Shingroba what the first man who invented this road. Then later on with the help of this Man britishers able to build the road from Bombay to Pune. This place is holy. all the vehicle passing thru this old Mumbai Pune highway prayes for safe journey. So this temple is for the road God. Since childhood we are offering coconuts & coins to this road God. When we where kids we are eager to trow coins from moving vehicle. Beautiful & small temple. In monsoon time this place is full of greenery this is best time to visit this road. Five star is very less to this road God 🙏🏼😊

It is a very beautiful temple. This temple is centrally located in the Ghat. This temple is very old. The history of this temple is very old. The temple was named Shingroba after a farmer. Many travelers pay obeisance to this temple while passing from here. This temple is located in Borghat. It is also called Khandala Ghat. This road goes to places like Pune and Lonavala.

Temple as a prilgimage to the Shingobra, who helped in development of this route through the mountains. Childhood memory: ritual was to throw a coin inside the temple while travelling through bus, the one who's coin will land inside temple will have his wish fulfilled.

Back in the days when the Expressway didn’t exist and vehicles used this route to travel between Bombay & Pune, this temple was a fixed stop for almost all vehicles - whether they be preparing to ascend the Ghat or had descended from it. People used to pay homage to Bappa before proceeding further, especially drivers of heavy vehicles like trucks & trailers used to stop here to pray for a safe journey. I remember going here to pay obeisance with my brother every time we drove to Pune and back. Sweet childhood memories & pure nostalgia! Bappa please look after humanity, always! Ganpati Bappa Morya!🙏🏻
