Are you kidding me? I’ve been here three times and both the second and the third time they recognized me and used my name. Amazing timing with service, food is superior, service is next level…the rooms are Knock out! It was raining so we just rented an available villa. My friends and I couldn’t have been happier. I’m bringing my family here from the US. Absolutely incredible on every level.

Wonderful experience. The staff is so attentive and they really care about your wants and requests. We booked for our honeymoon and they had a bouquet of fresh roses for my wife. They also did a great job of explaining the menu and directing us through it based on our personal tastes. Everything was A+ from the bread and drinks to the main courses. We had the surf and turf, soup, and drinks to share. All the food were amazing, and they had a little extra before and ending the meal also. Everything was top notch! We also learned they have a complimentary ride to the restaurant and back to the city since they are a bit far by foot.

Agus and his team provided memorable dining experiences during our stay at the Luxe Villas Bali. The service, food, presentation, and ambience were all superior. This smoothie bowl is just one choice in the “refreshments” section of the breakfast menu. The food and beverage selections on the rest of the menu were equally appealing and delicious. The dinner menu features steak and seafood and is worth a special trip.

I had the best dining experience at the Grill, food, service, and wine was exceptional. Thank you to the beautiful staff for taking such good care of me. I enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend the lobster and prawns with truffle mashed potatoes 🙏🏼🦐

I simply loved this place! From the walk to the restaurant which wasn’t very near but enjoyable to the meal itself and the ride on the scooter back. Everything was on point, food was nicely prepared - the grilled lobster was fantastic and the sides too! Coupled with the warmth of Balinese culture and excellent service by the staff. Will visit again!

Very likely the best restaurant in Bali, hidden in picturesque rice terraces, this was easily the best dining experience we had on our trip. From the time we walked in the staff was courteous, kind, and dedicated to making this the best experience possible. We had the steak which was cooked to absolute perfection, truffle mashed potatoes, and the mac and cheese. It was a wonderful menu with a lot of options but I'm glad I chose the steak because it was easily one of the top 3 steaks I've ever had. Extremely filling as well. They also will take you via scooter from the main road up the hill since no cars are allowed past a certain point. We walked it up not knowing that and it is beautiful but was night time so we couldn't see all that much. It's a touch expensive but you'd be paying many times more for the same quality in other places in the world. Please go here, it's wonderful.

During our stay at LUXE Villas, we had several lunches and dinners on the second floor of the building at The Grill@LUXE. We were impressed that The Grill@LUXE is in the middle of the Ubud rice fields so they must bring in provisions by motorcycle, but the restaurant maintains world-class quality of food and service, including an amuse-bouche and a small take-home box of chocolates at the end of the meal. We could order local Balinese Moscato sweet wine by the glass at The Grill@LUXE anytime, but larger beach-side restaurants still sell it only by the bottle. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with only 8 tables--each with its own window--overlooking rice fields. We suspect that soon it will be necessary to book dinners well in advance. We feel that The Grill@LUXE is an unusual fine-dining option completely unlike any other that we have experienced at Ubud.

Just WOW!!!! The staff is so kind, the service was excellent and the meat, the side dishes, salads and drinks were just amazing. We ate the best meat we have ever eaten!! Such a great place.

I’m so happy that I discovered this restaurant and had to chance to enjoy the food! It’s a must try, fine dine with exceptional wine list, and amazing tastes! With a warm welcome from the moment you enter the restaurant until you leave, staff makes sure that you’re happy with simply everything! Food: They served a complimentary starter, a tartare with avacado which was so tasty. I tried the lobster tortellini which was another must try! For main course, I ordered Surf&Turf with Aspargus and truffle mashed patato; tastes were out of this world!! The level of my steak (medium rare) was cooked exactly how I wanted and the lobster were sooo tasty!! Because I was full, I could not try the dessert but staff was so kind to prepare me a small take away dessert comlimentary!! I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are a foodie and I will surely return back next year. Thank you!

What a treat! Beautiful delicious food. We did the Chefs Table taster menu of Indonesian dishes. Amazing to get to know a little bit of different parts of the country. Great service.

I can’t begin to say enough nice things about The Grill @ Luxe. From the food to the service, everything was amazing. My husband and I enjoyed a dinner there on the first day of our honeymoon in Bali and we had the best time. They surprised me with a bouquet of red roses which was a beautiful touch and the service by Ayu, along with the rest of the staff, was unmatched. We’ve gone to lots of fine dining restaurants in Toronto where we’re from but I have to say, the experience we had here was truly top notch. We would recommend anyone in Bali to go for a nice dinner as it’s worth every penny. Absolutely a great experience.

A little about us: we’ve been to multiple Michelin star rated restaurants and live in Las Vegas in the USA. This was the most unique dining experience I’ve ver had. We partook in the 7 course meal and it was amazing. The cocktail pairings were spot on, the service was on par with any Michelin restaurant. A truly incredible find hiding down a 5 minute scooter ride (provided by the restaurant) in the middle of rice fields. Bravo chef, bravo! If you’re on the fence, please treat yourself, it was incredible!

This is a must go if you’re looking for a decent steakhouse around Ubud area. The experience at the restaurant starts off with a complimentary 5-minute pick-up by scooter which brings you through a beautiful rice field, all the way into the villa area. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly by the friendly service crew. They were kind enough to check for any dietary restrictions that we might have. Food wise, we had the lobster tortellini, seafood bisque, as well as the surf & turf combo which consists of wagyu ribeye and a whole lobster. All the food were beautifully prepared and presented. Kudos to Chef Agus and the team for the amazing dinner! Only pity was that we were too full and did not have room for desserts afterwards. Will definitely try out the desserts next time when we have the chance to visit Ubud again. Overall, it’s a highly recommended steakhouse to go for a wonderful dinner. Great service and food by Chef Agus, Ngurah and the team! 👍

The best meal i had in Indonesia. I give them a six star rating if possible. We ordered the grilled king prawns & lamb cutlets. They were perfectly grilled, good quantity, and the taste was just perfect.

