Great experience. We slept a night in the hut. There were nets above the beds and we didn't see much of insects. The restaurant is good too. Food is good and dishes are plentiful. We hiked in the jungle with Josué, our guide. He was so nice with us. You can see that he is passionate by the jungle. We left the room on the morning because the checkout time was 11h30. They told us that we could use the public showers after the hike in the jungle but it was not working. No water. Most of the room were empty because it's not the high season. They could have let us take a shower in our room when we got back at 12h. But that's was the only negative thing. Everything else was great and it's really worth it.

Beautiful place with amazing Mayan crew. Little kid was playing games with and teaching us Mayan. The food here is great and the portions are big.

Our cabaña was ok, good enough but by the road (luckily it is almost no traffic) and we could hear the room by ours as they were with us. Food was good and prices were ok. The best thing was a 4 hours walking tour in the jungle. Rocio was a 5 stars guide! Girls working at the reception/restaurant were really really nice, sweet and welcoming. Only Alejandro ( he took us to Bonampak and then to the main road ) was kind of rude

Very friendly staff and an excellent location were strong points. Our cabaña was steps from the river and a wonderful place to swim and cool off in the jungle. It was very quiet at night. The bed was comfortable, and 3bedding and towels first rate. The cabaña was pretty dark but we were given chairs to sit outside. Food was fine but a bit pricey. A good location for jungle hikes and a short drive to Bonampak.

Basic there is wifi only in the restaurant and no ac. But it is quiet and restful

It was much more than I expected. This whole trip fits that description. Life in the highland rainforest.
