I am stunned that so many gay travel websites list this as the top gay sauna in Quito. The place is literally decrepit, felt like you are inside a shanty town structure while there. Went there a Saturday late afternoon, the supposedly busiest time. It was busy (which is the only reason this is 2/5 and not 1/5), but the clientele is predominantly unattractive (not fit, average 50+) with creepy manner and leering look. Stayed for 30 minutes, walked every floor and every corner of the venue, decided to cut my losses short. Thankfully, cover was only $8 USD, so it was really not a big deal. Lesson, pay an extra dollar and head to Robles.
