it’s still beautiful but the fish are all gone and that takes some of the excitement away. Go check out the animals and try to go to the restaurant with the cave (forgot the name) that’s the best one! They have little shows around the park which are very cute and spectacular. And no Matter how tired you are at the end stay for the show at night. It’s fantastic amazing beautifully done. It’s well worth it trust me.

We paid basic fare on the website $124 per adult ages 12 and up pay as an adult, this was perfect for us so much to do(includes the main show @1700) MUST WATCH😍bet we didn’t even go through the whole park in 1 day. We traveled with 1infant 1toddler both free we were limited on the activities. My girls had so much fun they went for a swim, seen so many animals up close. Paid $100 to interact with dolphins 🐬 however my only complain is the pictures are through the roof in addition to the swim with dolphins these are the three selections 10 slides for $149 or $349 or all the slides photos $500 I think that is too much money and it’s upsetting. I couldn’t get a close picture with the interaction they have their own photographers and they are pretty much on the way. Everything else was great the staff was great, it rained on us towards the exit. We loved the experience and would love to come back.

The night show is a must... it was really spectacular. The day activities are fun as well, especially seeing some special animals and fishes. The inclusive lunch is tasty. You will need more time to go through all activities available. However as a nature person, i would prefer just to see the night show and spend the day in the ocean instead of in a water park. If you have kids and teens, this place is perfect to spend entire day.

Excellent park, there is so much to do and see, it's really an all day adventure! My top three favorites were the Butterfly Pavilion, the Aviary, and most of all, the river swim/float. There were so many great things to see, the ruins, turtles, manatees, dolphins, beaches, cemetery, village, etc. I liked the color coded paths, it made navigating the park much easier. In the Aviary, behind the glass, there are 15 bays and each one has a baby macaw in order from 1-15 days old. Most were filled when we visited. It was so neat! The huge stained glass ceiling in the butterfly area was incredible and you get to float under it on the green path in the river swim. The beach area was way overcrowded and not relaxing; next time, we will probably skip. The river was incredible and free! You don't need to pay for a locker, they have a bag that you put your stuff in and they bring it to the exit for you. We missed out on the show, bummer, but we will be back! We stayed at Xcaret Arte, which was an incredible experience on its own.

This park is incredibly fun and there are so many things to do. Get here early and you'll have an amazing time. I recommend doing some dry activities in the morning until 1 pm, then get into one of the underground rivers and it will take you all the way to the beach. There you can explore the beachfront and have late lunch at the sea-food restaurant. The food there is absolutely delicious and fresh. Also if you get seated on the 2nd floor you will have an amazing view. at night make sure to do to the show, it's really fun and very high quality

Stunning park. Truly a must-see if you're in the area. The sea turtle conservation efforts are heartwarming with tons of precious babies in well-attended habitats, swimming with dolphins and sharks, a cool cenotes experience, lots of happy healthy animals to see, and pretty decent food! The beach was crowded and sub-par, but everything else was so wonderful it didn't even matter. Highly recommend this excursion!

Heard so much about this place and it is INCREDIBLY AMAZING!!! Our tour guide was so organized and we got in and just had an amazing time from the moment we laid our eyes on this gorgeous place. We had the buffet and it was so good, I tried a little bit of everything and just wish i could have eaten more! The swim in the cave was incredible, albeit my anxiety was a little high swimming with 2 little ones, but there are guides along the way and lifeguards throughout the way. The scenery was beautiful but the most amazing part was the show at the end and the delicious food we were served during the presentation. I would love to come back here because we didn't even see half the grounds even though we spent all day here. Definitely recommend!! We had a 1 year old, 3 year old and 15 year old who all had a great, great time!

