The waitress gave us one menu even though there were four of us. The portion was really small and rice is not included. The "fresh queezed orange juice" is very thin and watery with a lot of ice to safe orange. Butter chicken is nothing special. Prices are too high for what they offer.

Best Indian food in Bali! The Naan is the best you can get on the island (I've been to every Indian restaurant in Bali). The place is pretty much always empty so the atmosphere is very quiet. The indoor seating is perfectly cooled, contrasting with the hot delicacies we were served. This place is great for bringing family and friends - just be aware that the prices are moderately high. If you're looking for amazing Indian food, this is the place to go!

Best Indian restaurant with great taste and quality. The place is well maintained and clean with friendly staff. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. For the outdoor there were monkeys roaming which the staff kept away through slings but still it can be a disturbance while eating either to protect ur food or belonging as the monkey forest is nearby.

I ordered takeaway food yesterday from the one located in Ubud and there were plastic threads in my Kulcha. It seems they didn’t sieve the flour. Quite disappointed seeing such a good brand with nice food in terms of quality and quantity can go wrong with the basics.

If you are in BALI and want Indian food Just go to this place and you will love the authentic Indian cuisine here. But staff is not so welcoming as it is everywhere in BALI. I don’t know the reason but something missing in hospitality. But food is good so can try ignoring staff if they are not welcoming.

A wonderful and kind reception by the staff and the Indian chef, his style is beautiful in his dealings with me. The food is frank and the flavor is international. I have not tried Indian food like this of its beauty. And the desserts they have mango kulfi and saffron are very delicious. Very delicious. I wish them to stay for the best. 100 stars for you

Tastiest Indian food here in all over Bali. They have vast range of Curries , Biryanies and snacks to choose from.At 11 AM you can get yourself a buffet costing you 165,000 IDR. They also serves Sweets try Rasgulla here and give yourself a treat. I personally recommend Lucknowi Chicken Curry and Paneer Curry and Chicken Biryani here.

Very delicious Indian food in the heart of Ubud. You can see the monkey playing outside while eating. It’s a little bit more pricy nut you get what you pay.

The most authentic indian food in Bali!! I live in australia, and never have I ever tasted such good indian food there! And believe me, I have looked. This food reminds me of the food I used to eat as a kid in india. The best thing ever. If you are missing indian food while in Bali, look no further.

Delicious and authentic Indian food nearby the monkey forest. The food was so good that we went back another time before leaving Bali. The prices are a bit higher than other places in Ubud, but it was definitely worth it! Friendly staff, but that that is Bali :)

Title: Unacceptable Rat Infestation and Negligence towards Customer Safety Review: My recent experience at Ganesha Ek Sanskriti - Traditional Indian Cuisine - Ubud Bali left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the restaurant's standards of cleanliness and customer safety. Despite the initially good food, the presence of a roaming rat completely ruined the dining atmosphere. Upon witnessing the rat, I promptly informed the manager named Pushkar about the issue. Shockingly, he not only failed to take any action, but he also confirmed having caught more rats earlier in the day. To my dismay, Pushkar justified his inaction by claiming that serving food to unsuspecting guests took precedence over addressing the rat problem. Such a response is not only negligent but also shows a complete disregard for customer safety. In an attempt to gather evidence, I tried to record a video of the rat's presence. However, it became evident that the manager was aware of my actions as he deliberately obstructed my recording by placing a baby seat near the rat's hiding spot as you can see in the video as those legs are the manager’s.This behavior further highlights the management's evasion rather than a genuine concern for resolving the issue. The presence of a rat in the restaurant raises serious concerns about the poor cleanliness standards being upheld. Additionally, the fact that the kitchen door was left open indicates a lack of proper hygiene practices. It is crucial for any dining establishment to prioritize cleanliness to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for their patrons. Furthermore, the restaurant appeared to be understaffed, leading to delays in taking orders, delivering food, and promptly cleaning tables. Such shortcomings in service quality further compound the negative experience and do not reflect well on the establishment. Despite the initially good food, the unfortunate encounter with a roaming rat, along with the evident neglect by management, the poor cleanliness, and subpar service, overshadowed any positive aspects of my visit. I strongly urge to address these issues promptly, improve their cleanliness standards, and provide adequate staffing to ensure a safe and satisfactory dining experience for all customers. Does not deserve to be given a star as well. Thank you Sharan Reply to Your review. Giving reasons the restaurant is on full swing is not adviceable as no one is aware of the rat and no idea where the rats even coming from or even the hygiene of the restaurant speaks alot about the restaurant. Secondly talking about 100% unavoidable then either you are agreeing to the fact your restaurant is not hygienic or you have chosen the wrong pest company. Thirdly I am still in Bali and i am still ready to pay for the food but every customer in your restaurant should be aware of the rat situation and should know about this as your manager pushkar has told not to tell anyone about it. If you agree i will come back and pay for the bill with everyone in your restaurant knows about this. Thanks

For Indians this is the best place if you are tired of having sea food or any other type of food in Bali. We have sea food for almost 4 days then at last I wanted to have good Indian food. The place is not so expensive and food quality is even great. Must try it.

Food is good especially I loved the tandoori, staffs are courteous, interior is okay, outside seating is available. But quite a bit pricey. Washrooms are clean too. Prices could be better. A Sprite tin costed ahout 30K IDR, I think this is more pricey and the food too.

