I stayed at Hyatt House for 4 nights. Rooms were good and free breakfast was, well lets say OK. But, the main reason I am giving 1star (instead of 3), is that the parking lot here is not safe and I was misled by the staff that resulted in break in to my trailer and loosing lots of valuable and personal stuff. I had a trailer and I when I was checking in, I asked specifically about the over night parking and if it is safe. The staff assured me that it is the hotel parking and there will be no issue with parking. the guy specifically asked me to park in higher floors where it is quite and there are lots of parking space available. Well, he made it an easy target for the thief and I was idiot enough to trust him. The trailer got robbed over night :( Very disappointing. When I checked with them, it turns out they are renting parking space from another company and their insurance does not provide any coverage. There are also multiple entrances and with zero control on who gets in and comes out. Literally, a public parking space with no safety camera or what's so ever. When we told the story to another staff member and complained about the poor advices we have received during check in about the safety, oddly enough, she said she would have given us the same advice. I was shocked that they feel zero responsibility about you, and even after they saw the incident, they still make such statements. The next day, I saw another police car searching the parking lot, either for my case or maybe for another robbery report. If you have valuables, do not leave in the car and if you are someone like me with trailer, try other hotels nearby. Very disappointing service and will never stay in any Hyatt hotel.

overall good experience. $20 overnight parking rate. Breakfast is fine, no surprise. Room is clean. Staff are friendly. Only one thing, I was assigned room 718, a room near elevator on 7th floor. This room will hear equipment noise every time someone ride the elevator. I did not bother to change the room cause I have everything unpacked. I will recommend avoid this room or other room near elevator. Except that, this hotel is fine.

This is absolutely an amazing & gorgeous Hotel to stay in! I stayed 10 days with a service dog & immediately became family with the staff! They were incredible & loving!!! Abel, the Mgr. always greeted you with a heartwarming smile to meet whatever your needs may be & go beyond your expectations of them! The Staff was ABSOLUTELY the BEST!!! Their kindness, compassion & friendly greetings ALWAYS made you feel like family & truly didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this Hotel, it's convenient to many great Restaurants, Shopping & Sight Seeing walks around the area! Also, convenient to John Wayne Airport & Interstates.

I have stayed at a number of Hyatt House hotels in the past couple years. I love this most recent version of them with both the layout and the amenities. Even though I don’t always use the small kitchen area, it’s great to have the convenience of the small fridge and a microwave. I had a three night stay and the room was very comfortable. They even offer a daily maid service, which I have found rare this past year. I tried their breakfast one of the days one of the mornings and it was standard Hyatt hotel fare. The check-in went very smooth and I was able to check out through the Hyatt hotel app.

In the recent three months, I've stayed in 7 different hyatt hotels, and this is the worst one. There's no problem with the location, and the room was okay. I left a one star review because of the hotel manager's attitude and how she made her front desk staff treated me and my guests.

Clean up to date hotel. Decent size with kitchen which made it easy to prepare quick meals for the day for the family. Costco and shopping are less than 10 minutes away. Parking is adequate but for some reason they charge like 20/night for a parking garage that I found didn’t make sense for the hotel. It was painful to park and get your luggage to the room, recommend dropping luggage at the front door. They advertise chrome cast however the YouTube app would not run at all with it, said incompatible. No Apple TV. Pretty much left Amazon and Netflix. Most of the staff was excellent. Shower leaked onto the floor so we went through a lot of towels but room service was helpful

This was the perfect hotel to stay in for a quick overnight rest. I realize that it is more of a long-term stay place, but i'm glad I only had to spend one night. There were a lot of kids at the pool. I guess i'm turning into a grouchy old lady because the noise bothered me a bit. The breakfast buffet was a nice perk. It had something for everyone, including eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast, oatmeal, and yogurt. The room was spacious and clean. Overall it was a very nice stay.

