You enter from one gate that is Tiger Point and exit from another gate that is Lion Point. So it's same you can say. It's free of cost you just have to pay for parking. Lonavala lake, Lion Point, Tiger Point and Ambey Valley all are in same route. Talking about the experience in Lion point the view was breath taking. When we reached weather was soothing and had chance to get rain showered when rainy clouds came near us. Not only the point, the route itself is very beautiful when we go to these points. A must go place. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here. Would recommend to go in morning or evening or if it's the monsoon. Otherwise sun will burn you:-).

Lion and Tiger points are the same, one entrance is 🦁 and the other 🐯, 😁😁😁 Worth the visit anytime of the year, rainy season will be the best, of course. It's not only about lush green views, the ride into nature, winding roads and windy hills gives joy anytime of the year. I visited in Feb22 and am happy! Sunset views - March2022

It is really a very beautiful place, in the rainy season it gets even more beautiful view. Everyone should go here once. The view from the lions point is awesome. There is a camel ride available for kids. During monsoon you just get to see and experience the clouds and you will not be able to see anything from top. Those views are good for winter season only. During some it's too hot to go there. They charge 50 rs for 4Wheeler parking but the no maintenance... It becomes difficult to drive on uneven surface as many rocks are there. Place remains too crowded during monsoon. Both points are very close tiger point and lions point and you don't need to park your vehicle separately.

Beautiful view from this location. Located along the Amby valley road Lion Point which is located right next to Tiger Point in Lonavala is a popular tourist attraction and has a breathtaking view of the valley below. We visited this place a couple of days ago and reached the location early morning just after sunrise. Since we reached early the place wasn’t crowded. The weather was chilly and windy. I’m sure the valley would look excellent in the monsoon as well and for sure will plan a trip during the rainy season. Be careful with your belongings as there are monkeys around the place.

Worst location to visit after/before monsoon season. 1. There's only garbage at the place from where you look at the mountain "tigers point". 2. No greenery as the monsoon atleast covers for that around the garbage for a manageable day. 3. The only thing good I could imagine (strictly only in monsoon) is the clouds around the mountains near the viewpoint and as it's not heavy trek or wetty place hence you not dangerous or risky. 4. Only problem is lonavala forts and other places open after 9 am and hence you are left with no choice to visit some open places like this. 5. Can click pictures on the way travelling to lions point rather than the location itself.

This place is a regular visit which never disappoints you. The view, cloud, wind, coffee and hot smoking snacks makes it a perfect place to hangout with family, friends or with self. Monsoon is the best season to be there. Sunrise and sunset are beyond expectations

The best view spot in Lonavala is Lion's Point. It offers a breathtaking view, surrounded by numerous shops for lunch, dinner, and snacks. In foggy weather, enjoying a hot Maggie and onion bhajiye is a great choice. Despite heavy traffic on the way to Lion's Point, traffic police maintain order. It's recommended to travel by bike or scooter for easy parking, maneuvering through traffic, and enjoying the stunning mountain, fog, and sunset views. Don't forget to bring a raincoat, as rain can occur unexpectedly.other than that, the parking facility at Lion's Point is convenient, allowing you to park your bike or car wherever you prefer. However, be cautious not to run or walk slowly on the grounds as the soil can be slippery, especially during foggy and rainy weather.

Lion's View Point Lonavala is a scenic and adventurous spot near Lonavala. It is a place where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the hills and valleys, and feel the thrill of the wind and the height. The point is located about 15 minutes drive from Lonavala, on the way to Amby Valley. It is named after the shape of the hill that resembles a lion's head. The point offers a breathtaking view of the greenery, waterfalls, and lakes. You can also see the Tungarli Dam and Rajmachi Fort from here. The point is a popular destination for nature lovers, photographers, and bikers. You can also indulge in some activities, such as paragliding, horse riding, and zip-lining. There are many stalls and vendors where you can buy snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. The point is open from 6 am to 6 pm every day. The entry fee for the point is Rs. 10 per person. You can pay by cash or card. The place can get crowded and noisy during weekends and holidays, so it is advisable to visit early in the morning or evening. Lion's View Point Lonavala is a must-visit place for anyone who wants to experience the beauty and adventure of Lonavala. It is a place where you can have fun and relax with your friends, family, or solo.

Lions Point in Lonavala is a popular tourist spot that offers breathtaking views and a memorable experience. The point is perched at a high altitude, providing panoramic vistas of the surrounding valleys and hills. Upon reaching Lions Point, I was captivated by the vast expanse of natural beauty that unfolded before my eyes. The scenic landscapes, dotted with lush greenery, were a treat for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. The view from the edge of the cliff was truly awe-inspiring, allowing me to appreciate the majestic beauty of the Western Ghats. The spot is well-maintained, with paved pathways and safety rails to ensure a comfortable and secure visit. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes, as there are some steep inclines to navigate. There are also seating areas where visitors can relax and soak in the stunning vistas. The best time to visit Lions Point is during sunrise or sunset when the sky transforms into a kaleidoscope of colors, creating a magical atmosphere. Watching the sun rise or set over the hills is a truly unforgettable experience that will leave you in awe of nature’s wonders. There are also small food stalls and vendors selling snacks and beverages near the viewpoint, allowing visitors to grab a quick bite and refreshments while enjoying the scenery. It’s a good idea to carry water and some snacks if you plan to spend a significant amount of time at the point. While Lions Point offers a remarkable view, it’s important to exercise caution and stay within designated areas, as the cliffs can be dangerous. It’s advisable to be mindful of your surroundings and keep a safe distance from the edges. In conclusion, Lions Point is a must-visit destination in Lonavala for nature lovers and those seeking breathtaking views. The awe-inspiring landscapes and the serene ambiance make it a perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature. Just be sure to take necessary precautions and cherish the beauty of this picturesque location.

