The hotel is in a good location and it is easy to find. The travel agency booked it and I'm glad they did. The rooms need to be updated but they are clean and have comfortable beds, good air conditioner, complimentary water and coffee. The check in and out were easy and fast. The breakfast was included and the buffet style was complete. The beach like pool is family ready since it is not deep. You can get your haircut, massage, facial and more at the hotel. Best of all, the hotel is affordable.

Old property old rooms. Lobby, restaurant and pool are in good condition. We had a few problems while staying here. First problem we encountered was the internet is not good, our room electricity went out one of the seven nights we stayed, the elevator didn’t work for the last 3 day we were there, we had a cockroach in our room, the carpet in the room is old and dirty, theres some mold in the shower, bathroom looks really outdated, we had to use the emergency stairs to get to our room because elevator didn’t work and the stairs smell like bad humidity and there was a cockroach on the stairs. Parking stalls are very reduced. The reception people are too serious(we weren’t treated bad but they weren’t cheerful as in other hotels we’ve stayed at) the bellman (older sir) was really attentive and cheerful. He made our night the day we checked in. He gave us info about the hotel and services and even recommended some taco stall to eat that night. He was really grateful with the tip we gave him and was always asking if everything was ok. Housekeeping girls always left waters and clean beds. My suggestion to the hotel is to get rid of the ugly carpet at the rooms, renovate bathrooms, get a better internet provider, get elevator fixed and train reception better. Not everyone at reception is serious and in a bad mood but they could be more welcoming.

A mixed bag staying here, especially for the price. Pros: amazing staff, good bed, good shower and bathroom. Good coffee machine too. Cons: really loud music until 4am from the karaoke bar across the road - the windows do not seal at all, so you can hear every word of it. The pool was closed for "maintenance" during our entire stay - not mentioned at check in or whilst booking online. The best they could do was offer to ship us to the Hilton, as if you want to get in a shuttle after swimming and drive across the city - frankly we think this should involve a discounted rate for rooms. Loud stone chiselling directly under our room for several hours two days in a row. Food in the restaurant is overpriced and low quality, though again staff were lovely. Generally speaking I wouldnt stay here again with these issues.

We were accomodiated in room 320 first, for 2 nights but as it was very, very loudly (it was regular party right behind the window) we were moved to room 518. Noise and loud music were nothing compare to lack of higiene, cleanless in the Hotel. WE WERE BITTEN BY bed bugs. We came back after our vacation with prominent blister and skin rush. Horribel experience. Mattress were very old, full of bed bugs. In bathroom we also found cockrouch.

Reception was understaffed and overwhelmed. We, along with most people from the same flight, had to queue for around 45 minutes to check-in. The receptionist, Ulises, tried to get us to agree to switch from our reserved double room (for two adults traveling with two preschoolers) to a room with a King size bed, which we did not accept. The hotel had run out of clean/empty rooms, and were asking people to hang out at the pool area until rooms freed up. The receptionist next to us offered other guests a late check out the following day to make up for the inconvenience, but we were not offered any such thing. It really felt like "Budget, by Marriott". It's a shame because restaurant, cleaning, and bellhop staff were friendly and helpful, but our first impression was extremely negative. A bellhop said there had been a concert the previous night and the sold out hotel couldn't cope with late check outs, but honestly some basic courtesy (maybe a glass of water while we waited, maybe a uniform approach to compensate guests, maybe even a simple "sorry you had to wait") would have gone a long way. I tried to talk to the manager about it but was told she hadn't come in yet, and finally we decided to check out early the next day. Really disappointed.

The hotel looks and feels old, rooms smells like my grandma’s house, the walls are thin & Its very close to night clubs. So there’s noice all night long. The food is barely eatable. In other hand the customer service is great and the bed is really comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. But its not the worst hotel either.

Terrible experience. Don’t come here if you need to rest. There’s a bar accross the street playing loud live music all night long. Imposible to get any sleep. After talking to front desk for a while they changed me into another room, which was next to a room where there was a party going on. The whole hotel is shady, hard to believe is under Marriot’s wing.

