A real treat after the journey through this magical zoo. I love taking my kids here to explore, there is always something new that we discover!

There aren't that many different animals to see, but a cool part of the zoo is that it's animals all native to the state of chiapas and they were pretty awesome. There were even some animals not in enclosures! It was a decent amount of walking, some uphill and the guided tour took around 2.5 hours

If you ever come to this city, pay a visit to this zoo. The work they do with animals is crucial and the care they take of them is amazing. The ZooMAT is a must go, just pay attention to their service hours.

We loved being in the jungle at Zoomat, & how all the animals are from around Mexico & have lots of space, like they’re in their own natural environment. Our kids enjoyed seeing deer running free & some birds wandering around as well. Walking around to see all the animals took about 2 hours, which was a great way to spend the afternoon.