Absolutely outstanding experience. From the original booking to the hotel pickup, to orientation, upgrade of our tickets, scheduling the many activities and getting through the day, everything was flawless, well organized. The park was very clean. Food at the buffet was outstanding. All staff was very accommodating and helpful. Attractions were easy to find, you luggage was hauled for you while you were swimming across the park. Even non-swimmer did perfectly well. Life vests, water shoes, snorkels, waterproof camera holders, everything was available on site. The animal encounters were adorable. The end-of-the night show was spectacular, 2 hours long and educational. The 7-course gourmet meal was a feast for the senses. I can't say enough. This is a must-have experience.

Definitely a must see and an absolutely great experience! The underground river is a fun way to explore and travel, as there's checkpoints where you can stop if you want to leave early. It's a very big location, so definitely a lot of walking but it has different areas which are themed and offer different things to see. One of the best highlights and something you shouldn't miss is the show at the end, as they tell a great story about their past history and how their culture has evolved to what it is today.

exceptional, if you are in good physical shape I recommend doing the two water tours for adults, they are beautiful. There are lockers where you can leave your clothes, bathrooms and where to change your clothes. Take your swimsuit in the backpack for the water and be comfortable and dry afterwards. comfortable clothes and if you have water shoes. Nice experience and good food at the Mexican restaurant. You can't miss the afternoon show ... it's awesome

Wonderfully fun! Get the photo package it is worth it! So many fun activities to do, unfortunately not enough time to do them all. Looking forward to another visit in the future. We went early to avoid the wait, but there was a huge line behind us by the time we had our activities booked. Go as early as possible and book your activities right away before they fill up!

Loved it! Second time here and we will come back next year hopefully. It so big and there so much to do and see that you need more than 2 days to experience it. Their underground rivers are so much fun! I've swam with the sharks and with the dolphins, it was an exciting experience. The variety of wildlife that they have is incredible, some animals or birds I've never even heard of. They have so many delicious restaurants/buffets that are so hard to choose from. The jaripeo show was cool, but the night time show is always a great way to finish your day. It takes you on an exciting trip of the evolution of mexico through music and spectacular views. This place is a must, to come with your whole family!!

It was a very refreshing experience! A well maintained wildlife park. No funny smells (which is understandable if there was), fun exhibits, cute photo ops and cool activities to do! The final show was absolutely stunning! The lazy river however dint have tubes so it felt like a little bit of a work out. I would avoid if you don’t know how to swim because the support rope is discontinued in some areas. Im 5’3 and I couldn’t stand at any point. It does take all day to check out everything, so I suggest reaching the park early like around 9-10 AM. It definitely is a must visit! I highly recommend it! It can be a cute date idea and also a fun big group trip!

The Xcaret Park was an amazing place to visit. I highly recommend that all my family members and friends visit this incredible park, if they can. There is so much to see and do. I would certainly love to return and spend two days there. The food was so decious! The service was great. Employees were delightful. The show, Xcaret Mexico, was spectacular. The talented performers that sang and danced in that show were outstanding.

Absolutely beautiful and wonderful place to visit! The Espectacular was the best! It was something we couldn't do on our last visit but finally got to do it and it was so worth it! They are taking covid seriously and doing temperature checks consistently along with hand sanitizing even as far as to sanitize your shoe wear. Sanitizer everywhere throughout the park. No self serve buffet so to limit the spread of the virus. All staff were attentive and had extremely good customer service. I felt safe here, the food and everything was great!! Definitely a must visit place if in Cancun!

I would have given it 6 stars if I could. XCARET is what an entertainment park should be. It does not feel commercialized like Disney does. It has many local small vendors selling beautiful crafts and small items. The buffet by the ocean is rather good. So many things to do, including snorkeling in gorgeous waters, a chocolate making workshop, exploring indigenous traditions, cenote slides for children, lazy river, craft making classes, authentic Mayan ruins.

We visited here in November 2021 and it was a once in a lifetime experience. We were here for about 5 hours a probably experienced only about 20% of the park. There are so many activities that you can probably spend a few days just trying everything. We did a scuba diving experience where we went down about 20 meters and saw beautiful sea life. Make sure you stay till the live performances at the end of the day around 7pm. They did a wonderful job displaying Mexican culture and history. Please check out our YouTube channel, The Ecuadorian and The Persian for our adventures. All love!

