If you visit Grand Turk you must visit the museum. Great exhibits on local history and diving.

Beautiful Museum. I loved the Gift Store. Very special and beautiful local items for sale. I bought some post cards here. 6 for $5. Everything was reasonably priced. This Island depends upon tourism and visitors. Lots of beautiful scenery to admire. This Museum is across the street from the Ocean. The Tram stopped across the street and I was able to visit. Burros are free to roam the Island. I bought many beautiful things here. Everyone loved the Island. It was a cruise favorite. The Admission price is affordable, $5. Yearly Admission available.

Good to see various heritage and history in other countries. As a Mason, I was able to see some lodges out by the beach. The locals were friendly. We rented a golf cart to get around. Nothing like seeing the city at 20 mph. Beach was clean and beautiful

We took a ride from the cruise center and discovered this while in port on a cruise. It was a prime location - great views and no one was around we took thousands of pictures of this amazing island. Great people. Downtown is like a small bus stop. Don’t expect a lot of people or fancy ride. Weather was amazing and the water was clear as a personal pool. Definitely coming back.

Sweet little museum in a historic house showcasing the history of the island, the salt trade, local shipwreck, geological features, and the indigenous people who inhabited the islands before the Spanish arrived. Two floors plus a nice gift shop. Only five dollars for adults. Get there early as the rooms are small and can fill up quick.

Much poverty. Nothing really see here. Cruise stop off so Carnival can add to its income. Hurricane damaged much of island in 2018. Two back to back. Little vegetation so not beautiful. It's a TOURIST TRAP ONLY.

Enjoyable Hummer excursion however; the island is STILL in ruins after hurricane Maria. Per the locals Queen Elizabeth doesn't support them with finances to rebuild. Very sad situation and living conditions.

(Translated by Google) I did not like in general the small town of Great Turk, very dry in climate and almost everything destroyed by Hurricane Maria in September 2017. (Original) No me gustó en general el pequeño pueblo de Gran Turk, muy seco de clima y casi todo destruido por el Huracán María en septiembre de 2017.

Lovely little museum covering a broad range of topics and history of the islands. They packed so much in! I loved the geological and nature displays. The replica of the lighthouse was cool, and the video / display on the diving man was fascinating. Definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful staff! The museum was clean and easy to maneuver around. The gift shop had some really cool little doodads as well. I appreciate the A/C too! I went the first week of May and it was a hot day with no breeze.

Cute little museum. Its not very big. Seems like a 2,500sf house. But it was still kool. Right on the water. Local shops and restaurants right outside. Theres always people in pop up tents serving drinks. I personally liked it. When ever I'm in town I stop by.

A small museum in Cockburn Town on Grand Turk island. Seems to only be open when cruise ships are docked at the island. $5.00 entry fee. Several small displays highlighting the islands long history, including the John Glenn arrival after his historic Mercury mission space flight aboard Friendship 7. There is a small gift shop attached to the museum. Friendly staff. Worth a visit if you have time and are looking for something to do in Cockburn Town.