The rooms are updated, spacious, clean and beautiful. Full of conveniences, including a microwave, dishes and cups, a fridge and dishwasher. One family member has severe pet allergies and they went above and beyond to carefully clean the room and offered foam pillows. They accommodated our need for a larger room at the last minute. The free breakfast had a ton of delicious options and the staff from the front desk to housekeeping to serving breakfast were so friendly and helpful. The blackout shades kept the room very dark at night and I couldn't hear the airport or the roads at all. If I could give them more stars I would.

First time in Orange County and was here for a work trip. I brought the whole family down and really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt House. Great location for us as it was close to the highway and short trip for local amenities such as the beaches, hikes and playgrounds. The room was very nice and everything was provided that we needed. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The provided breakfast was very good and had something for everyone in our family. The staff were friendly and we really appreciated the unusual early check in of 3 pm and late checkout of noon. Prior to coming I had a bit of communication with the hotel about adding or changing a day for our stay and they were not the easiest to work with. We also requested a crib when booking and there was none when we checked in. When we asked the front desk, one was promptly delivered. We would definitely stay again if the chance came up.

They are in a great location, with parking ($28 overnight), great access to the freeway and the airport, and very quiet. Stove, fridge and build in dining table in the room makes your long stay convenient. Free high speed WiFi, great water flow from the shower head, free breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausages we love!

We picked this hotel for 1 reason, the kitchen! When we first got into the room, we were so excited to see a fully stocked kitchen! There's pots and pan, utensils and even salt and pepper! However, when we actually started cooking, we immediately realize there's a problem, which is the very weak ventilation hood. Basically, the hood is non-exist. Another complain is the shower door cannot be completely closed, therefore, water is everywhere on the floor. We were staying for 1 night only so we did not bother requesting to switch room. Parking is $20 and there’s a covered parking lot behind the hotel. However, it makes it a bit difficult to load and unload the luggage. A bit of a walk from the parking lot to hotel back door. We unload our luggage at the front, and then one person stay at the front to keep an eye of the luggage, and another person parked the car. When we leave, it was a bit more challenging as we have to load our luggage at the back door. It was a one-way only so cannot go back to the front entrance. Otherwise, service is great. We forgot to bring HDMI cable and the hotel was able to lend us one during our stay. Breakfast is free and the tables are 30-40% fill up around 7am. Selections are limited. Gloves are provided for better hygiene. I overhead a guest commented on the breakfast that it was the same, daily, no change in variations at all, so she got sick and tired of it. I only stayed for 1 night so I couldn’t comment on it. One thing I want to highlight is this hotel is very environmental friendly. They provide a machine to refill water which helps to reduce plastic waste. Plates and cups at the breakfast area are also reusable. I find the blackout shade to be ok, there’s “track” on both sides to ensure the blackout shade to stay in place and minimize the gap between the window frames. The fridge does come with a freezer, which is nice as it is not a common feature in other hotels. Overall, I paid extra for the full kitchen, but it wasn’t as functional as I wish. May be this place is worthwhile to say, if you get a cooperate discount code for long term say.

The rooms at the hotel were pretty clean which is not very common in the LA area. Although the location of the hotel is pretty far out and then they charge 20$ for parking in the middle of nowhere which does not seem warranted, there were no noteworthy amenities and the provided chromecast connection in the room did not work. Also our toaster in the room was broken and the staff/management seemed pretty unaccommodating. I think it was a 2* experience mainly because of the lack of Covid safety at breakfast/around the hotel common areas, broken toaster/staff attitude, parking charges.

I enjoyed my stay, but if I could make one small suggestion: please install better blackout shades for the windows. My room let in way too much light from the streetlamps. Thanks!

Incredible service. Abel will Take care of you for sure. Very respectful help and they made every need we had a reality. Also we stayed here for 15 days. Breakfast is ok very repetitive but its ok for the price.

I give a one star because this hotel has a lots of dogs. I have really bad allergies to dog hairs they put me in the first room on second level where I can't breathe after switching room I still have allergies is smell like wet dog no matter where you go in the hotel. beside the dogs room ok not thing special.