What a beautiful natural park.!! Swimming through a cenot and underground river was fantastic. There are all kinds of attractions too. Make sure you bring wet shoes and and waterproof backpacks and other water gadgets to protect your stuff. Nice restaurants , rides and shows. We really enjoy the closing performance with a display of the traditional ball game back in the old time of the Mayans. Great costumes.

2-3 Stars. We are big fans of adventure and theme parks. We came here for the culture & experience and expected a little bit of adventure. However, there was almost none. The final show was excellent & food was pretty good! However, the rest of the park was super boring. The river swim was super super long and had no current & you couldn’t reach the bottom. They told us NOT to get fins. Fins were definitely needed. The snorkeling area is TINY and PACKED. There is absolutely nothing to see there—don’t waste your time. Their full face snorkeling masks were complete trash. This park is so huge it’s impossible to get back to your locker for any reasonable distance. For the price they charge, they could have included some snacks or water even? The animal areas are sad. There is one jaguar, barely any birds and a few butterflies. It was kind of crazy. I mean; you might like this place if you’ve not done much, but there are many better parks and experiences to try—including their sister park—Xplor. Much better experience.

Enjoyed the swimming under the caves as the water was a cool treat from the hot weather. Only thing I would change is they should have someone there pacing the guests in so not so over crowded when in and trying to swim. The butterfly garden was relaxing and pretty nice. The show at end of night was very good but the 7 course meal as well as buffet during the day was not worth the money.

Many things in the park are worth the wait. One of the main features, it took us 60 minutes to complete the zip lines. The road to start is short, but lines also form along the towers where a ramp stops, then you walk upstairs to continue to the next ride. Swimming in the underground river is a unique experience, even for those who grew up in the area. The ATV ride was great, but I don't think we'll do it again.

Suitable for all aged visitors, you can see quite a few tropical animals. Take the black line and then switch to white to see the terrestrial animals or blue to see sharks/dolphins. We paid extra for the interaction with stingray and it was very nice! The underground river swimming is really hard for people who don’t know how to swim. Great Mexican cultural show at the night. You can easily spend a full day here, so plan ahead and arrive early.

Loved this park and cannot wait to go back! It was adventure, culture and sooooo much to do. I definitely needed to stay for a few days but I went as part of a cruise excursions and it just wasn't enough time. My guide Javier was AMAZING! He's so kind and helpful. I love their idea for a picture package, but I wish that I would know where they would be so I can prep. Lots of my pictures were no good but still a phenomenal experience. Already planning a trip in the next few years to stay longer.

experience shouldn't be missed. Arrive early and stay the whole day. I started my day l with water activities: 3 rivers One river was a bit hard because you exercise way more. That river is the Manatees. Don't worry about a locker, you will get free locker, no extra charge. The park has wonderful and easy paths, color coded. We bought the basic ticket it include lunch only once and can't enter restaurants twice at the same day. Please note that every attraction need ti pay extra, for example speedboat or swim with dolphin.... and many other activities you meed to pay lot of extra money. The free tour most for families, and it more relaxed, for more then need to pay. We went to explore(couple) and it was more Fun:) May was not crowded to wait for attractions so I maximized the use of the day. Plan ahead your route and make wonderful memories.

We went there with a tour and bought the the tickets in advance. However, you will still need to wait in line to add the photo package to your ticket (I think we could have save the 30 minutes if there was an option to add the photo package when we purchased the tickets with our tour guide). Still, we had a great time at the park. The underground river is a must! (Make sure you bring your water shoes). They have a very well designed facility so it is pretty much hassle free. There are many different animals to see. Also, they have a lot of restaurant options to choose from. We tried the El Manglar restaurant and we really like it - great view and food!

