A lovely place , what I recommend for this particular place . Bring a pair of very comfortable shoes , bring a backpack for family , bring your camera , your phones , and a few bottles of waters depending of the family . Yes it’s really easy going down , but harder to come up , (nothing new/this is normal) the walking it’s about 1 hour going and coming back , because you stop and take pictures and admire the every single Pozo . Do not drink the water, don’t play with it , it has so much minerals that are toxic for human and pets . Don’t let your pet on the loose because they can drink from the water . This is totaling like hiking , so with that being said , bring also a hat , and mosquitoes repellent , just in case , some days are very hot and there aren’t many shadows , there is a bathroom and a shopping bodega at the entrance , and also another bathroom and a bodega when you get downstairs almost on the way where you start coming back up . Very basic things they sell . Mostly drinks and snacks . Is it worth it ? 100% 😎! Beautiful views, beautiful pics . I will recommend to go around midday if possible it’s when the sun 🌞hits the water more and you can see thru it ! Loved it !

Beautiful place with 6 little lakes you can enjoy the view. Take solar protection with you because it's really sunny and ther eis not shadows. It costs COP 12.000 per person. We went on Sunday.

If you're in the area, you may go there for a nice walk around small blue lakes, but it's nothing spectacular. Many people around as well. If you like trekking it's not the place for any adventure, but more like a nice easy family walk after heavy lunch :)

Note the other listing for Pozos Azules PARKING to find the parking area easier. Great place, a little hike. -Roughly 2 miles (3.2km) -20 minutes down, and 30-40 minutes back up. -Elevation gain 239ft (72.8 meters) -Costs $12 pesos each person. -Parking is free -Depending on the time of year and if it just rained the blue (azules) lakes might be brown or green. -There are about 6-10 different lakes, various shapes and sizes. -Restroom 🚻 (Banos) at the entry. -Refreshment stand also at the entry.

You need to walk from the gate to visit 6 small lakes. Thery have given directions, walk trail is pleasant but you get constant sound of motorbikes which run towards the lake paralley. No place to sit and relax.

These are pretty. But if you are pushed for time, you could skip this attraction. If you do go, try early in the morning before it gets to hot. Take a hat, sunscreen and water.

15.000cop for a 30 min walk around some small unexciting ponds… in my opinion another tourist trap

It's beautiful and quiet, very nice walk but keep away of this after a storm. It would be nice to have some kind of guidance or information about the lakes and the zone. You can walk all the way from the entrance to the exit in 30-40 minutes

Beautiful place, it's better to take the tour with a group of friends or family to be able to explore the place and take advantage of the time. The ATVs and buggies are good and it's really funny drive them. Ps: don't wear dark clothes and take with you some glasses because vehicles generate al lot of dust.

Granted the pools are kind of beautiful but: - it cost COP $10,000 (which is not much) and you just receive in exchange the possibility to walk for an hour and see the pools. - there’s no information signs (just about a hundreds warning you not to swim) about the deep, the minerals and chemicals composition in each pool. That would have been interesting to understand the reason behind the specific colors

Beutiful sightseeing for nature lovers, an easy trekking path marked with clear sights, cheap, a good plan to go and enjoy

Quite uninteresting. Literally just some holes in the ground with water. 12k entrance not worth.

The price is high and the service terrible. The place now mixes an activity of quadbikes and buggies right next to the lakes. The quad bike activity is terribly organised, cars and bikes in a bad state and an excess of drivers and tours going on at the same time. We spent more than twenty minutes in the buggy without moving, it constantly turned off and we had to wait for it to be started again and it broke down. Passing the tracks right next to the lakes makes tha environment cintaminated and full of dust, so walkers are constantly exposed to massive amount of dust coming from the inmense caravans of biggies and quad bikes. It looks like the owner of this place is more interested on profit than on a sustainable experience. I definitely don't recommend it

Beautiful man made amusement. It's quite relaxing, provides a good space for introspection or sharing a nice walk with others.

Beautiful location to walk around and explore nature. Only thing I did not like is them telling us there was a time limit on how long you could be in the area. 20 minutes in and 20 minutes out is not even close to enough time to enjoy all there is there. But in the end no one came looking for us for taking to long either.
