With so many parks in the area, this one definitely makes the top 3! Lots of wildlife to admire and sunshine to catch. There are cute little resting areas to enjoy too. The Lilly pad pond is beautiful when its in bloom 😊 Grab an ice cream and go explore the trails 🌞

It's a nature park not a park to picnic in. More for walking around and seeing wild flowers and trees. Kinda like a hike in the mountains but all on one level. It's beautiful.

Whether is a rainy or sunny day Albertsons Park is a must visit. Park is well maintained with paths that loop from a small walk to a nice long stroll. There is a restroom farther into the park and another at the parking lot. Beautiful water features and lots of animals to enjoy. Watch the water, there are fish and turtles for the whole family to spot and enjoy. There are pavillions to rent through the city for events as well. This Park is a must visit for sure. Only feedback for anyone coming to visit, this would not be the first Park to choose to bring you furry friends. The wild life there is excellent to watch from a distance, but watching dogs disturb them is never fun for anyone. I would suggest leaving them behind or choosing another one of the many parks in the area to visit.

We caught this park one evening during the sunny weather and it is sooo beautiful! You can feel the design intent they put into this park - everything was so beautiful and well laid out. Highly recommend you take a few minutes to walk through.

Beautiful park and an easy walk that loops around. So many pretty fall colored trees and birds singing, a perfect afternoon walk.

I've lived in Idaho most of my life, and this was my first experience with this little piece of paradise. The park is extremely peaceful and beautiful. You really hardly realize that you're in the middle of Boise.

It's a truly beautiful park. There are lots of trails, scenic spots, and open spaces. Great for nature walks and animal watching.

The park has birds of different kinds flying everywhere, turtles, ducks everywhere, fish, insects, a fountain that shoots water from out of rocks, and two pavilions you can reserve for parties. Also, it has little trails all over the place, it's a little woodsy. They have restrooms outside and inside the park.

A well maintained 41acre park on side of Boise river in Boise city having well paved wide pathways, ponds, fountain. Park as well as parking both are wheel chair accessible. You can watch wildlife also. Dog are allowed. Clean public toilets. Gardens well maintained. Lot of flowers. Remain open from sunrise to sunset. Biking, fishing, boating, swimming not allowed.

October 2023: We took the family on a nice late-september stroll in hopes of finding a spot to host our 2024 wedding ceremony. Goal achieved! Beautiful and quite place to laugh and spot flowers, insects, fish, turtles, deer, birds, etc. The kids had a great time, and mom and dad swooned over the thought of being married there next year! The weather was perfect, and the location (Rookey) was breathtaking. As a bride who had no intention in a "rustic/barn" wedding, my options were limited within the valley. The price and beauty of Kathryn Albertsons can not be beat. I DO recommend that you call the BP&R phone and get your reservations taken care of through an actual employee. I set my reservation through their website and then found out 4 weeks later that there was a DT boise event that interfered with our chosen wedding date. So CALL CALL CALL so you do not get a stressful phone call before it's too late to change your wedding date. *will update after wedding ceremony takes place*

This is one of Boise's greatest treasures when it comes to parks. The wildlife is phenomenal. Great place to take pictures! Highly recommend a nature walk.

Great place for a nature walk, beautifully kept and maintained and the grounds are respected by all. Perfect for families of all ages and couples alike. Information about the wildlife is posted in the areas where the animals tend to hang out and there are plenty of benches to sit and watch the wildlife as well as dedicated areas off the trails to do more of the same.

I come here to take really cool pictures of nature because it is a hub of activity for many different animals, including deer. I love to come here if I need to clear my head.

One of the most beautiful parks that is pure magic. All my children went here for prom photos and as a family we have done family portraits here. But walking the loop and enjoying the wildlife is really what this park is about. It’s easy for anyone any age to enjoy walking the park.

Nice place to walk the dog. Except today geese (and their poop) were everywhere throughout the park. Our dog was unamused, I think he views them as food. The geese look like the same ones that will show up in droves in Anchorage later this month.

Complete landscape overhaul since the last time we were there. Nearly all the sod has been replaced with native grasses, flowers and other vegetation.
