A must have for tourists in Helsinki! Cruise to Tallinn was really beautiful, entertaining (there is a lot of activities to do on ship - bars, restaurants, tax free shops, casino etc.), it was a really nice adventure :) - our ferries were MS Gabriella and Viking XPRS. Two way tickets costs approx 40 euro for two adults, so the price was really cheap.

Paid only €21.80 for a round trip ticket Helsinki Tallinn Helsinki ticket, what a deal!!! Need to arrive 30min before departure time, scan your QR code to print ticket, one ticket good for round trip, so don’t lose it. Ship left 10 min before time, spent time outside, lots of seating space. Ship arrived on time and had a great walking tour of the old city. Return trip was even better, enjoyed time with afternoon sun on level 7 back deck. Also bought some chocolates from duty free ship, quite cheap. Saw locals buying loads of drinks from this shop, must be great deals. Anyone has a day to spare, do make this day trip from Helsinki 😀

The dinner and breakfast buffet are really good with many options. The cabin accommodations are predictably small. But the ventilation is horrible. I was sweating the whole night. Had to get up after 4 hours and try to sleep in the restaurant bench. Better air but all the lights are on there.

We can only buy a bottle of water for 3e but nowhere else in the whole ship has a water point to drink. In the restroom it is warm/hot water. Ticket cost online 21e, at the terminal 26e. Try at least to give us free water 🙈

The ship itself is fine-- but wow, what an obnoxious experience. All of the seating areas are blasting extremely loud, 90s pop hits or bland autotune mumblerap. It'd be fine if there was literally any quiet space somewhere else that isn't the uncovered top level of the ship. It's 15:00 on a Monday-- there is NO ONE on the dance floor, just a bunch of grumpy people that can't hear themselves think. I watched 3 separate groups sit at the table near the stage, say something about the music, then leave. Its worth noting, it was completely silent when we entered this room and sat down. There are people sleeping all over the floors in the corridors-- and I can't blame them. Everywhere else is intolerable. Oh, and the non-music areas are only for diners and screaming children. Unplug some of the speakers and exchange them for charging stations, as there is also nowhere you can plug in any device if you're interested in escaping the endless sirensong throughout the ship. I recognize this is a salty review. I'm currently on the ship, standing in a corner above the parking deck, phone plugged into an outlet nearly 3 meters off the ground, separated from my partner and friend because after the 3rd reggae song screaming into our ears, we went in search of literally anything else. I get that you're trying to cultivate a "fun" vibe, but come on.

Loistava palvelu satamasta alkaen.

It was such a great first time experience onboard a ship. Viking line service is relatively affordable compared to other ship/ferry services within the Baltic region. The ship had stores for shopping, a bar, restaurant, lounge, several luggage areas, conference rooms and the sun deck. You can literally walk around the entire ship, have a drink or a meal and things onboard are relatively cheap too. Passengers bought a lot of items onboard as well. Really loved the experience. Getting the ticket is also easy as long as you do the online check in to get your QR code prior to departure.

I cannot recommend Vining lines to anyone! When you expect nothing, you can still get disappointed. Had the opportunity to take a few Viking line ferries - and nowadays Viking line feels like a failing business that just doesn’t care any longer. It’s dirty, people are unfriendly, boats are substandard. Simply horrible. Arrived in my cabin today and was greeted by the smell of alcohol enriched puke. Horrible. How can any company rent out cabins like this? When complaining about the situation truly friendly at the reception (literally asking: would it be possible to get a room that doesn’t smell like puke):, no comment. No sorry. No explanation. Super unprofessional guy at the reception (grey haired, grumpy, Jan 01, 2023 at 16:45 on Gabriella). Yes, I got a new room but it felt like he was annoyed that someone would come to him to complain that the room is awful. So again: if you can avoid Viking line: do so!

Good place. No parking over night. Can't go out if you are waiting ferry.

It is fun to travel with kids. The website is not so well designed and built. The booking system is confusing. The cruiser from Turku to Stockholm is newer and fresher. The time on the shore was too short for us. Not enough to do anything except eating a lunch.

