Wayne was able to create a perfect match to my engagement ring using some impressive scanning technology and along with that he fully understood my fiancé's vision for his ring and we couldn't believe how spot on he got it when we went in to collect the rings today. Couldn’t recommend them enough. We heard of Wayne as a referral from a friend. She described Wayne and the team as professional and great to work with. I also wanted to design a specific ring and she advised they could help with this. The experience from start to finish was incredible. Wayne was always very quick to respond and got us booked in at a time that suited us both. He then listened to what we were looking for and then advised how we could achieve this best with our budget. He helped us design the ring from scratch (including holding the actual stone in our hand!) and helped advise on best colour combos, long term care and holdings to make sure we were making the right choice. We found him to be extremely honest even guiding us away from a larger stone as he felt I’d find it too big (he was so right!). Paul then had a great process onwards with him as the ring was made with regular updates and a smooth retrieval of the ring without me knowing! The most beautiful engagement ring, don’t think I could have received more comments on how different, unique and beautiful the ring is! The team have continued to be great, with a complementary ring clean which has made it sparkle like new after 6 months of hard wear and battering on my finger! A team of grafters that hand your custom piece over in true elegance and comfort. By no means are the elements of this type of profession a clean pristine one, focused deep in their crafting, but they certainly make it appealing with the final result, brilliant. A mastery end product, crafted and suited specifically to our unique fingers. Wayne enabled us to blend on our ideas and designs, showed us a plethora of handmade samples and designs to further our imagination, eager and pleasant with excitement to fulfill our needs. Yet, teaching us in detail and suggesting what the ideal stone, metal and shape would reflect and compliment our 'digitus anularis', ring fingers. The life benefits, end product and uniqueness for a personal piece through DDF, out weights the extra you pay hands down with the majority of other companies and designers. Duration; we did not need to wait 4-6 weeks as per most places. His team had the engagement ring in 8 days and the wedding rings 7 days after our second meeting. As Wayne is a expert gemologist, my advice would be to educate yourselves a little so the experience is swifter and smoother. You can be confident in choosing DDF, whatever the occasion. I can't rate Wayne and the guys at DDF enough. After a christmas eve engagement I could not wait to get into the shops and find my perfect ring. I thought getting it made would take forever but not at DDF after one visit myself and Wayne designed my ring together. Wayne saw my vision and new exactly what I was looking for and his knowledge really put my mind at ease. Within 12 hours I had a 3D animation design of my ring and a matching wedding band. I was blown away. Once I gave the go ahead my ring was sparkling on my finger within 7 working days. After getting engaged in November, I found Dublin Diamond Factory through a Google search. I am a complete newbie when it comes to diamonds but Wayne was fantastic at explaining what was important to consider when choosing the perfect ring. Couldn’t rate Wayne and his team any more highly. I went in with just a rough idea of what I wanted for an engagement ring and with Wayne’s help we got exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately the ring was a lil too tight for my partners finger and the lads couldn’t have been more accommodating we dropped it in on Tuesday at 5pm and was sized an everything by 12 the following day. Your diamonds come with two certificates, one from Dublin Diamond Factory themselves and also an all important IGI cert also included in the price of our ring was lifetime cleaning and polishing of the ring and re dipping of white gold every 3 /4 years. It was a fast painless experience and also payment was made very easy for me. We ended up actually buying the bridal set in the end. Thank you so much to Wayne, Trevor and the Dublin Diamond Factory team for breathing new life into my Mam's engagement ring. It is a 1950's two stone diamond ring, gifted to me when my Mam passed away in 2018. Unfortunately I recently lost one of the stones and it would not have been possible to match the remaining stone without the difference being very obvious. Wayne removed the stone and created a beautiful diamond pendant , and put two new stones into the ring, building up the claws and ensuring the integrity of the original ring was retained. I recently contacted Wayne to have my engagement ring remade using the same diamond - similar style and metal but with a few changes to the band, setting, prongs etc. I wasn’t sure on what I wanted or if I really even needed to get it changed but I just wasn’t quite happy with the workmanship or look of the old ring (even though it wasn’t that old!!) Wayne was very responsive to my initial email and his communication throughout the process was very good. He was very honest with me about my original ring and he confirmed some of my worries about the way the ring was set and how it looked.
