Great Monument and Cross. You need to take a taxi or your car to get there. Parking is 10 pesos. Spectacular view of the city and sunset over the mountain. Park isn't finished yet around Monument. Nice view of the city. There's a new restaurant up there which has great food while you enjoy the view.

It looks like a place in decadence, the main staircase is not open, when you arrive with your car a guy in a palapa will charge you 15 pesos and gives you no ticket, then you park in a big area where there is no one. Renewal works seem to be undergoing but nobody is working. The best part is the views of the city of Tuxtla.

If you are feeling religious while you are in Chiapas this is a place to visit. It’s located in the town of Copoya, about 20 minutes from Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The Christ is so magnificent and powerful. Inside they have a small museum and restrooms. You can also enjoy a very nice view of Tuxtla Guitierrez.

The place is clean but acces is complicated. The staff got better & service is good now. We were ablr to appreciate the chapel. A mass was held while we were there. Nice.

It's a great place to visit. You go there, you can see some little religious history of the city. Inside the Great Christ you can enter to a little room in which mass is celebrated. You only pay $10 Mexican pesos to get in. You just pay the parking lot. I have to tell you that there are no bathrooms or stores to buy food or drinks. There's just one little stand selling some tipical food and drink from the region. The Great Christ is very high and there's a second level where you can see clearly the city.

Wonderful views. The walking map on Google takes you to a closed gate, but if you take a different one, the car one, you can get in.
