All staff are friendly and couldn't do enough to make a patient feel comfortable; meals are superb and a mere 7 days since my first hip replacement I'm climbing stairs, walking almost unaided (having used crutches for 6 months) and in almost no pain thanks to daily physio. Maja, the patient care co-ordinator is exceptional in her role as travel facilitator, from advising on flights and pre- op requirements to popping to the shops for emergency dry shampoo! I had worried about having an operation abroad. Now, I can't wait to come back and have my second hip replacement in a few months time. I only wish I'd stopped hoping the UK waiting lists would shrink faster and just got on that plane!