They serve really delicious dishes. Authentic Indian food in Bali. 💯 points Place is very beautiful. With bollywood music, spacious table arrangement, beautiful paintings and polite staff make it's ambience more pleasant. 💯 points Price vs Quality Price is slightly more but no compromise on food quality and service so they deserve 💯 point on this also.

Very good and fresh food, nice staff. I just didn't feel the indian vibe there. Music was very quiet from one speaker in the corner, minimum indian decorations, no paints, no tv with videoclips. A lot of tables and no people.

Amazing Indian food. Tasted like Mumbai. Loved the Dehradun chef Krishna. Cheaper than Queens Tandoor and better quality too. We ate Tomato soup , pani puri, sev puri, chhole bhature, Samosa and masala papad. Samosa is worth every penny.

It's a good place to visit if you have craving for North Indian food. I ordered bread basket , chole, kadai paneer, dal makhni and tea. Everything was good in taste but you have to tell to make it spicy. Tea was good and one tea is enough for two people .

If you’re really craving Indian food go for it. I’m sure you could find nicer. Nothing particularly wrong just not amazing. Portions of food were good, but overall nothing to write home about. Also definitely overpriced compared to all other food I’ve had since being in Bali. Food got cold quite quickly too…

This was some of the best indian food I have ever had. Personally I cant handle a lot of spice but the restaurant provided all my requests for spice level while keeping the food very tasty 😋. Wonderful place with a beautiful view and, as expected, simply mouthwateringly delicious food! If you crave indian cuisine near the Monkey Forest and want a hearty meal, this is the one for you. One of the chefs working here actually cooked for Prime Minister Narenda Modi, which is insane. Take note, monkeys roam in the same area while walking around that area, keep your belongings and hats in your bag and clutch your bag tight...

Nice Indian Restaurant. Price is bit higher compared to Kuta (Queen's Tandoor) , May be it is the price range in Ubud. Overall it is a very good restaurant, if you want Indian food. 1. Veg Platter - 5/5 2. Roti Platter - 5/5 3. Baigan Gravy - 5/5 4. Chole Bhature - 5/5 5. Dosa - 5/5 Dosa sambar is bit old, but it is expected in a foreign land as they cannot prepare fresh everyday !

Great place for authentic Indian food in Ubud. This place is located very close to the monkey forest. The quantity of food served was sufficient. The price can be considered a lil higher if taken against indian standard but definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend their dosa and jaljeera

Simple restaurant with north and south Indian options but some food tastes very bad (however when we told the chef both times we got a discount/food for free). Ate there twice, not going again. There are other Indian restaurants in the area like “Bollywood Indian Restaurant”. Ate uttapam one time, sambar very sour unfortunately.

This place is located next to Monkey forest and so one has to walk past an deserted street to reach there. The ambience was good with statues of different god and a open seating area similar to s rooftop dining experience. We started with chilli chicken, it was made good and the tasted delicious. They also provided an fried chips with garlic and tomato dip as a complimentary starter. We ordered Dhaba Murg and it was ok not too good. Ganesha Special daal was good. Butter naan were also good. Bubble service wasa bit slow. We had to wait for almost 15-20 min to get Naan, and they mixed up the number of naan we ordered. The pricing is moderate and overall the place was okish.

Delivery: I regularly order on Gofood. But the portions for the lunchboxes are getting smaller and smaller every time. It's really not worth it anymore... So sad! I loved the packages... Dine-in: Being the only guests (during covid) the restaurant was lacking atmosphere. The food was good tho. We shared different dishes. They were all good. I would not recommend the Lassi. It was made with syrup. No go! Overall too expensive. We paid 1.2mil IDR for 4 people. When it comes to Indian food in Ubud it's still probably one of the best. But there are so many different types of restaurants in Ubud if you are not really craving Indian food I would not dine here. If you crave Indian food I would order online on gofood/grab. It is cheaper and you can eat in your comfy home.

I ate dinner on a Thursday at 5. Only a couple of other diners at the time so no wait and the food came quickly. I ordered butter chicken, rice, garlic naan, and a coke. I’ve ordered this same meal in several countries and this place is definitely one of the pricier venues that I’ve tried. $20usd/280,000idr for the meal. Great service, but I had to take off a star for charging more than I would pay for the same meal at home (and usually they would include a free dessert!).

This place is a heaven for Indians. Go for it at least once to taste your authentic Indian cuisine. If you are a vegetarian pls taste the below. I tried the following. Must try : Subz briyani.( Vegetable briyani). Basmati rice with Rasam. Curd rice. Paneer masala kulcha. Paneer Tikka butter masala. To be improved : Gajar halwa.( This failed to recreate the taste). Beverages.( I tried orange juice and i don't find it to be good). Pani poori( Pani is good along with the sweet sauce. Poori could have been better.) P.S : You might find the price to be slightly high, but I would say it's worth the money.

Though there are few options available for indian food in Ubud, but definately would not recommend anybody here.

I guess Attention to ingredients is what sets Ganesha far apart from its desi brethren here in Indonesia .Ganesha ek Sanskriti the restaurant has always lived up to their name , I had tried their Sanur restaurant and both of them have excellent food quality .The menu features delicacies from across India(probably the best variation here) and the kitchen uses both traditional methods of preparation and more modern cooking styles to create an impressive array of dishes.Hidden away in Ubud, this Indian restaurant is a gem.We were 5 people all together and Every item was freshly prepared and served . From the starters Papdi chat, tikkas to the main course and even the Dal makhni infact 11/10 for the dal makhni . Will definitely recommend this one !
