Beautiful beautiful beautiful. I can't say it enough. You I can totally go to Grand Turk without doing a ship excursion. The pool right off of Port past the shopping center is free. It goes up to about 3 and 1/2 ft. Maybe four. They have a slim of bar and the restaurant Margaritaville right next to it. The beach in is literally right off the port with free chairs and umbrellas.

Out of all the islands my husband and I have experienced so far, this is our favorite Caribbean island! It has plenty of great food, shopping, excursions and so forth but... The water!!! Oh my goodness! We have yet to find an island with water as clear, warm and beautiful as Turks and Caicos Islands. There's zero undercurrent as well (which is a plus believe me) it is a very family friendly island but it is also an amazing place to visit for a couples retreat! We enjoy every minute we're there and never want to leave. Snorkeling on this island is amazing! It's quiet, the locals are beyond friendly and very helpful. Ummm did I mention the water... these islands are what I call paradise!!🙂

Such a charming place. Crystal turquoise water. Lavender Conch Shells. Royal Blue Beach Chairs. Yellow Towels. Soft sands. People are pleasant and eager to serve you. I took a tour around the Island. I went to the Local Museum. This place was the home of Captain Morgan. It has a beautiful Coral Reef for diving. I think the diving and snorkeling would be wonderful. Lots of local artists. The people have Dual Citizenship with the USA and the UK. They depend on Tourism. I am glad they are able to open back up.

Great shopping, beautiful beach, fun Margaritaville restaurant (world's largest) and gigantic pool area with swim up bar, a DJ, NASA exhibit, Jack's Shack restaurant, flow rider. The fun never ends!

Absolutely stunning. The water is crystal clear and the waves slap softly. Be cautious of the rocks and the slopes on the beach! Just take it slowly and you should be fine. I was privilege to visit this beach and pier as a part of my Carnival Cruise. There was plenty of chairs and everyone on the beach was so kind. I didn't really visit the duty and tax free ship except to walk through it too get to the water lol the pier is not as long as a walk as I feared. Definitely a place to stop and visit.

Beautiful island. We went here on Carnival Elation and had a great time. Hope to go back. Whale watching excursion was awesome. Got to see a mother humpback whale and her calf.

Have not been to this port in a while but it was great back in 2015! We had sailed on the Carnival Pride and had a great time when we got off in Grand Turk. There is easy beach access, so you do not have to worry about taking a taxi or anything to get to the fun!

Built for tourists who do not have the imagination to see anything else on the island outside of this area. They could be anywhere in the Caribbean. Same mixture of tshirts and cheap souvenirs. Restaurants could not compete with the cruise ship food, especially with the high prices they charge!

Small walk to shopping options at the port. The port has 2 beaches north and south side. The north side is more crowded than the sound side. Good snorkeling options either side of the port. The south side is a little rockier so snorkeling but is less crowded. Beautiful clean beach!

Wow! Can't even describe how shaving this place is. From the colors of the water to the culture of the island. This place has tons to do and places to visit. We couldn't cover it all in our golf cart but man did we enjoy the colors and beaches on this island. Definitely a must stop again to enjoy the rest of what this place has to offer.

Nice clean terminal. The beach chairs and umbrellas are free, complimentary from Carnival, but locals will try to rent them to you. Kindly refuse! The beach is very rocky, but lovely none the less. Lots of little shops. Margaritaville is pretty cool.

Great place for excursions. Beautiful water, clean sand, and great people. Margaritasville has a swim up bar, but if you want to get a chair, you will have to be early to be close. The beach is right off the terminal.

Will not go again. Very rocky ocean, so bring your water shoes. If you like to part in the pool you will do just fine. Take advantage of the free changelogs on the beach.

This is the best beach. The sand is so soft. We were here 7/5/23. It was a cloudy day so it was not extremely hot. We enjoyed floating in the ocean, jumping on the giant trampoline and playing in the pool. Very relaxing.

Some nice staff in the customer/store building you have to go through. Prices for merchandise expected. Beautiful scenery/landscape. I'm a Wedding Officiant; performed a vow renewal here at the fountain last year.

This location was by far my best!. The history of the culture, the excursion, was amazing. Saw some of the raw parts of the island and not just the tourists or resort areas. Learned more about the island history about part of its salt agriculture. I love seeing to understand; and not just reading what's told. The depth of the history is raw and authentic!. I will be returning to explore more. This island is really only 7 miles in total.

The good: beautiful weather, friendly locals ( the ones in tourism anyways), the hummer tour excursion was good as we got to see the island somewhat instead of sit at the port with our feet in the water.. The bad: Outside of the port area there is nothing to see or do and I mean nothing. I can relate to the folks that stayed onboard for "laundry day".

It is a very small island but very beautiful. We rented a golf cart during our cruise stop and were able to visit many different spots.

Grand Turk is the most beautiful cruise port I've seen. The ship is docked so near to the beach. The view from the beach is the best. The shore is crystal clear. The terminal is well maintained and clean. It's a must try spot and enjoy the beaches and the view.

This port is beautiful! The walk up with the fabulous welcome sign against bluest waters... and so many places to shop! I enjoyed the marketplace the most I got so many goods there! And all the beach access just right there! I would definitely sail here again just to enjoy the port!

We had a wonderful time exploring the port and the island on our own. We were able to stop and take photos, eat, and drink where and when ever we wanted! Beautiful and small island! Easy to get around!

Beautiful beaches and island, from what I saw. We shopped at first and then enjoyed tanning/snorkeling at the beach. If I were to return, I would book some sort of excursion so I could see what else the island has to offer!

It was a very beautiful day, very hot and humid. I was surprised how poor an island Grand Turk is. But the people were wonderful and made the the best of what they have. We did the excursion that put us on horses, ATV's, a short zip line, and snorkeling. The cost was high and the groupings were short, but, the people more than made up for it.

This is the greatest if you just want to relax! Not much shopping. Margaritaville is pretty much the only place to eat. But if you want to sit in the sun and wade in beautiful water you couldn't ask for a better place. One warning, the blue chairs with green umbrella are free, all day every day. The chairs down front with the colorful umbrellas are rented for $25 to $40 per day. But you can sit comfortably for free, so don't get taken.

Grand Turk was beautiful! The beach is literally right next to the ship. Especially loved the tour 'Top 10 of Grand Turk'. It took us all over the island & even made a stop for refreshments & lite shopping, as well as scheduled stops at the Lighthouse & a church which was great being as it was Ash Wednesday & I was unable to attend a service. I want to return to Turks & Caicos and spend more time.

Not a 5 star but definitely no complaints. Pro tip: even if you don't purchase food or drinks at Margaritaville you are more than welcome to use their pools! Although my friend and I spent the majority of our time here as the beaches were crowded and people expected money for seats.