It's very noisy. The staff pushes around noisy trolley cars starting from 7am, all noise from the corridors get to the rooms. There are many other good hotels in the area at the same price level, better to go there if you prefer a quite ambient.

This is definitely a NOT 5-star hotel, perhaps a 2-star. The shower head have mold. Ripped towel and bed sheet dispensed. Amenities partially working or not at all. Marriott, what happened to the high standards?

It's a beautiful quiet place. An excellent service. To be such a prestigious hotel they should pay a little more attention to the beds, the cleaning is excellent but they should keep them in better condition

Absolutely not up any standards, not clean for this level, waiting at reception, issues with digital keys, no Elevator to bring you and luggage back to the lobby. Basically, sorry to say, but a pity of imported USA hotel.

Nice place, wasn't noisy in my room. Downsides are its located away from everything, you'll need a car/taxi to go anywhere, and the restaurant was amazingly slow and awful. Ordered huevos rancheros, the most staple of dishes for breakfast; it took nearly 30 minutes to come and was honestly the worst rancheros I've ever had. Overcooked eggs, stale tortillas, and sauce obviously from a jar which was totally tasteless. Overpriced as well. Shame as everything else in the hotel was good.

Good service, nice lagoon pool, decent facilities. The gym is well-equipped. This is not a 5* hotel by usual standards. The rooms are dated. I would personally classify this hotel as a 3* based on personal experience staying in hotels all over North America. We paid for and requested a high floor with city view room but we not given a city view. As we realized afterward and were tired from travel, we did not request this change from the front desk. The location of the hotel is perched on top a hill, so you need to taxi/drive to reach nearby restaurants or malls. We enjoyed our visit, not sure if we would book again in future.

We showed up sick with fever and+ and the staff was super helpful finding us a great doctor. We were very demanding: asking for water and tissues etc and they always obliged in a timely manner. The virus we got screwed our traveling plans but we are sure glad it happened when we decided to spoil ourselves with a Marriott. Great service. Only thing: they don't have black tea?!

Far from the airport and from downtown but taxis are cheap and easy to find. The swimming pool is gorgeous. Excellent Marriott standard.

This hotel is very outdated, I expected alot more from a Marriott. The room was very old. The room service was very slow. The restaurant in the hotel was horrible. Luckily there is other places outside the hotel. The pool was very small and was always dirty. It's hard to find an employee to ask questions around the hotel. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location and the gym.

Overall it was a good experience! Met by valets who took the car for tips, no charge for on site parking! The location of the hotel is also great, lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Our only complaints were: no hand towels or wash cloths in the room whatsoever, no refrigerator which is odd for a Marriott.. and the shower was full of long black hairs! Hairs strung along the walls and clumped in the corner.. made me concerned with the cleanliness of the rest of the room! I just expected a little more from a Marriott but it probably wouldn’t deter me from giving it another try sometime because the property itself was beautiful and centrally located!

It’s an older but really nice hotel. I felt very safe. The place is really huge and has a nice open air atrium that looks like it would be a lot of fun in the summer time.

Absolutely impeccable service! Incredibly polite and accommodating. If you asked for a pterodactyl riding a unicorn, this hotel would deliver. They do not tell you where things are, they show you. Great food, fantastic rooms, a bed directly from heaven, and a wonderful bar. I swear, I could happily live here for the rest of my life.

I chose this hotel to enjoy an afternoon by the pool, before flying back. Turns out, the pool is closed for maintenance works. They told me after payment. Unacceptable. No one advised me beforehand. Breakfast: for 255 MXP per person you get a very limited buffet, not to Marriott’s standard. Also: hot chocolate and cappucinos are considered extras. Service is slow, my chocholate arrived after I finished my meal, left it untouched, was still charged for it (no pool, not even a small courtesy gesture, fantastic). Room: outdated