The ship is clean, it departs and arrives on time. I had a small cabin and it was clean and comfortable. I payed for the breakfast buffet, but i wouldn't do it again, they have a lot of variety but it's not tasty.

I could not get to my boat on time because of transportation not running, uber canceling, etc on Independence Day. However, the employee was so helpful to find me another trip at another company and help me get there on transportation.

I was very impressed by how clean the cabin was and the friendly staff onboard. We had an enjoyable trip to Stockholm and back, and in the evening there was a headliner Finnish band performing (although very late)

I've been using Viking, quite a bit. It's the cheapest line in the route between Helsinki and Tallinn, but you must be on the lookout for the deals to get the best price. The staff is mostly Finn's now, so may not speak Estonian and Russian. English is well understood though. The trip itself takes a bit more than 2 hours. There is usually enough room to find a seating area, some have outlets to charge your devices. There is a wi-fi, it's free, but it's rarely working, so don't rely on that. You can find a few spots to eat, the Buffet is the cheapest compared to competition but it's also provides less value for your $, still it's worth it I believe. The breakfasts buffet lasts for a lot longer than the dinner one, so beware 😄 There is also a deli where you can buy a burger or hot/cold food by the weight. I say go with a burger, their food by weight is overpriced for what you get, and you can get a surprise after the final price is revealed đŸ˜„ If you're looking for breakfast, my go-to is oatmeal. It's filling and cheap ! There is also a shop onboard, but there isn't anything really special.

Bicyclists are human sacrifies. First you have to wait in the hot sun to get in to the boat and then you have to breath all the exhaust gases from the cars you have to wait getting out first. Worst experience was few years ago when I went directly to the shower in my cabin and as they we're loading trucks the boat was balancing in a way that the water from the sewage came to the floor of the toilet. There were floating other peoples hair, nails, ehec bacteria et cetera in this dirty water. When I went to the reception there was a lady big as a walrus and she told me that talk to the hand 'coz the head ain't listening. Then I learned that Viking Line is a white trash company with white trash ppl. Keywords: Varaa risteily Viking Line ruotsin risteily finnish cruise ship booking reservation boka nu kryssningen

Great comfortable boats. Great price return from Estonia...€25 day trip. Duty free and entertainment on board. Good variety of food options

Always a good trip XPRS. The Trubadour in the pub onboard and various artists, sometimes good, sometimes bad. Overpriced alcohol deals in the duty free store, compared to cheaper prices on other boats.

If all you read is this - I STRONGLY recommend to show up early. There isn't enough seating for everyone. Took a ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn in December 2019. Overall, the experience was relatively decent. Boarding was an ease through the use of our purchased in advance, e-tickets. Where the trip seemed to drop was the complete lack of seating for travellers. For half of the trip, me along with many, many others, were required to be seated on the floor if you wanted to sit. Around halfway on the journey a huge lineup for the buffet(?) took place and helped alleviate the seating burden. That being said, my recommendations would be as follows: if you want to sit, show up early. There's not enough seating for everyone. I've taken quite a number of ferries in Canada and never had to sit on the floor. It was quite the experience.

They were punctual and well run. Staff was friendly and not too shabby with English. They were cool about the food buffet and let me sit there the entire trip to Tallin despite there being two sittings.

For 68 euro i got a cabin, all you can eat(and drink), and a return ticket for the following day. Far cheaper than any hotel you can find in the city and you get to visit another country. Cruise line well worth it.

Good experience. I have traveled many times via Amorella and Grace from Turku-Stockholm-Turku. Sometimes with car some times without car. Restaurants and food are quite okay but not very cheap. Coffee is around 2.60 euros and in the same cup you can take another time for 50 cents after an hour. I mainly traveled for work reasons so did not have enjoyed bars/live music places. Grace is the newer one launched in 2012 while Amorella is older one but still now well maintained. Also there might be new cruise 🚱 will replace Amorella in coming year according to some news (not sure when exactly). The cleaning of cabins before ship stop is headache sometimes. Because they start 2 hours before the destination. So technically last two hours are not so much peaceful. Viking has better and affordable services as compared to Silja Lines/Tallink on this route in my opinion.
