My family visited this hotel on the way from Blore to sirsi. It's near kyatasandra junction service road. We ordered thatte idli as many said it's yummy. Thatte idli was fluffy but that wasn't great as said. They have maddur Vada, mini dose. uddina Vada was very crispy and tasty we enjoyed it. Its an old hotel but they have maintained cleanliness. Overall it's good but hyped too much about thatte idli.overall You can stop over if ur passing by this hotel and must try their uddina Vada.

Though this place is popular for its thatte idli, I found it nothing special and maybe just above average. I think its just a hyped up place and you can find better idlis in and around Bangalore. The dollop of butter that came with idli had no distinctive taste, unlike the butter you get in other idli hotels. Vade was crispy and was good. Masala dose (mini) was ghee roasted and was crispy, but had very little potato palya. These are served with chutney and sambar. The chutney was spicy (and good), while the sambar was sweet, maybe to balance the spice of chutney. Sambar also just had tomato and onion, and no other veggies. Filter coffee was good. The service was quick. Food - 3/5 Service - 4/5

SUUUPERRRR IDLIS. Definitely worth a visit if you’re travelling long distance on Tumkur Road. They prepare very soft and delicious idlis. The vadas are damn crispy and hot. Dosas are pretty decent but not that great, so order carefully. During breakfast times the place is over crowded and strictly self service is followed. They provide unlimited sambar and Chutney so make it a point to visit this amazing breakfast place. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

They are famous for three items on the menu. I recommend you try all three of them The Mini masala dosa , thatte idli+ vada and lemon rice. Don't forget to ask for dollops of butter. The froth on top coffee is a must! Serving since 1986

Even I found it to be over hyped in terms of food. Taste was normal. But quantity is more . Price is not too less as told by few. It's reasonable and up to the market. Parking in front road. People travelling from Bangalore have to be attentive in taking the cross road as there is construction going on. The next turn of missed the first one, would be away on 4 kms.

Visited this eatery at 11am on a weekday. It was not crowded. To my bad, I did not get hot thatte idlis that reduced its quality and taste. Chutney was good. Sambar was OK. Service guys were polite and ready to serve customers. We can pay in advance for the food tokens or we can also sit, order, eat and then pay. They also allow customers to step inside the kitchen area and take a look at the food preparations. My verdict on the food savored here: Thatte Idli - 2/5 Vade - 3/5 Sambar - 2/5 Chutney - 3/5 Masala Dose - 2/5 Chitranna - 2/5 Tea - 3/5

Nice place. I loved vada and dosa more than idli strangely. Idli was good but not that i have never tasted before, it was just normal idli. I loved the samabar and chutney they were quite fresh. But vada was lit 👌 so crispy and fluffy.. dosa was equally good (again not great just good). Coffee was below average. Quality wise absolutely good no complaints. What they have to really improve is the token system, at first when you go inside it is not evident if it is self service or they serve you at table. I found out that there are both service options, i opted for self service as that's the quickest way to get. I loved the fact that sambar and chutney are kept on each table, pour as much as you want 😀 On weekdays it might get crowded, i went on weekday and i found a table for myself

This is right in the edge of the highway onto Tumkur. The place is small and full of people to the brim. So you might expect some wait time to be served. The idli is flat, fluffy and soft. You can add the optional butter if you want (In my opinion it’s worth it) and pair it with the tad spicy chutney. I wouldn’t call the best idli I have had so far but it’s definitely good.

Thatee idli and with Vada was served hot. Chutney and sambar as nice. If you need extra in each table there is a jug full of chutney and sambar.

One of the cult idli places on NH , the restaurant is clean and serves food in a typical way ; Jars of chutney and Sambhar are kept of each table for self help. The soft idli are aAmazing to look at and melts when had with thr tasty chutney and sambhar. The Vada’s add to the completion of the traditional tasty breakfast.

If you are looking for an authentic idly with chatni then this is the place. Best place to stop for breakfast on the way to hampi or Pune. It's very near to tumkur and i feel it's something very famous among the locals. Very difficult to find a space in the morning breakfast time but you will love the wait once you have the idli with a cube of butter at the top served in a very traditional way.

This place is a hit for ages, i have been visiting this place from more than 10 years, especially when travelling via tumkur, a pitstop is must, they provide Tatte idly which is the most popular signature dish here and other items like masala dosa, vada, filter coffee is excellent and loved the most, must try tatte idly and filter coffee, the restaurant is always crowded and need to wait typically 10mins to find a table, service is fast and good, have got restroom facilities on first floor, they don't have parking space exclusively no valet parking facility but the security will help you in getting a parking space, unfortunately the restaurant doesn't accept upi or card payments but only cash.

