Fun bar for live music, we saw a great band singing a variety of genres, generally pop funk. The food is ok, sort of International tapas and mixed dishes, there are much better places for food in the area. I didn't enjoy the amount of smokers all around us inside the restaurant, it's unpleasant but I guess if it's allowed then you just have to deal with it. Service was great and they have a happy hour for cocktails before 8pm which is great value. The lychee martini was lovely!

Came here based on good rating on Google Maps, with the hope of listening to a good music. I went here on Saturday night, ordered a pork rice bowl and a glass of beer. I enjoyed the food, but the portion too small to makes me full. So I ordered another chicken burger. The food was good, but the portion is too little for me. The great thing here is the atmosphere and the songs they played. I'm very satisfied and enjoyed my time here. They have different genre each day, and Saturday is Blues! Definitely will be here again for another day to try another kind of genre.

This bar is great for music and entertainment in the form of dancing. The staff however give you no breathing room when trying to casually drink. More than once my drink was taken away before finished. I ordered a water that never came instead they rushed a check before confirming if my friend and I were finished drinking. My bad interactions were with the person I snapped a picture of last minute.

Stumbled upon this bar after our shopping walk. Live band were playing - Blues & Funk genre. Food was tasty especially the burger. Chicken was juicy and flavourful! Short of 1 ⭐️ as the mojito was disappointing - couldn’t taste the rum.

Definitely open!!! and comedy shows on Sunday night starting at 7pm. Blues on Saturdays. Acoustic freestyles on mondays 8-11pm

If you like live music, visit the Laughing Buddha on a Friday night. The band performing is simply amazing. I have to subtract one star though: “please wait for change” they said, but never came back. After 10 minutes I left, since it was not much. But anyhow, this is something you just don’t do!

February 2024 definitely the most vibey place in all of JL Monkey Valley.we were there when the salsa band played.people definitely go there to show off their salsa dance skills.nice to watch..or join and have fun.the band were excellent especially keyboard player and the singer

Laughing Buddha Bar has great vibe especially at evening 7pm onwards. The live music is really a bliss and the international crowd makes it a great vibe. The food with so many options on the menu makes it easier to choose as well. Moreover this is at right close to monkey forest and most hot spot i would say. If you are in Ubud and wanna have some nice music and grab a drink, this place is the right choice.

Stayed in a hotel about 10 minutes away and just had some late night hunger kick in. Wasn’t able to register for gojek delivery so I contacted the restaurant through whatsapp and they booked the delivery for me. Very grateful and very easy process :) Thank you so much. For the pricing, it was only around 100k in IDR (around $10 AUD) and then less than $2 AUD for delivery. Altogether around $12 😊 pretty good. The food was a very good taste of Balinese cuisine compared to lots of the westernised food offered in Bali. Very enjoyable and not too heavy for a late night snack. 😇☺️☺️ Very happy 😊

Very small portion for the price. 110k for a really small chicken dish. In Indonesia you can eat a lot with it. Although it was tasty and with a cool band.

Good concept and friendly staff, but the comedy can be quite cringe worthy and uncomfortable/disturbing at times. Food tasted okay, however quite pricey for what you get. Nice setting and vibe.

Food was great. Live band performance on a Friday night was a needed retreat on a rainy Bali night. Get a table early for a good view of the stage, it gets packed around 10pm until closing. You'll end up sitting with other tourists if there's room and that's one way of socializing.

I soooo love this place! Went here for a drink and they have live music (band is different everyday) - I went on a weekday. It was the best! One of my happiest days in Bali!

We were here for Dinner and on that day it was live jazz music. Music team was amazing. Their lead singer is having amazing voice and flute artist, guitarist and band was superb. Our happiness was multi folded when we found Samosa here.

Good vibes and great show from the Cool Tones Saturday night. The Buddhalicious burger was nothing special. It seems they just use Buddha to make it sound more fancy.

Had a really fun Saturday night here! The band was some of the best live music we've heard in Bali - they had people clapping, singing and dancing! The food was great - we shared 4 tapas dishes between 2 of us, all were yum and vegetarian too, plus 2f1 cocktails before 8pm! Can recommend having a gin and tonic too.

The venue had a great ambience and enjoyable music, however, the service was unsatisfactory. Our order consisted of several starters and two main courses, one of which was the Thai Red Curry. Unfortunately, the curry had a sweet taste and contained tomatoes, which we didn't like. We politely requested the manager to replace it with a different dish, but he appeared uninterested and didn't offer any alternatives. Consequently, we decided not to consume the curry, but we were still charged for it along with the steamed rice. It seemed that the bar was overcrowded, and the staff didn't prioritize providing quality customer service. The Laughing Buddha café was a prime example of such substandard service in Bali.

Always an amazing time, great drinks, amazing live music. I got every couple nights! Dance, drink, eat, meet new friends and have fun!!

We ordered the crispy chicken wontons and the Vietnamese chicken rice paper rolls and both were yummy.. they have life music every day and the close at 1 am .

The menu was vast with vegetarian options and asian fusion stuff to eat. The music keeps you vibing and ordering for alcohol. The people are all in a good mood at Laughing Buddha Bar.

We discovered the place while strolling around. We were caught by an amazing band playing beautiful old-time blues! We ordered couple of drinks, decently priced. Highly recommended to visit the place for a drink and listen to the Cool Tones who are playing on Saturday!

Great experience here for dinner and drinks. Happened to be on a Thursday for band night. Food was really good. Added bonus that we enjoyed listening to the band. Great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely would return.

Comedy night show supposedly but turned out to be a bad jokes night. Definitely not coming back. Racist jokes done very tacky 👎🏻

Hands down .. loved the ambience and we had stumbled upon this place. We were lucky enough to get seats but it's difficult. Also it was a Thursday so heard live band performance. Regarding food: had burgers and a dessert. Everything good but not mind blowing as such. Portion size was decent for one person.
