This place is so fresh. First time having chimichurri and it was very good. I was definitely craving steak and this place delivered a very tender one. The mashed potatoes were so smooooth and creamy.

Warning this is Fun and friendly dining experience. Don’t go here unless you want to be wowed by a flavorful assortment of dishes healthy and or hearty. I loved the braised beef dish. It was like Asian comfort food. I loved every bite. It has an open atmosphere seating was comfortable and the staff was super helpful. We will be back

Yum Yum Yum! Urban plates is uniquely healthy, unusually delicious, and particularly enjoyable. Their prices fit their food, and fine customer service tops it off. I LOVE their chicken and enjoy their chips. Also, their sirloin seems to shake with deliciousness. Overall, give Urban Plates a try. And then another, and another, and another!

Urban Plate was way over expectations! We’re from out of town and had no idea where to go for a nice fresh lunch. What a jackpot! We had a nice size group, in for a business meeting, everyone found something on the menu that was totally satisfying. We all had such a great experience that we talked about these guys the whole next day. Urban Plate will be on the short list every time we’re in town.

I love Urban Plates and highly recommend it! I order the kid's steak plate - you get a great portion of steak and a side (I choose the mashed potatoes because they're DELICIOUS) as well as a drink! I take my family here for a casual meal when they visit from out of state. Everyone always finds something they love!

We love Urban plates, we have been coming here for a while because the food is always really good and feels like a home cooked meal. The service is always great but today Margaux made our visit even better then usual. She was very helpful, kind, and patient with us. Will be coming back to this location 100%

This place has been one of my favorite since I moved in Irvine. The food is great, healthy, and filling. And the staff is amazing, especially Lorraine. She is always so nice, and ready to suggest you the best picks in the menu. Try them out, you will love it !

Honestly I cant say much better things about coming here for lunch other than the food was amazing. 11/5 stars for anyone wanting healthy and affordable food. Check out their plate pass option, which is great for anyone in the area. I had to say the service was amazing, all thanks to Victor!!!

Drove up from San Diego to meet up with out of town family at a softball tournament and was asked to bring food. I was happy to find this Urban Plates so close to the sports complex. We were so fortunate to have Margaux take our order She was friendly and helpful with placing our order. (There was another staff member at the counter when we arrived; he did not acknowledge us. Margaux noticed us waiting to place an order and immediately walked toward the counter and waived us over to her register.) As we waited for our order, I noticed Margaux was constantly checking on orders, making drinks, and looking for ways to be helpful. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I would definitely recommend this location for excellent food and service!

I got their 3 chicken tender plate with an orange hibiscus soda and they were both pretty good, but the bread and the chicken sort of tasted a bit stale. I also got the broccolini and it smelled and tasted like fish so that was a bit gross.

Fantastic fresh food experience. Everything was outstanding. Great outdoor patio area and comfortable clean interior. Highly recommend.

Very disappointing... Urban Plates used to be one of my favorite places to eat. This time the food is below my expectations. The steak was like leather, chewy and inedible. The broccolini was salty. The feta cheese on the beets was one tiny dot. On top of that, they now put a 3% surcharge on the bill, quote to provide heath benefits to all full time employees unquote. So be aware. I wouldn't have known about this had I not looked at the receipt. I'm a generous tipper, but for what I paid for this lunch, I would give it a solid D.

We are regulars at Urban Plates and we love the food. Yuri helped us order our food, she was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to enjoy a delicious meal with great service!

My husband and I ate here and the food was delicious. The service was excellent. The manager, Kenton, was awesome. We will be back. I had the Asian chicken salad and my husband had the chicken tenders. We had a mango tart for desert. Everything was incredible.

My experience at Urban Plates is always 5 stars. Kenton the manager is always very welcoming and makes sure our food is correct and made with quality and love. The customer service is one to remember. The food is also delicious.

The staff here is amazing. Leslie, the cashier, is very friendly, and this location is always very clean. I go out of my way to drive to this location specifically because of how great the management staff is as well. The food is always made with fresh ingredients and tastes amazing.

Definately one of my favorite places to go eat! The food tastes absolutely wonderful and the atmosphere is really chill too!! I would suggest this restaurant to anyone in the area. Plus our server was extremely kind and helpful when we couldn’t decide what to eat!

There are Dine-in & Take out options, open for lunch & dinner! My favorite lunch & dinner go-to. There is a 20% off plate pass we take advantage of every month for $5.

I get dinner from here once a week for my family and me. The quality of food is always great and it’s already ready quickly so I can pick it up on my way home from work. We love the steak and chicken tender plates. It feels like very elevated comfort food, and it’s always flavorful and satisfying. I also do stop by for lunch or dinner every now and then and it’s a great place with an open atmosphere.

We are visiting Cali for vacation and Google searched a nice burger spot in the area and was recommended this establishment. They do not disappoint. I wish I would have taken a picture of the food but we ate it to fast. Great vibe, great customer service, would recommend to anyone in the area....

This place is my “go-to” when I want super yummy salads. Their salads are always fresh, robust and loaded. On this particular visit, Margaux made it extra nice because she took the time to indulge my curiosities about the menu. It’s apparent she enjoys interacting with patrons and has a very pleasant demeanor. A genial staff is a definite plus to the consistently good food!!