The hotel serves tasty thate idlis and vadas. You also get mini masala dosas and other regular south indian snacks. Coffee & Tea are also served. The items are reasonably priced and the hotel staff try to serve you as fast as possible. The hotel is located right at the entrance to Siddaganga Mutt entrance at Kyatsandra near Tumkur.

Place is packed when visited at 2pm, there’s also waiting for this restaurant. Many of the Tumkur residents do not recommend this place, but this still ends up being one of the most popular places close to the highway and serves Tatte Idli. Coming to Idli, it’s good, the chutney and Sambar is slightly spicy, they use a good amount of Red Chillies. They also have benne / butter which is an Ad-On. It reminded me of Bidadi Tatte Idli Vada. Vada was also good, crispy and freshly prepared. I prefer Bidadi Tatte idli over this one, as here it’s quite evident that it’s just more spice in Sambar and Chutney. Coffee is also not that great, the filter did not seem freshly made. Atmosphere is decent, they have posters of famous Kannada actors. The washrooms don’t seem clean. Not sure why they cannot maintain clean washrooms. Regular cleaning would be helpful. Parking is currently a little challenge as there’s Some work going on.

Good place for Thatte idli fans.... Located on highway.... So many travellers visit here. Prices are bit high. They charged 70 rs for 1 idli, Vada and butter. Tried lemon rice (chitranna) it was good too Very much crowded always.

My recent visit to Pavitra Hotel in Tumkur left me with mixed feelings. While the food's taste was average, the quantity was generous, just as advertised. However, the prices, though reasonable, didn't quite match the hype I had heard. One notable concern was the need for improved cleanliness. It's an aspect that could significantly enhance the overall dining experience. Attention to hygiene is crucial, especially in the food industry. Parking arrangements in front of the hotel were convenient, but travelers coming from Bangalore should exercise caution due to the ongoing construction. Clear signage or guidance could prevent any confusion, ensuring a smoother arrival experience. The quantity-to-price ratio was satisfactory, making it a reasonable choice for a meal stop. However, it's essential for the establishment to live up to the market expectations, especially considering the varied feedback. In conclusion, Pavitra Hotel offers a decent stopover, but there's room for enhancement. If taste and hygiene are elevated to match the generous portions and reasonable prices, it has the potential to become a more compelling choice for both locals and travelers passing through.

Firstly it’s not a MUST… probably more hype around this place due to few vloggers.. yes if you’re around or transiting then can stop for quick breakfast.. dosa is too oily. Tatte idly not as soft as you expect. Only good item is the vada.. was disappointed actually, both food and ambience ..

Amazing idli place in Kythasandra. Thatte idli, with Sambar & Chutney, is simply amazing. Idli is very soft, and the size is just filling. The utter on top just enhanced the taste.Sambar taste is truly different, and so was chutney. Vada was very crispy and nice tasting with corriender, coconut pieces, chilies, etc. Unfortunately, the place is located and is hidden under the trees. Unless you know about this place, you will not be able to find it just like that. Also, with a lot of traffic, the bus stops right across, and it is easy to miss. But don't miss. Also, I had coffee and was very aromatic. The server brought a little bit of strong coffee on request. It is a typical small restaurant atmosphere, UT has a decent place to sit, and it was clean. Did not use the wash room to make any comments.

Good place for food. The location is always crowded with people. Very limited space for parking. Self service inside the restaurant. However they do serve to vehicles (not sure how and whom to be asked for this service). Prices are slightly higher side one may feel. But taste is next level. Idli was melting soon it was kept in mouth. Butter idly Vada - the thatte idly iterally just melts as you eat. Tastes very good. This place is usually crowded, however service is very quick. This is one of the must try thatte idly place in kyathsandra Tumkur

Visited this place for breakfast. The hype is too much for their tatte idle and dosa. We would get better tatte idle in other hotels compared to this place. They need to also put some more effort to keep the place clean.

Pavithra Idli Hotel is located on Tumkur Bangalore high way (on the service road) in Kyathasandra. Finding a parking a four wheeler during the peak hours can be difficult (there is no valet parking). There are few south Indian items on the menu. The quality and taste of the food items including coffee is not the same what Pavithra hotel was known for.

Nice hotel and one of the oldest hotel in tumakuru. The food is tasty and delicious. The cost is reasonable, it attracts a huge crowd and tourists. The best thing is because of its tasteness of food, the famous film stars like Dr. Rajkumar, Dr vishnuvardhan and many others used to visit whenever they travel in this way.
