A hidden gem of a venue. We came for the Cuban music and loved the drinks, dancing, and overall vibe. I will definitely look at other events to come back!!

Fantastic venue for the Fundraiser this evening. Great service, and parking isnt all that bad either.

Really cute little gem in Old Town. The indoor space is decorated beautifully and is open and spacious. Their sidewalk patio is cute, and we enjoyed the live music on the Saturday evening we were there. Decent little menu with sandwiches and other great nibbles to pair with their tasty cocktails. The service was very friendly. I would recommend a stop if you're cruising around Old Town.

Had a great experience with UrbanBeat for a company Christmas party. The space was warm, inviting and beautifully decorated. The in-house Italian themed catering was delicious. Prices were reasonable and staff were friendly and very pleasant to work with. Would definitely book here for a future event.

We were at urban beat for open mic on Wednesday night and enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendliness of Thomas, who waited on us, as well as other people who waited on us. My daughter was singing during the open mic and a large group of us were there. The food was amazing! We just appreciated the extra care Thomas gave us! Can't wait to go back!

I was there for a company function we rented the business out for the evening. Let me tell you about the charcuterie table! Dried fruits, assorted nuts, vegetables, fresh fruits, meats and cheeses. They did an outstanding job on that. I really wish that our company selected them for the meals as well. We ended up out-sourcing the meal and it was from a local BBQ place. I won't say who but it was terrible. The manager and staff did a great job keeping everyone happy. I would recommend this place for small gatherings of 100 or less.

The atmosphere was awesome on open mic night and drinks were decent! I would save your money and go somewhere else for food though (the food is 0/5) for reference we got a sandwich, hummus and pita and the charcuterie board

Went to watch a band this past Saturday (great band). Service was not good, forgot drinks for our table multiple times, and let drinks go empty for way too long. Food that was ordered came out cold and was made wrong (didn’t match what was on the menu).

This is an absolutely amazing venue. It was my first time there, and the atmosphere was primed for great music, conversation, food, and friends!

I had a great time. The staff was very friendly and professional and the overall experience was good. This is a nice venue. My cousin had his 50th birthday party here and it was very nice. We have a big family and it was enough room to accommodate everyone. It was my first time here.

The bar tender was new and drinks where very slow to get to table. But, fantastic place and atmosphere. Always a good time

I don't appreciate a meal being served during the comedy show. That is disrespectful to the performers. I was served a meal containing meat when I ordered vegetarian. The atmosphere is nice. The staff were nice and the bartender was great.

Nicole is the best! I am so glad we came in and had some drinks tonight, the service couldn’t have been better! Did I accidentally select the “thumbs down” option when reviewing the service post-payment? Maybe. But here I am righting my wrong. Y’all are the best, Nicole, you’re killing it.

We attended an event here to see a friend. I had never been, and was given the impression is was a nice place. The building was quite nice, but they oversold tickets, packing more people in than I can believe is legal. Their was almost no elbow room and many of the tables for this "premier" venue were plastic folding tables. This led to the worst part, the food and drinks. We arrived a little early and waited almost an hour for a server to stop at our table. Another half hour for our drinks, and they never came back for us to order food. After 3 hours almost nobody in the place even got a chance to order food, let alone get any. We left early to go eat at Ozones. The other piece that bothered me was that the musicians were great, and deserved better. The tickets had to be purchased, and were obviously oversold intentionally. The folks sitting next to us said this happens all the time. The Urban Beat just sells more tickets than seats and everyone has to suffer for it.

My husband and I had a wonderful date night here for our 17th anniversary! Delicious food and drinks (curry and palomas), beautiful space, wonderful live jazz, friendly staff. What a fun place to relax and enjoy a romantic partner or a gathering of friends.

Lady was hands down the BEST bartender!! She was polite, knowledgeable, and fast. I will definitely return to have some of Lady's cocktails.

Great venue to enjoy live music. Drinks made well and could order food. Bartenders were not consistent with pricing... changed $9, then $14 for the same drink.

It's a great live music venue. The service and bar do a great job. Drinks are worth it. Food is still a work in progress. It's the only reason islt gets a 4 and not a 5. Keep evolving and growing!!

Open stage was an absolute blast with a wide variety of talent. Lounge vibes and wonderful entertainment. The bartender worked her butt off to take care of everybody and absolutely killed it.

We came here to listen to a band. The seating is very comfortable. We ordered a charcuterie plate to share and it was excellent. We also had the meatballs on rice. My only complaint is, their menu is limited and do not have regular bar food.

First time there. Enjoyed the entertainment. Had the hummus and pita. A little bland. But ok. Will go back.

Intimate, sophisticated, and stunning jazz venue in Old Town Lansing. Great jam sessions with gifted local and international jazz musicians. Don't miss this!

The music was great. The only problem was you have a late show but no food. Plus the bartender doesn't know how to make a drink. I would come back to see if you can receive those five stars

Been here multiple times to watch my brother in law perform. Cool interior and acoustics are great. Decent drink prices and a good selection of draft and bottle beer. We usually have a great time! Last time we were here, the male manager was creepy af. He kept staring at me and I’d catch him doing it, so he stared harder back at me! He made me feel super uncomfortable 😳 so watch your backs ladies, literally.
