I'm
a
big
fan
of
these
types
of
diners.
I've
previously
gotten
taken
out
from
here,
but
this
is
my
first
time
dining
in.
It
was
busy
when
we
arrived,
lots
of
people
waiting
to
be
seated.
There
was
a
sign
on
the
door
which
asked
for
applicants
to
fill
two
or
three
different
positions,
including
cook,
so
I
expected
we
might
be
waiting
a
bit,
but
we
were
invited
to
a
table
reasonably
quickly.
Each
of
the
staff
were
friendly
and
polite,
and
the
food
arrived
quickly.
I
had
ordered
a
patty
melt,
which
came
on
quality
bread
and
with
a
delightful
amount
of
toppings.
The
burger
patty
itself
was
a
bit
too
done
for
my
liking,
but
I
admittedly
didn't
ask
for
it
to
be
prepared
any
special
way.
I'll
do
that
next
time.
On
the
surface,
the
interior
of
the
diner
was
welcoming
and
comfortable,
though
once
seated,
you'll
find
torn
booths
and
some
pretty
apparent
cracks
in
the
walls.
The
glowing
health
inspection
review
on
the
window
confirms
there's
nothing
to
be
concerned
about,
though,
and
the
food
is
quality.
Three
stars
for
this
visit,
but
I
originally
leaned
towards
four.
For
some
reason,
the
building
maintenance
issues
bothered
me
more
than
they
should
have,
admittedly,
and
the
burger
patty
being
too
done
was
a
touch
disappointing,
but
I
see
the
appeal
to
Browns
Point
Diner
and
will
definitely
be
back.
I
would
say
on
a
normal
day,
this
is
probably
a
solid
four
star
place.