Very nice place, very enjoyable, really tropical jungle. But if you are a family of 3 or more then prepare yourself to spend at least 1000 $ to use all activities. We had xcaret plus admission which we were told by the agent who sold it to us is all inclusive, you don't have to worry as all activities are included:)))). Yes it was all inclusive but not what was the most enjoyable activity. The only advantage was that we had free lockers and one lunch which included one beer per person. Rest activities were chargeable and cost loads $$$. We come from Europe and this was quite surprised regards to how this place is expensive.

Very clean and beautiful natural environment. The part where the birds are is very beautifully designed. Be sure to try the part where you can wear a mask and see the fish underwater. But if there were more colored fish, it would be more attractive.

It was a blast. Not much people and the weather isn’t crazy hot. I enjoyed the blue river the most. The Avery and butterfly sanctuary were so beautiful and the cultural night show at the end were so breathtaking no wonder they why they say it’s spectacular. I just wish that they let you eat at least twice with a xcaret plus ticket but I get it, there so many things to see and do in this park for the price of the ticket so it’s so worth it. Will definitely come back again next time.

Did not stay for the night time events, unfortunately, since we had other plans but the full day was amazing.some of the wildlife wasn't out at the time due to some habitat remodeling, and we were a little bummed that we couldn't do the river cruise due to high water levels, but there was still so much to do. I recommend you check the schedule to see what cool workshop are being presented in the Mayan village. There is so much to learn and enjoy there.

All day fun and activities. Amazing can't begin to describe it. Even the park itself takes measures to maintain the beauty of the land and culture. Anytime I return to mexico, I will be coming back. Pricey, but loved every second.

Very large all day activity. The food was really good and the people were friendly. Lots to see and do. We did the xtreme boat ride. A must do. We also did VIP at the evening show. The food wasn't very good but the show was entertaining. In Cancun put this on your list

Not enough time in a day to explore this huge park. Very family friendly with themed areas such as Mayan, art, dolphins and animals. I absolutely recommend it. We enjoyed the lazy river, which was done in life vests. You have options along the river and with your bracelets to take photos along your way, capturing the excitement and moments of pure bliss along the way. My 6 year old loved this and wanted to go back in. It took 1.5 hours to finish the river. There are additional adventures you can pay for outside of the entrance park fee which includes swimming with dolphins and the sea trek which allows you to go underwater and see all the creatures below.

Beautiful, relaxing covid getaway. Xcaret has covid safety protocol. I bought the package that includes food, I highly recommend it. The food choices were really good. I would recommend the bag instead of the locker you will receive your items at the end of the underground river journey. It's better than the lockers. snorkeling they give you the gear it goes thru a sanitation process. We recommended the picture package you get good photos. The show is a must see don't miss it. You will enjoy this park.

Really fun time with so much to do, make sure you get a good night's rest the activities and things are amazing. There is so much to do and see that 1 day isn't enough. Swimming through the rivers to snorkeling and seeing all the recreated culture of the Mayan. The Aviary and butterfly pavilion was also really neat to see. There are also a ton of other upgraded things you can do but the do come with a cost.

Awesome place couple of tips, if you plan on staying for the show at the end of the night, purchase the dinner. Its worth it. Great seats but get the second or third row to get a better view. Also if your going to this park, prepare to walk and go to the show.

This place is amazing and worth every penny. Went as a family with my two teen kids and it was all amazing! So many great things about this park. The service amazing. The staff amazing. The park amazing! Additional activities amazing! The transportation amazing! I will definitely come back!!!

  • 5/5 Angela C. 2 years ago on Google
Worth the money! You honestly need more than 1 day, but if that's all you got, don't load up on the activities. The river is an event in and of its self. Take your time and float. The Xelfies package will be the best money you've ever spent, and will help you create lasting memories. Also, if you were thinking about purchasing a water proof camera, now would be a good time. It's going to be a long day, but you have to stay for the show! It is spectacular and transcends any potential language barriers. I will definitely be back!