In Lonavala, Lion's Point can be found alongside Tiger's Point. There are two viewpoints from this clifftop that offer views of the hills. The best things about this spot are its winds, sunrises, and sunsets. Weekends are busy in this area with tourists. You don't need a ticket to enter, but you must pay to park your vehicle.

Absolutely stunning. Don't miss this place. The photos u see cannot justify what u r actually going to see and experience. Nature's beauty at its best. Fog and clouds cover the whole place and real beauty unfolds once the fog clears. Everything ur eye can capture is just stunning visuals. Amazing experience. Note: Please use dustbins as a part of the place looks like a dump yard.

It's located by the side of the highway The best time is to go during rainy season and hope there are no rains The place looks amazing with all the clouds The best part is the passing clouds, especially when the cloud comes and covers and when it moves out. There are a few stalls which give good tea, maggi and other snacks The view from this place is beyond words A peaceful and beautiful place to visit. Parking is by the road.

Monsoon is the best time to visit. Unfortunately it is also the worst time as it is very crowded especially on weekends. But it is still worth it because it just looks magical. The place was foggy and lush green. The weather was pleasant. Lions point is just too crowded however you can find other secluded spots which are better. There are a lot of resorts and villas nearby. Must visit.

Good viewpoint but unfortunately there is a fence blocking the view/disrupting photos. Between two of the viewpoints you can get a spot without the high fence and just the old low fence. 50inr for that parking is too much and the shop sellers are too aggressive

Lion's Point, perched atop a hill in the scenic Lonavala, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valley and the Sahyadri mountains. It's a popular tourist destination, particularly during the monsoon season when the lush greenery and cascading waterfalls create a mesmerizing spectacle. Early morning and evening is ideal time to visit, kindly avoid afternoon time.

I recently visited lions point and the experience was worth sharing. What made my visit to Lion's Point even more remarkable was the presence of curious monkeys. These playful creatures added an element of charm and liveliness to the experience. Observing them interact with each other and their surroundings was a delightful and heartwarming sight. Just a friendly reminder, though: while they can be entertaining, it's important to be respectful of their space and not feed them. Timing is everything at Lion's Point. Whether you're an early riser chasing the golden hues of sunrise or a twilight enthusiast savoring the warm embrace of sunset, this viewpoint caters to all. I was fortunate to witness the sun's gentle embrace as it bathed the landscape in a warm, ethereal glow, creating an ambiance that felt almost surreal.

Good place for a sunset watch. Many small restaurants are here serving maharashtrian snacks and kids menus. Excellent panoramic view of sahyadri. There is justification of the name "lion point". Parking rates are high.

Beautiful place to witness a dramatic sunset. Tables are dedicated to restaurants. So reach early, pick up a table nearest to the fence. Order slowly so as to enjoy the scenic view for a longer time. Food: cheese pakodas are a must Try. I'm a hygiene freak but I loved eating Gola there and didn't fall sick πŸ˜€.

Lion point is one of the famous point in lonavla. Good to visit in monsoon it's like heaven on earth. I went in mid of June. Rain has not started but there was cool breez and cloudy weather. There is place for car parking and they will charge you 50 Rs. Pakoda Maggie Chai coffee available on the place but they are over priced. I ordered kanda bhaji, corn bhaji, mirchi bhaji and batata bhaji and bill was 500 Rs. Which is way overpriced than normal.

This is right next to Tiger point, completely walkable. There are food stalls which I didn't happen to try and there is parking space as well. One can take the walk from Tiger point to Lions Point. There will be more monkeys here. The view is fantastic, again I visited on Nov 13th, Sunday afternoon and it was bit too sunny.

The view from the point is awesome. There is a camel ride available for kids. A few small shack eateries around and a few carts selling 🌽. Cleanliness wise the place isn't great, litter all around.

The weather of this point is awesome and the view was breathtaking and so pleasant. It was having so soothing and calm weather with cold breeze and the rain adds the extra charm to this place. The experience was very good and overall the place is very much worth to spend time.

It's good to visit with family or friends a tip make sure you don't wear anything light as there's lots of wind gushing you may see paper plates flying and if your luck is bad it may have left over ketchup and your clothes could get dirty. Pleasant to go when there's slight rain showers you could have an amazing view to see with cool breeze and yes hot tea with dew drops falling over you.
