standard cabins are not cleaned properly NOT GOOD! basic things of wiping and proper dusting lack and are cocktail for illness. During a pandemic these things should be dealt with thoroughly. I would sack cleaners or at least supervise the cleaning. Bring your wipes....just because u don't have my email or name didn't mean I didn't stay with a party of people ..clean your damn cabins use the reviews as feedback and stop making excuses .set up some quality control and stop taking people's money for dirty cabins

The location is beautiful, right on the river & set among the trees. However, the sites are very dusty & small. The cleaners need to learn how to thread the toilet rolls in the dispensers! At least 3 or 4 of the toilet cubicles have the rolls placed incorrectly, which makes them useless!!! Very frustrating! U can walk into town along one of the many shady walking tracks. Pretty expensive for powered site.

The grounds are well-maintained and the facilities are generally clean but could use some refurbishment. The campsites with river frontage are very heavily utilised and have little grass left. Not an observation of the park but be warned it's currently a very noisy town, with heavy vehicles running along the highway constantly all day and well into the evening, likely due to Snowy 2.0

A great Caravan Park but I must advise you that all reviews are not correct, we have just stayed at the Park and the allthough the Amenitie blocks have been renovated there is little attention given to all the cobwebs and spider's in the blocks, also the Camp Kitchen needs a full renovation especially the old and filthy BBQ's they are the oldest I have every seen in a caravan park. The trees are nice but I would advise you not to park under them as a lot of branches have fallen onto cars and caravans. This is why I can only give this park a one star rating.

We had a frustrating stay at Riverglades. The park itself is lovely with well maintained grounds and terrific sites right on the beautiful Tumut River and close to town. However, the staff (while very friendly) seemed disorganised. First we were directed to a couple of sites that were already occupied and then were allocated a site by one staff member and started to set up only to be told by another staff member it was already booked. So we moved to another site and then were told they had made a mistake and the first site was available after all. Shortly after that we saw another couple arriving having booked a powered site to find they were on an unpowered site. When we tried to access the facilities we discovered you need a key. We hadn’t been told this or given a key when we checked in and by this stage the office was closed. Luckily we were rescued by a kind neighbour who gave us their key to use but then the facilities were really dirty and smelled and looked terrible. This was particularly frustrating as after a week of camping up in Kosciusko National Park we had only booked into a caravan park in order to have a proper shower. We ended up swimming in the river to clean up instead as the toilets and showers were so awful. It seems a lot to pay for a unpowered site when the facilities aren’t up to scratch. There are many nice and cheaper Hipcamps and NP camps in the region. Hopefully we just caught the park on a bad day as the other reviews here are great. I’m not sure we would stay here again though.

This place was great. We stayed here for 4 days and the sound of the river was very calming. We couldn't fish sadly due to it not being the right season, so we just resorted to going to the nearby Blowering Dam. Some of the people are quite rude as on our last night we experienced racism from a couple of drunk men and they gave threats to one of my dogs as he was barking at them. Overall, 8/10

We were six families staying here in 5 cabins. My family stayed in a cabin that was so closer to the river. Nice stay here. We didn't cook here and stayed one night only. Pros: 1. Beautiful river view from the cabin 2. Clean cabin 3. Nice stay here 4. Good spa and clean bathroom Cons: 1. Main bed wasn't comfortable but manageable 2. Bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working We will stay again soon.

Best place to go as a couple or a family. Awesome service, great facilities, epic river and Tumut had everything you need for a relaxing time away, all in walking distance.

Beautiful spot next to the river. Very cold and swift moving river so good for a shallow dip. Careful with kids. Nice green grass and easy access. Gate was open and staff were welcoming.

We turned up late in the afternoon with no booking on a busy day and the guy on the desk was friendly and extremely helpful and found us what I believe was the last cabin! The cabin was very spacious, clean and comfortable at a very reasonable price. Grounds were lovely and easy walking to town.

Spent three nights here recently and was very impressed. Clean and tidy throughout, including the amenities. Nice shady blocks available with plenty of grass cover. They have some very large sites that can be a bit expensive.

We just spent 4 nights at this lovely caravan park. Very clean ammenities, friendly and helpful staff and a great location by the river. They even filled our our 9kg gas bottle, only $20, and delivered it to our site.

Amazing location on the river. Amazing hosts and managers who were friendly and accommodating. When you are at the snowys, visiting Tumut and staying at Riverglade is a must. Will definitely be coming back.

Just spent a few days in the Caravan. Beautiful park, shady, clean, friendly wildlife, kookaburras. My Only Gripe was being woken up just before midnight by the loud sound of banging bin lids, bottles. A Male on a pushbike was Rummaging through the Bins. I Felt a little unsafe.☹ He rode off as a few Caravan Lights came on!

