After 6 weeks finally made it in, unfortunately they're almost only open exclusively during my work days... Would love to eat here once or twice a week, but more likely every few months. Highly recommend if you can make it in during their open hours!

We had another great experience at La Mo! It never disappoints. We ordered off of the Friday Specials menu and we are so glad we did. The butternut squash empanadas were amazing and the braised beef was delicious. The atmosphere is also relaxing, lively, and fun. Don't miss this one!

Outstanding Mexican food. Very healthy ingredients. I’m having the fish tacos. First bite and nice broiled salmon. My luv is having chess enchiladas. Great staff. Worth getting here.

Found this Gem on a crunch to find some bomb brunch, the wait is a little crazy during brunch time but man let me tell you IT IS worth it. Authentic latin flavors and the presentation uff!! We ordered the chilaquiles with mild red sauce so good it comes with nopalitos chorizo and all the things. We tried their pork green pozole wow impressed should have ordered the big bowl. Last but not least their huevos rancheros , so good on a crispy tortilla smothered with black beans and topped with green salsa .. must try it if you are in the area. The aesthetics and ambiance are on point .

It’s cute. It’s fun. Food is decent. Problem., Too many flies causing the dining experience to be stressful, because we don’t want flies as a topping on our food/drinks. Idk if it’s just because there’s a super annoying abundance of pest control issues during the summer season or if this is a year round problem for these cow towns. It’s frustrating regardless and I hope these towns realize that there’s plenty of options for pest control and they should be using those options heavily. Also, they didn’t put butter on the toast or even ask if we wanted butter and if anything, they could have brought it out with our toast. It’s toast. Even if the place is busy, it’s a common habit to bring butter when your customers order toast.

The food was good and the atmosphere was great. The staff isn't very helpful, there's no sense of urgency and when you do ask for help, it's like your putting them out. If you want good food and bad service, this is the place to go to.

(11/4/2023) The food WAS amazing before. The manager was rude and condescending. Who makes chilaquilles with CHIPS. VERY disappointed. Will not be going back. I used to rave about this place telling people it's a must try for breakfast or brunch.. (5 years ago) Food was AMAZING! The 45 min wait was so worth it! Food was homemade.. made with fresh local ingredients. *Photos of food from 5 years ago.*

The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. If they offer you items double check to see if you're having to pay for them. The group I was with was offered chips and salsa. We thought it was a gesture of kindness because it was taking a while, but we wound up having to pay for them.

I’m sure their coffee is decent but I went to the restaurant. And it was trash. First of all I didn’t think the fly issue others have said would be an issue but it really is unbelievable how many flies are present. Second, the menu item I got was not as described as it was written. The “fresh” fruit was clearly from the day or 2 days prior as it was completely dried out. I had ordered extra sides which they didn’t make. Once I received the potatoes they were cold and again pretty sure it was from the day before as to how tough most of them were. Yeah definitely not coming back ever again. Also the price for what I ordered is in no way of its value even with inflation.

The cafe is sublime! Unique espresso drinks inspired by classic Mexican flavors and using quality coffee. Their teas an lemonades are also a hit. The restaurant portion is cute and comfy, but the food left a bit to be desired. Adding some salt managed to push the food to mediocre. Though, as advertised, it's all freshly made from scratch which is nice. Just make sure the table has salt and some extra limes.

Hi! For context, I'm a latina who grew up eating lots of yummy Mexican homemade food. Now the review: main entrees were done well and were very tasty (we had the chicken taco, salmon taco, wedding chicken, and enchiladas) all great. The sides...not as good. Very small quantity of rice served (that honestly didn't taste like anything) and beans that were not very seasoned or flavored at all. Sweet potato fries were also bland. For the price, I personally won't come here again, but the experience otherwise was pleasant with reservations made in advance and friendly staffing. Overall, it was okay. Just okay :)

First time here! We wanted coffee and breakfast. This shop is too cute I love it and my favorite is the garden bagel! I got the jalapeno cheddar bagel, My husband got the everything bagel breakfast bagel. My only concern is that it didn't taste like a jalapeno cheddar, it was just sprinkled in the middle of the bagel. Regardless of this point, it is very delicious. The workers in the back are appreciated in my eyes but low key they didn't look inviting haha but our cashier was hecka adorable super sweet. Definitely will come back again. Keep up the good work and smile!

Absolutely the best place to have brunch in town. The patio is beautiful, and an amazing spot to relax and visit with friends. Delicious food, and really great bottomless mimosas. We no longer live in Turlock, but it’s one of the places we miss most. Includes a cute little cafe with amazing coffees and pastries. Usually a wait, but plenty of antique shops to peruse while waiting to be called, and well worth any amount of wait!

The chilaquiles with the green sauce was yummy, though it really wasn't spicy, every time I've eaten chilaquiles, they've had a kick to it. I tasted my granddaughter's green salad, it was yummy as well. The dressing was delicious.

Great place to eat!! Very fresh food. I had the Machaca breakfast burrito, it was very tasty. My wife and daughter said the spritzers are very tasty. Coffee is very fresh and strong. The standout I think was the fresh fruit bowl. All locally sourced and super fresh. Definitely not cheap but well worth the price. We brought our puppy for her first birthday, don't judge, and they were very accommodating. Only down side was the flies, we ate outside and the flies were bothersome. Would definitely recommend and will go back again!!!

La Mo always has the best brunch dishes. Their chilaquilas was light and flavorful. Their Pueblo coffee was the perfect balance of dark chocolate, spices and coffee.

This was my first time at La Mo. I've heard about this place in the paper and also from co-workers. The atmosphere and ambiance is out of this world or at least outside and it's nice. You can choose to eat inside or outside or half and half. Over the chiliquillas would have potatoes and half black bean and also the Pueblo coffee. If we was okay ... If you serve season potatoes they should have a flavor not just coloring. The red bean sauce was okay. The bring tomatilla sauce with just that tomatilla sauce nothing spectacular. The chilaquiles was okay... Just okay. The Pueblo coffee was really good with a hint of warmth. You can also get it on ice. Go for the atmosphere with friends and enjoy the food.

The lemon ricotta pancakes with the blueberry compote are absolutely delicious! I also treated myself to a white sangria that has a champagne float on top and that too was fabulous. This is a cute little restaurant in the middle of downtown, and you can either sit outside or inside looking out. I just love this place, the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, and the restaurant is always clean.

The food and coffee was very good but I had better pancakes. I recommend everything except pancakes.

👍 Great variety of store to shop and restaurants to eat but make sure you are aware of the time because it is often super busy on weekends and certain hours of the day. Lunch time on any day of the week is always hectic. Get ready to wait!. Seems like the more hungry you are the longer the wait is goi...