Super friendly, very clean, fun and a great location. We snorkled on the beach of the resort and saw alot of tropical fish and two stingrays. Highly recommend this resort. 12 restaurants with excellent fresh food. Well worth the money!

Spent a week here and still didn't see it all. Three underground rivers, huge kids area, a few cenote, lots of Mayan ruins. I loved the Mayan village, the older lady (Magdalene at the wool weaving workshop) makes amazing handmade goods for purchase. The man who makes artwork by hand with beads in great, so much passion into his work. No way to see this place in one day, it is impossible to run around and even try. The night show is spectacular, from the walk into the seating of the arena to the moments of the final bow, it was non stop artisan artwork. Fantastic singing, horsemanship, dancing, its telling the story of Mexico in a way that has you feeling invested by the end. Any words and reviews are absolutely going to be so short in comparison to how amazing this place is. Comfortable shoes are worth having, small backpack to chance clothes and water shoes are a plus. Snack food stalls were great, never had time for the restaurants. You name the aquatic animal and you can probably swim with it, sharks, dolphins, turtles, manatees, stingrays, and tropical fish.

If you are visiting Playa Del Carmen or Cancun, this is a MUST TO DO activities. There are so many things that you need 12 hours to finish all those. Water activities. Cultural activities. Archeological sites. Buffet: 5 big restaurants. Animals. Night show. Point to be noted: buy plus admissions. This will save your money, time and provide more options. The buffet is toooooooo good.

  • 5/5 Ben C. 2 years ago on Google
Loved it. So many exciting things to do. The river cavern itself took several hours. Learn how to do the wrist strap scans to get some awesome photographs using the parks cameras. We could easily have spent another day at the park without all the add on adventures.

Our first time here and such a beautiful park, so much to see and do. The buffet was amazing with a large selection to choose from. We had the plus admission which included lockers and a lunch buffet. There are Mayan ruins on the grounds you can explore, animals, water activities ect. A must see for sure, and the people were all very friendly and helpful.

I have to say that this park is amazing for any age people, kids, adults, seniors and whoever wants to go, if you are in cancun, riviera Maya or tulum, this is a must go place, you can't leave without going to this park, the place is filled with culture, amazing places, a lot of different activities, the beaches are expending, the service of the people who work there is above a 5 star hotel. everyone is eager to help, happy to help and their attitude is fantastic, you have 5 restaurants to go have lunch they are all buffets, but make no mistake, the food is delicious, is its very fresh and everything is well cooked with A+ products, they have a show that starts at 7 pm and it's just mind blowing, the quality of costumes the live music, and the acting is just superb. easily one of the best spectacles I've seen. we left Mexico very happy and willing to come back, because the hospitality and great service the people of that beautiful country. I can go on and on but I will fall short, this is absolutely a must go ! you will not regret it.

Had a lot of fun here! But, heads up, you have to pay additional money to do a lot of the adventures on top of the 100 dollar entry fee. The park itself is huge and the beach is awesome. There are 3 underground rivers to float through. The ending show is worth going to for at least the 1st hour. After that, it gets a little repetitive. Overall good time and very pretty.

Amazing park definitely one of my favorite from the others. From swimming in salt water rivers thriving with ocean life or relaxing by the beach & drinking your giant margarita to playing with the animals Xcaret offers so much . Don't forget to stay and watch the shows everything is so beautiful and the food 😍 oh man delicious. We stayed at Hotel Xcaret Arte so we came back twice to the park as its huge. Definitely check it out . Oh...BRING WATER SHOES YOU WILL THANK ME LATER . ✌️😁♥️

If you are looking for a thrilling rides, this is not a place to visit. But it is an excellent experience with a lot of activities. Come early and purchase tickets ahead of time to save on time and cost. We had the Plus package, and the extra costs are completely justified with having access to lockers and complimentary meal. One of the gems of the visit is a mid-day Papantla Flyers show. They also repeat their performance during evening show, during a day you are right next to them and the view is significantly better. The evening show is a must. The first part, dealing with historical events is OK, but the second part is a blast. It is much longer, and seeing how the park guests support entertainers from their state is exciting. Get there early to get better seats. Do not seat too low and the view from a higher vantage point is better.

