👍👍 Had breakfast and a dinner here when we stayed at Ocean Club West. I love this place at night. Very relaxing, right on the water & they light it beautifully at night. I love the jerk fried rice which was a nice Caribbean fusion touch. Plenty of variety and our service was spot on, friendly and quick... Only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is because I told the waiter I am vegan, yet the vegetable tempura sushi came with what looks like spicy mayo on top (mayo has eggs). It took 30 minutes to arrive and I was hungry, so I just scraped it off. I am posting this for the next vegan to have a better experience. Besides that, the food was delicious (my partner enjoyed his curry and tiramisu) and the location/view was stunning for an evening dinner. I would still recommend this restaurant. I hope to come back and order the vegetable tempura sushi without mayo

What a memorable meal. Went at 6:30 and caught the sunset. Had a delicious drink and an even better dinner. The lobster tail was amazing as were the pork ribs.😍😍😍😍😋

This is the best restaurant on the island because of the location, vibe, freshness and simplicity of the food. Every time we feel perfectly well after eating, no problems on a stomach. We are staying at the hotel second time in 3 months and having tried other places decided to dine here most of our stay. You can definitely find a dish to your liking even if you are vegetarian or on a diet😉

Solana sits right on the beach and has a nice outdoor seating area with tiki touches. We visited on a Wednesday evening in which two wedding receptions were taking place. I’m not sure if that is a normal night or if that impacted our visit but I will pass along our experience. Most tables had been shifted to one of the receptions and made the outdoor seating a bit empty. We had specifically chose this restaurant in order to get sushi. Our expectations were high but while the food was good we felt we had better sushi at home so a tad disappointed. We did try the conch chowder as an appetizer and it was very tasty. The service was also fell in the lack luster category but again felt that was likely due to the lack of staff to service the events as well as normal diners. And finally as we went to pay discovered the do not accept American Express - which is a negative for our family. Perhaps your visit would be different but not sure our family would choose to visit again.

Update: We went back numerous times during our next stay at OCW. We did mainly lunches and dinners there and we were surprised at how much faster the food came out. The slow down seems to be a breakfast issue. Big kudos to the ever present hard working waiter in the white collared shirt (I apologize for not getting his name)... super friendly and always on the run. It's nice to have this restaurant on site of OCW. Food is good. Prices are a bit high even for the island, but that's probably normal for a resort restaurant. The main downside is the service. To be clear - the wait staff were so friendly and worked so hard. We saw the same 3 staff there every day for 8 days. Working hard, even running at times. Yet service was so slow, the food takes so long to come out. There seems to be a global issue with organization from a top down level.

Beautiful setting right on the beach and great for watching the sunset while having dinner. Decent sushi and conch fritters. Family friendly with a kids menu.

My wife and I came here because we really wanted some sushi but the other sushi place in town was closed. Overall it was a good experience but I wouldn't come here just for the sushi. We got the platter to try all of them but they pretty much tasted the same. Looking back, I probably would have gotten the lobster or something else. However, it was a very pleasant experience and a romantic ambiance. The staff was extremely polite. There is a wait for the food to come but I honestly didn't mind it. Enjoy the atmosphere and being on island time. I would come here again

We dined here for dinner. What a lovely resort and eating al fresco is a must for island dining. Plan for spending some time for dinner as you are on island time. The food was impressive. Service was amazing and a wonderful dinner experience.

We had a group of 30 celebrating a 50th birthday. They set up tents by the beach to accommodate us. It was glorious! Staff was outstanding, and the food was amazing.

We had been asking around where was a good place to eat, and NO ONE had suggested Solana even though it was just down the street from where we were staying. We decided to try anyhow since it was so close. We couldn't have made a better choice. Food was excellent and piping hot, atmosphere couldn't have been better, service was a great pace as we weren't in a hurry and wanted to savour every moment of our dinner. I had fish & chips (which they made for me even though on the lunch menu), my two friends had the Grouper Special and the Shrimp appetizer and Shrimp Pasta. Our server had a fun personality. We Highly Recommend!!!

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. Drinks were good, service wait time on food was long. The flies and the sun made the patio leas enjoyable to sit on . Recommend the snapper and conch fritters, sushi had a little too much rice but taste wasn’t bad.

Easily accessible location for lunch, not too crowded, but not impressed by the food (though portions were decent for the cost). We had the jerk chicken wrap, the crunchy chicken sandwich, the fish and chips, and a Caesar salad with shrimp. Staff was nice. Will return if hungry and close to location.

It's located right on the beach behind Ocean Club West. The food is really good and the service is great.

We came here for our last night at Grace bay, made reservations for a Nov evening. Unfortunately our last night dining was our worst night. Service was very slow. After getting our waters it was strange our server never asked for “additional drinks” it took 15 mins for him to return just to get our drink order to which we then quickly ordered our appetizers and dinner. My spring rolls were great but did take forever to come out. Dinner was probably an hour later which was just avocado roll sushi (mine was good) but my husband didn’t like his Noodle Yakisoba— Noodles were too thin and it was in dry in parts and then it was like congealed sauce in other parts
