We
had
a
frustrating
stay
at
Riverglades.
The
park
itself
is
lovely
with
well
maintained
grounds
and
terrific
sites
right
on
the
beautiful
Tumut
River
and
close
to
town.
However,
the
staff
(while
very
friendly)
seemed
disorganised.
First
we
were
directed
to
a
couple
of
sites
that
were
already
occupied
and
then
were
allocated
a
site
by
one
staff
member
and
started
to
set
up
only
to
be
told
by
another
staff
member
it
was
already
booked.
So
we
moved
to
another
site
and
then
were
told
they
had
made
a
mistake
and
the
first
site
was
available
after
all.
Shortly
after
that
we
saw
another
couple
arriving
having
booked
a
powered
site
to
find
they
were
on
an
unpowered
site.
When
we
tried
to
access
the
facilities
we
discovered
you
need
a
key.
We
hadnβt
been
told
this
or
given
a
key
when
we
checked
in
and
by
this
stage
the
office
was
closed.
Luckily
we
were
rescued
by
a
kind
neighbour
who
gave
us
their
key
to
use
but
then
the
facilities
were
really
dirty
and
smelled
and
looked
terrible.
This
was
particularly
frustrating
as
after
a
week
of
camping
up
in
Kosciusko
National
Park
we
had
only
booked
into
a
caravan
park
in
order
to
have
a
proper
shower.
We
ended
up
swimming
in
the
river
to
clean
up
instead
as
the
toilets
and
showers
were
so
awful.
It
seems
a
lot
to
pay
for
a
unpowered
site
when
the
facilities
arenβt
up
to
scratch.
There
are
many
nice
and
cheaper
Hipcamps
and
NP
camps
in
the
region.
Hopefully
we
just
caught
the
park
on
a
bad
day
as
the
other
reviews
here
are
great.
Iβm
not
sure
we
would
stay
here
again
though.