Amazing!!!! Worth every penny. So beautiful and nicely done water park. Make sure to stay for the final show, I'll recommend paying for the dinner service while you watch the show. Bring a towel, water-shoes, a change of clothes. There are locker rooms so that helps. Distances are far, wear comfortably shoes. Be strategic, water activities earlier in the day and other stuff later. Enjoy the awesome food!!!!!!

  • 5/5 N M. 2 years ago on Google
Definitely a go to place. Don’t necessarily have to pay for premium to get dinner if u are big family as u can buy a normal meal for around 15 dollars and don’t need a locker as they give u a bag FOR FREE before u jump in a under ground river. U can get your own snorkeling mask and save like $40 dollars per person. They do provide safety jacket for FREE. Overall good experience and definitely recommend to all !! They have different programs throughout the day , different locations different times so just make sure to choose which one u wanna attend. U can feel like u will get lost but maps all over as well so u should be just fine 😊

Was a lot of fun! I thought that they'd have more animals considering the location but I can find the same kind of animals but probably more quantity in my own local zoo. But I did enjoy the tunnel rivers. I definitely recommend this place and would love to go back again and do more things. Plus the show at the end was AMAZING. Absolutely loved it!

We had a wonderful experience here. As a mom of teenage boys, I was worried that it might be too "young" for them. It was not. They loved the aviary, butterfly pavilion, the folk art grave sites, Mayan ruins and underground river activities. The XCaret "Spectacular" was indeed spectacular about the history of Mexico and its regions. Great music, dancing, and artistry. The restaurant was also excellent. We loved it!

The experience for my wife and I was amazing, more than an amusement park, it's an actual natural preserve. The shows were amazing, the food was excellent, the service from the staff was outstanding, and the final show from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. alone was worth the entire cost. If you were thrifty, there are ways to save money. You don't have to eat at the expensive restaurants, they have snack bars and coffee bars throughout the park. You could always bring food with you, they don't check your bags. I would definitely go back, excellent experience for the whole family. For my wife and I it felt like we were visiting Jurassic Park, the abundance of wildlife was amazing. It's a must do at least once in your life.

  • 5/5 Emmanuelle L. 1 year ago on Google
There are not enough words to express how amazing this park is and I didn't even explore the full park as I was with my mother who was hesitant to do some of the water activities. Yet even my older aged mother loved the park. Most importantly do not miss the show. It's a long wait if you get there early but it's definitely worth it. I can't wait to go back.

We came on May 9th and had an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Javier, was excellent. I am so glad I could see so many animals and natural foliage. I also loved the diversity of the facility. The Mayan River Float was almost surreal. The stained glass, the bats, and the mangrove forests were phenomenal. I also really enjoyed the coral that you had in the aquarium, and the aviary. Honestly, I am so glad I came here and am looking forward to eventually coming back again.

Xcaret is a beautiful nature park with natural rivers which visitors can enter going along the park, you can visit and swim with the dolphins, see an attraction with various animals, and go snorkeling. You can also eat at several restaurants located in the park with various options to choose from, including authentic Mexican food or seafood buffet international style food. You also have the option to watch a show regarding the history of Mexico and how different regions in Mexico celebrate their culture to dancing and mariachi. It is a great show to watch and you can have the option to choose dinner which is served while you watch the show. NOW TO THE CONS! My biggest disappointment with the Xcaret experience is how I felt the marketing made it seem like the rivers were like lazy rivers but no you have to actually swim quite a distance (life jackets are mandatory for everyone). That caused me to tire out pretty quickly. Another issue is how much walking is involved between point to point. I think they should think of implementing tram cars with stations to be picked up from point a to b or a monorail station. I believe that would greatly improve the experience for visitors. Also add more fans in the theater as it was extremely hot after a day of being in the sun and walking the park, I was excited to sit to watch the show but then quickly became irritated due to how hot and humid it was. Overall great experience but I believe needs improvement on park navigation via drivable trams or monorails.

