Had a great time here it was fantastic to meet some of the locals, which were extremely friendly and always willing to take me out to dance. One of the individuals I met was an elderly man, who gave me the scoop on half of the town that was there dancing lol I laughed the entire night and enjoyed the atmosphere tremendously. Even met The Queen of El Parque de la Marimba she introduced her self as such, but the elderly man told me that she was actually not the queen haha but considered herself the I-Ternal queen in the park! Highly recommend this little spot!

This is your standard urban park in Latin America. Not amazing, not horrible. Decent place to stop and sit on a park bench to tie your shoe or watch some pigeons looking for crumbs. Pretty uneventful overall.

I was there on a Thursday and Friday night, and both nights there was a marimb band playing in the kiosk with people dancing all around it. Fun place.
