No doubt it is worth a visit. It is very unique. However I would also like to say its very crowded in monsoons and the people visiting and the local eateries along with the administration should be more sensitive towards garbage and not through garbage and make the route dirty. The eateries are responsible because they sell it. The administration is responsible because even after knowing that it is a tourist attraction they gave not made efforts to arrange for cleanliness and the upkeep of the route to the dam. It is a kaccha road and small ponds which you need to cross to reach the dam stairs.

I recently visited Bushi Dam in Lonavala, India and I must say it was an amazing experience. The dam is located in a beautiful area surrounded by lush greenery and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. I was also impressed by the facilities available at the dam, such as restrooms, changing rooms, and a snack bar. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was very

Great views! All thanks to monsoonโ€™s ๐Ÿ˜ It was a perfect day for being a tourist. Bit of rain - Bit of sun!! Ensured that we could enjoy most of what was there to offer! It was crowded due to weekend - but we managed to see what we set out for! We started early and visited these places and just enjoyed it . The bridge is full of trash - not sure why people can be more intelligent and take care of their surroundings. I was contemplating 5 or lesser rating due to filth thrown around. Location wise it is a 5 for sure โค๏ธ

The journey to Bhusi Dam with family with or two wheeler, enjoying winding roads that offer panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Upon reaching the dam, visitors are greeted by a breathtaking sight of the water reservoir flanked by verdant hills on all sides. The dam's picturesque setting makes it a haven for nature enthusiasts and avid photographers alike. A lot of rushed over here at rainy seasons, and so much crowd for enjoying those view....

It's the most engaged place of lonavla. This location is a very beautiful place that does not require any trekking. I used to visit here in every monsoon. Sometimes in the heavy rain it becomes risky so whenever you are coming there with family try to not go when heavy water fall from the dam side. On Saturday and Sunday it is very crowded you will see a wave of public visiting here.

Best time to visit the dam is monsoon but one can visit any season. We visited in thr summer amd there was a little water inside the dam. There is walking distance from the parking to reach dam. Place is very peaceful and you can enjoy nature with birds and fish. You should try snacks also. Overall, place is very nice and one should visit it whenever you are in Lonavala.

One of the prime tourist spots in the area. You won't be able to find free parking here. This place is full of tourists in rainy season but it becomes a bit dangerous with the floods. So be careful if you visit during monsoon.

This dam is best enjoyed during peak of monsoon. We went there first week of summer in 2023. Just because this year the monsoon onset is late there was not enough water. The stairs that lead up to the dam is usually overflowing with water during monsoon but this year it was completely dry. The back side of the dam was also very dry and barren. Therefore there was no rush. Despite no water the view was nice and was perfect for tired travellers to sit and take test at.

Nice place to visit with family and friends. But too much crowded on weekend. It is at walkable distance from road and easy climbing. It takes 5-10 min to reach there from car parking.

Good place to visit in Summers also!!! I also added some photos of Dam water in Infrared Light wavelength. Make sure you carry lots of water with you and some food, because here food is more expensive than normal. It's better to drive by car here so you can visit all the spots, auto fair is bit expensive & not available all the time. You have to book auto for return trip also. It's better to go with friends and hike around the nature, It feels really calm & cool at evening. It is also wonderful site for Stargazing during new moon, make sure you book place to stay at night. Cycling track is also marked alongside the road. We returned from bhushi dam by walking towards lonawala railway station at evening, it was such a wonderful experience...!

Great views but it's not guaranteed that the dam will be overflowing when you visit, even in heavy rain.

The lake situated here makes one of the most memorable places to sit and relax, while you can play with the water. Lots of street foods and fun activities can be found here. The best time to visit is during monsoon and can witness the water overflowing the dam and coming out through stairs.

We went to Bhushi dam in November and there was no water in the dam. Paid parking is rs. 100 which is a waste of money. The entry to the dam was free. Inside everything is expensive. One and only good thing is you can climb up the dam and check out Bhushi lake and get a free fish spa if you dip your foot in water. Two suggestions if you want to visit this place is to go only in the rainy season and don't pay parking if you get your own car.

It is one of the Beautiful place in Lonavla. A must visit place. Bhushidam is a small Waterfall dam. We can easily spend 2hr time here. It is a very crowded place. Please be careful at steps if you slip on that place there is a chance to hurt very badly. Already some incidents happened here. People who are going with children should be very conscious here. You can enjoy the Nature at peaks with flowing water Around us and that natural water sounds cool breezing air surrounded by green mountainsโ›ฐ๏ธ what not. You can fully recharge your soul with happiness in this place. You can reach here by taking auto ๐Ÿ›บ also. It will take hardly 15-20 minutes from Lonavla railway station.

Heavy crowded. Parking is cheating by collecting 100 rs. Carry rubber shoes or slippers. Better to avoid street vendors and not to encourage them as they have put up stalls even on the gates of dam blocking the natural beauty of dam. One shouls think if they have gone there to enjoy dam beauty or to eat buttas as the vendors have filled all over.

๐Ÿ˜ Sunset is a great point to see, but actually there is not a proper place, all the tourists are arranged on the highway wherever there is space, so there is often a problem of traffic.