Great place for all, kids, adults and grandparents. We have actually been there twice. So much to do and see. Plenty of shops and food. Make sure you stay for the evening show it's awesome! Have dinner at the buffet and watch a great horse show! two things you shouldn't miss!

I can't say enough about this place. There is so much to see and do for all ages. There is a lot of walking so I would suggest comfortable shoes and if you intend to do the water activities I would bring water shoes because the reefs are very sharp. They let you bring in your own food and drinks as well as your own snorkeling equipment. I would suggest doing this if you are on a budget because the food drinks and Equipment can get quite expensive. Another thing I would suggest is to make sure you take a lot of your own pictures. A waterproof camera would be a great idea. The picture packages are also quite expensive.

Wow, what an amazing place this is....I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was not disappointed in the least! We arrived a little later than we wanted but packed in lots of fun regardless. They really put a lot of effort into making this place beautiful and really special. It's organized well and easy to get around from one activity to another. There really is an endless list of things to do, so PLAN AHEAD on what you want to maximize your time and experience. We did the boat ride, water caves, aquarium, buffet, and late night show. We took the ADO bus in from Cancun and was a bit over an hour - (important to note that if you are taking the ADO bus to the park to book your tickets well in advance as we were unable to get tickets until later in the day 😒 When we arrived we took the free park shuttle from the highway to the main gates ) (buffet - we got the tickets 2 weeks ahead online and upgraded to the one with the buffet. There are lots of buffets around the park that we came across. The food was eh not the best, not the worst, but it can be hit or miss with a buffet. There was a good assortment of food, so lots to chose from) (when we did the water caves, we put our bags in the water bag option and our stuff was at the end of the caves about an hour in the caves and water) I would also recommend snacks and drinks as the prices here for those things are typical of a theme park and expensive. The aquarium was nice and on route we got to see some other attractions and wildlife. The show at the end was really well done and gave you a history of Mexico. It was entertaining, musical, educational, and full of color and action. For this, we did the early show at 530pm, which was nice as all the park activities ended at 6 pm. Our show finished around 730pm. When we left we took the free shuttle back to the highway and waited on the side of the road for a collectivo which is a white van that comes by often and that took us to Playa del Carmen. It is fully crowded and packed up, so be prepared. It cost us 20 pesos each and was about 15 min into Playa del Carmen from the park. Then, from Playa del Carmen, we took another van to Cancun that was over an hour in a really packed van again for 45 pesos each. Those run on a 24-hour time frame, so staying and checking out Playa is an option if you are not in a rush to get back. Here are some things to know: *Book park tickets online *Bring photo ID *Bring snacks for the day *Upgrade to package with meal *Book your travel ahead, especially with ADO *book the early show if you are traveling further than the on-site hotels

Disappointing on a cloudy day. Some of the hands-on activities were closed (chocolate workshop, coconut workshop). Because it was chilly we didn't do the water activities. We wanted to see some shows but the schedule was not on the app, so we missed the flying men. Then the horse show was super crowded. We left before the main show because we got tired of the crowds. Some of the exhibits are unique and interesting: real Mayan ruins, manatees, caves, birds and the beaches are nice. We did the river boat ride, it's short and could be enjoyable but we were crammed into a boat with an unhappy baby and a loud family that tried to calm her.

😠 YOU CANT GO TO THIS WITHOUT A DAY PASS TO THE ENTIRE ADVENTURE PARK. you can't just go to this. It's part of the entire xcaret park. So it's super expensive and not worth it financially if you just want a quick aquarium only trip