Very beautiful area. Sites are good but they need marking out as some people tend to park rather close πŸ™„ Also drainage for grey water is blocked staff are aware stated just put it on the grass. Amenities are very clean. Overall would stay again. Power and Water hook up is $42 per night

My extended family and I have stayed here twice in the last two years. The location is fantastic and the range of accommodation choices is very good. This is also one of the cleanest and tidiest places I have ever stayed. We all enjoy our stays here immensely. I would highly recommend.

We stayed In the new family cabins with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very modern and clean. I definitely recommend these rooms as most other cabins were dated. Very nice location

Compared to other cabin stays 1. No bottle opener,2.. small or large fry pan..no middle size for two steaks 3. 2nd bedroom bedding removed ( don't trust us??), 4. Not a full sized stove no oven, 5. 2!!! Tea bags, cabin modern clean

I stay in alot of caravan parks but must say this one is exceptional! From when you check in to check out, staff are super friendly and the grounds and cabins are super clean. The scenery and location are stunning!

Cabin bedrooms very compact and caravan-like. Not very sound-proof as I could hear the neighbors flush the toilet. Location near the river and view of the river made up for the visit.

Great park with river frontage. We changed from a campsite to cabin at the last minute and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had cabin 17 it was a little dated and oldish, my brother was in cabin 24 this was a much more modern cabin and biggger. Both were the same price which was surprising. Great place to stay if you visit Tumut

Beautiful location with some cabins and sites right on the river. We stayed in a cabin which was clean and comfortable but would have liked to have a hair-dryer and bedside lamps. Also kitchen inclusions were a bit sparse, only one large sharp knife. Tumut is a delightful place to spend a few days and there are some lovely walks from the park.

Great place to stay in tumut. We mucked up our late arrival and were still helped and given a key to our cabin even though it was our fault. The cabin was super nice and very cozy. Everything that we needed, and the view of the river with the mist coming off it was beautiful. Super happy. Would definitely come back!

A very nice leafy park, close to the main street & brewery. I couldn't give it extra stars because of a lack of access to power and water. The office basically said it was my problem, not theirs. So despite paying $39 for a powered site we had to join hoses and power leads to access what we paid for from 2 sites away. With NO help from management. Quite disappointed.......we surveyed the rest of the park, many sites have this problem. Take an extra lead & hose with a splitter !

Lovely spot by the river. Very clean cabin and a great price. We had a friendly duck and a very friendly possum come past to chat and share our pringles.

Love this park, beautiful trees, good staff. Maybe the amenities could be cleaned better, as in showers, alot of cobwebs and spiders. But will not stop me from returning. A magical park

Great location by the river, spent 4 days on a powered site under the poplar trees. Staff were very obliging when approached about an alternate site due to the local possums utilising our van as a trampoline (Decided to stay on site and move van forward, it worked!). A couple of suggestions for the sites over the back, more lighting, regular collection of sticks/branches and cleaning of outside sink for washing dishes. Enjoyed our stay, park is dog friendly and beautiful Tumut is a short walk away.....

Great location on river and walking distance to town centre. Stayed 2 nights and very disappointed with condition of the Ameneties. On Sunday morning at 1300 the men's toilet had not been cleaned. In 6 years years of travelling in every state in Australia, I have never seen toilets in such a filthy condition. Some cubicles had no paper, there was no hand wash at the basin. While acknowledging some people have poor toiletry habits there is no excuse for management not to ensure ameneties are kept clean. With a large park at full capacity it would be a reasonable expectation to clean the facility twice a day. I reported the condition at 1100, nothing done at 1300.

Our family loved our stay the Riverglade Caravan Park, especially as we had a riverside site! Caravan park itself is lovely and open with large sites. We were lucky enough to score a riverside park and it was sensational with large trees for shade and easy access to facilities. Power and water were all fine for our sites as well. Staff and park occupants were friendly, kids made friends with a large group of kids and had a ball on all the playground equipment. There is river access for swimming and water play, but just remember it’s snow feed (ie cold) and the water currents get up and moving. You need to supervise kids in there. There are large suitable facilities onsite. They do get some bugs etc depending upon season, but nothing too out of control. Caravan park is well located with a Woolworths and BWS 750m away for supplies. Our family enjoyed our stay and we would happily stay here again!

Great location, easy access to Tumut. The park could do with a few tweaks to take it to the next level. An additional camp kitchen and modernised amenities would help. Safe access to the river would also help.

Lovely spot by the river. Friendly staff. Pet friendly. Close to town. Amenities are good. Sites are big, some are muddy at the moment because of all the rain. Can see it as a popular spot come summer.
