Great place. We had a nice room with baby for ourselves , windows to the backyard so very quiet. And the hostel has also a chilled vibe, good for family, no party or crazy people, friendly stuff and nice hot shower.

Peraonal is very nice and helpful, free water, free WiFi, very cozy place, good location, but with the room we were not lucky. I believe they have normal rooms as well, but we were unlucky and got a very poor quality room, the ceiling with a torn finish is unventilated and the biggest problem is mold. During the few days of the stay, all the clothes were absorbed by the unpleasant smell of mold, the former dry clothes became wet, so don’t even dream about drying the clothes. We got the bed sheet with the holes because the previous client apparently smoked in the bed. By the way, smokers sometimes came to our door to smoke, which is very annoying. The former shared shower and toilet next to our room was in a very poor condition, but a newly renovated shower and toilet are available in the nearby premises. I don’t mean to say that all the rooms are like that, maybe we just didn’t get lucky enough to get such a room.

Is i nice chill place which I like. Felt a little out of the center but its actually good location. The volunteers were good. One of the volunteers was super nice and welcoming. The rooms need some deep cleaning and there were things from the people that stayed before and left still there. Also we practically had only one shower. As it was broken and the other was outside and it was too cold to shower.

After traveling all over, I can't stress enough how wonderful this hostel is. The staff is wonderful, the long term community easily accepts new people, even goes out of their way to include them. You can leave your doors unlocked (although I can't speak for people who may come later), great music, wonderful movies, plenty of games, great fresh and inexpensive food, comfortable beds, I could go on & on. The staff are very helpful, friendly and also are very good people. You can get the tranquil experience in the front room, or a more social/party atmosphere in the back courtyard. The art is spectacular, the ambiance is perfect. I intend to stay here forever. Hands down, the best hostel I have ever stayed in.

maybe im confused about what co working means. the marketing sounds like a new era of professionals fleeing overcrowded cities and then living in harmony in the mountains ..trading bitcoin or teaching each other yoga or doing something ( anything at all..to justify this generation of rapidly aging youths is somehow different and more in-tune and advanced) and what you find is college dorm polluted by volunteers..most of whom were mufti lingual and friendly enough.( volunteers change regularly so past performance….) the problem is ..what is left is a hostel like all other hostel and on the bread and butter of what makes a hostel good this one is lower than average: the sheets, blankets and mattresses. the lack of ventilation in the rooms and the hot water at specific hours are all lower quality than any number of places on the same block that charge less.

Amazing staff, really well located. Felt in a family for the week I've stayed in. Big up to the owners, Brandon, David, and HUGE mention to Sam. Helped me and the guys all along the week. Keep it up!

Dirty ! It’s a junky landmark ! They never clean up the hostel even if the staff is friendly... I found hairs in my bed, Tobacco in the bathroom etc... It smells weed everywhere!

I didnt like tht the onwer was focus only on the long term guests, and the argentinian brunette that lives there was heavy energies. the place can be cleaner, maybe works better if the cleaning lady instead of making phone call keeps room clean!?

This is a beautiful, welcoming hostel, in the centre of town. The owner is very nice, & an excellent chess-player. There are stunning murals all over the space, with hints to Mayan mythology. The people who work there are warm & always ready with information regarding tours, getting around San Cristobal etc. There are a range of rooms - dorms & private rooms, which are comfortable, clean and colourful, as well as a shared kitchen space, which is always buzzing with delicious aromas. The wifi is quick and reliable, the showers are hot from dawn to dusk, and there is a roof terrace where you can practise yoga with views of San Cristobal and the mountains beyond. Thanks again!

Super cosy, BIG, spacious and homey hostel. Family dinners, movie nights, Hiking etc. Best vibe. Its unbelievably quiet, and very central. Loved this place. Amazing people and the best Cumbia in Mexico. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