Perfect property for my needs over the weekend. I had a suite w/kitchenette and easily accommodated eight for cocktails and appetizers. I didn't use the amenities, but there is an adequate pool and free breakfast.

Our stay was great! Most friendly staff, spacious room, nice and clean! I normally wouldn’t have high expectations for hotels by the airport, but Hyatt house is the best! Cindy and Evan at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The clean service staff is the most friendly I have ever seen. This would be my hotel to go every time I fly in Santa Ana!

Nice rooms, but terrible front desk service. Front desk refused to honor the Explorer status 2 daily water bottles. They said I forfeited them by not picking up before midnight of the night, which is nonsense because our hotel “stay” doesn’t end until 2PM checkout 14 hours later. The person at the front desk was extremely argumentative about it and made us feel unwelcome. Stay at Hyatt a lot (40 something nights this year) and never been more disappointed. We will never be staying at this location again.

I used this hotel for my Graduation trip..It was conveniently located close to the Graduation in the Honda Center in Anaheim but way too far from the LAX airport that I flew in and out of. The rooms were beautiful. I had 2 1 bedroom suites with 2 queen size beds in each with kitchens.. There was so much room I could have had more family members stay comfortably. The hotel staff and continental breakfast were also great. Love that it was also located a few minutes away from Walmart ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Very nice clean and spacious rooms. Gym has most equipment. Breakfast is okay, nothing special. Plenty of parking in the garage. Easy in and out.

Fabulous location for work training. Right next to the x+ building. Shuttle took us to and from the airport. Huge thank you Jasmine for her excellent service! Clean. Great amenities. The breakfast was great! Huge variety. Bar/restaurant was small and limited. But other options within walking distance. Jesus made the check in process simple and quick!

Excellent customer service, clean and easy check in and check out process. Good breakfast options. Gave the option when we checked in if we needed a crib which was a great added bonus we weren’t expecting. Would stay here again and would recommend.

Great location near airport and amenities. Hotel is clean and staff are professional. Room is modern and comfortable but expected a bit more for the price. Air conditioning is loud. Gym has weights and a few cardio machines. Breakfast is fairly standard but good overall.

I work at Hyatt my self , all I can say is this hotel is absolutely gorgeous . The front desk team leader was great acknowledging I was a Hyatt employee offering me 1 Pm check out and a suite upgrade was amazing . The night auditors were really nice too . Absolutely would stay here again for a staycation with my girlfriend

Loved this hotel! Clean, nice rooms, and friendly staff. We loved it so much we booked another stay at the Hyatt House for our next out of state trip!

Not thrilled with the check-in I had but YNMV. It's hard to keep breakfast eggs hot on a paper plate once you set it on the marble counter or table. I did have a great experience though when I wanted to get on the 5 AM shuttle to the airport. The man working had a contingency plan in order had the temporary staff shortage (resolved) kept him from driving the shuttle

It was a pretty great stay overall, my only complaint is that you wake up to doors slamming. The doors are heavy/thick which is a great thing but makes it so you hear anybody open/close doors on the floors above and around you. Other than that the room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nice, clean, modern efficiency rooms. Nice kitchenettes for extended stays. Nice breakfast, filtered water dispensers so you have good water to drink in your rooms and to make coffee and tea with! Enjoyed our stay

I stayed here for 3 nights for business. The room had a small kitchenette with an island that is perfect to work from. The employees were all very friendly & responsive to guests. The breakfast has a wide variety that has something for everyone. I would recommend them for an extended stay!

Second stay here and one of the best hotel stays I ever had. Staff is great and friendly and hotel super clean. Beds are comfortable, rooms are modern. Great breakfast (love the provided gloves so you don't touch the same serving utensils). If you are staying in the area this is the one to go. Self-parking is steep at $20 but that might be comparable to other hotels.
