I was a bit concerned because of the mixed reviews, but ended up taking a chance. The location was perfect for us for an Ole Miss tailgate/game. Our check-in experience was seamless even with a pet ($20 pet fee) and the lady was super friendly. The room was about what I expected at a $80 per night rate for a game weekend. The linens seemed to be clean and the beds were quite comfortable. I was a bit concerned about the bathroom not looking clean, but I ran some bleach wipes over the surfaces and found them to still be white after use (indicating it was cleaner than it appeared). Maybe it's just age. The floors in the main area need a good cleaning, but all in all, it was perfectly fine for our needs. I would stay there again.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would, but since I can’t I will leave it at a one, which maybe fair after all since they did have good cable channels at the very least. Sadly the room was DISGUSTING though. The floors were unbearably sticky with dirt, hair, and all kinds of grim stuck to them. There was a dirty empty cup behind our mini fridge covered in dust and hair where you could tell it had been overlooked for quite some time. After pulling back the blankets I, a platinum blonde woman, found multiple black hairs on my sheets and pillows. When trying to rinse off the dirty feeling this room gave me in the shower I found a spit ball with more hair in it stuck to the back of the bathroom door. Worst of all, there was black mold in the bath tub, and not just around the seams, it was under the soap holders, on the curtain, and the shower head. This place needs a completely new cleaning staff with some higher standards for quality and cleanliness for their guests. Would not stay again, and would definitely not pay $80 for this place.

Wasn’t very clean. Vomit remnants around base of toilet, laminate flooring in main area was popping up in places, floor was very sticky. AC struggled to keep the room cool. We were exhausted so it served as a place to sleep but I won’t be staying again. Needs some updates and things fixed for sure. Good luck!

LIVE COCKROACHES in the room. Offered to move us, I'm guessing they won't be in other rooms. Acted surprised! You know darn well you have bugs. Get an exterminator ASAP! Offered to come clean our room personally, never happened. Should have discounted our stay. Will stay in Tupelo or New Albany next time. Extremely nasty!

Drawers had previous guests trash, paycheck stubs and clothing left behind. Room was filthy, bathroom showed clear mold and lack of cleaning, worst and nastiest room I’ve ever been in. Clerk was also ridiculously condescending and nasty, tossed my bank card back at me upon finishing.

Room had mild in the bathroom and our room door should have been replaced a long time ago! The place was also noisy. They need to remodel their place as soon as possible, seriously 😒

I was surprised and delighted to fine the room as clean and ordinary as it was. I came prepared to "Reclean" the room as I do now when I travel and it took no time for me to feel comfortable and a clean and germ free room! I give the stay 4 1/2 solid 🌟🤩⭐🌠

Me and my son was looking to have a place to stay for one night. Our house burn and we could not stay in the house anymore. The man did even let me get a word in Very rude. Before he said no. Thank you sir. You be blessed and No we were not asking for a free room we just need a room for that day thank you very much!!!

Remodeling. This place is a literal landmark in this town and is now being remodeled. Has a continental breakfast and clean rooms.

We stayed here for a total of 7 weeks while working in area. All that time and not a single complaint on our behalf. The staff and owners made it like being home and made everything as easy and comfortable as you could possibly expect. Always clean towels. Beds fresh everyday. The one thing I would say maybe was lacking was breakfast as it is advertised as such but really is coffee, juice a few mini donuts and cereal. This did not effect us at all but some may be expecting to get a real breakfast and you won't. I would highly recommend this for your stay if you are not looking high end. If you want the best value you have the right place.