Coming to this restaurant is quite an exp. It is located in the rice field of Ubud, you can only get here on foot or w a scooter. So we got a free pickup service from the resto. The restaurant is small but cutely decorated and the service is very attentive. The mostly grilled food surf and turf are of high quality and high price, I mean US steakhouse price plus 20% surcharge of tax and service. The steaks could be charred a bit more to give the right color. In general if you are looking for non Asian food, this is a good choice, but the price is way too high for this venue in Ubud, count usd 100 pp.

Absolutely loved the place. Location was beautiful, food was amazing and customer service on point! They also surprised my partner with a birthday cake for her birthday which she really enjoyed! Highly recommend this place 😁

The entire experience was fantastic! We started off with the calamari and it was cooked perfectly. We then had the rib eye Wagyu and Norwegian Salmon. Perfectly done to our likeness. Each of these came with 2 sides. We had the asparagus, baby carrots, mash potato, and broccoli. All the vegetables tasted beautiful especially the mash potato. The service was also excellent. Staff were very accommodating from the beginning to the end. They reached out and gave instructions how to reach the place and not rely so much on Google Maps. There was even a complimentary motorbike pick up ride to and from the corner drop off. I was offered a mosquito repellant when they noticed me swatting mosquitos. 😃 The place is situated in the middle of the rice fields which gives it a unique ambience.

Most romantic place to take your woman or person. The food is 5-star and super beautifully presented with top notch caring staff. International cuisine with a local chef and flair will keep everyone happy. The rice field views and quiet make it great even just for coffee and cake. We love the lobster and chicken. The mushroom cappuccino soup is wayyy delicious!

This place was hands down an amazing steak and seafood restaurant. Very very very high quality cooked to perfection medium/medium rare marbled steaks and fresh lobster, shrimp, etc. My man and I each ordered the surf and turf (steak & lobster) with Mac n cheese, truffle mashed potatoes, fries, and veggies. This was beyond our expectations. The breeze of the open air windows they had open at the restaurant was just right. Service was immaculate. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend. They were so knowledgeable of the menu and gave us suggestions as well as what to do all around Bali. We walked 15 minutes from where we were because the car couldn’t go through where it was located but if you had a scooter you’re perfectly fine. They also have scooter person to take us back as well which was so nice and amazing. It was a good lunch for my birthday and they went overboard in making sure our food was as we expected and service was like I said more than exceptional.

Dinner and service were definitely enjoyable but what makes it different was the place itself … We had to park the car at main road and continue with 30 minutes leisure walk across padi field to reach this beautiful place. The restaurant was part of the secluded, boutique @luxevillasbali located at Ubud Green Zone district. Very memorable indeed ❤️

We loved our experiences at The Grill. We were fortunate enough to get to stay at the Luxe Villas so everyday we had a great breakfast there plus twice we had them deliver dinner to our room. The food was delicious & the setting beautiful. The highlight though was the Chef’s Table which we did on our very first night. Chef Agus and his team provided us with an exceptional 7 course Indonesian meal with cocktail pairings. It was so fun to try food specialties from different regions of Indonesia. At the end they asked our favorites and we literally could not decide because it was all so delicious! Thank you Chef Agus and the 3 staff members who took such great care of us during our Chef’s Table. We wish we could remember their names.

We were trekking as a group and got lost in the rice field. This place was like a postcard feom the picture. We had the pleasure to meet the very handsome owner of the hotel. Great hosts, great place and view

Had our excellent wedding anniversary dinner here. Food and service were excellet. Their steak is a must try! A bit romantic since there were only us kind of exclusive 🙂 Also thank you for the flowers and digestive guys such a nice gestures. Thank you to the whole team and see you next time!

This time is my second time in luxe. In 3 years ago, I had amazing good memory. Here is perfect. Food, mood and especially staffs favor are perfect. Staffs are very kind and friendly. This time, I also have good memory. And luxe have amazing taste mushroom cappuccino, steak, salad etc. If you go to bali, you have to go to luxe grill. I have 1 more chance to go to bali, I will visit here.

This place is not only a hidden gem, but also an amazing dinning experience. We were so well taken care of by the staff, who addressed us by our names and even prepared a little birthday surprise for my husband. The food was simply superb, everything was absolutely delicious and the ingredients they used high quality. I will definitely come back whenever I have the chance, as we really loved this place.

Easily the best restaurant I have ever eaten at, the food, service, and atmosphere were simply awesome. I've eaten in some high end restaurants from New York and the Florida Keys and this tops them ALL by far, I've just never experienced dishes so savory where every flavor was considered, and they even cooked us a double portion of chicken because we were sharing on a budget. Could not recommend more!

I've travelled all over the world and eaten at very nice places, and this gem in the middle of the beautiful rice fields, I had the best steak ( and entire meal ) I've ever had in my life. The truffle mashed potatoes to pair with it... to die for. The complimentary scooter ride along the narrow trail was so beautiful and such a fun experience to begin and end the night. The owner came to the table at the end and I had a lovely chat with him where he gave me some great recommendations for other local restaurants during my stay and the potential to move here etc. will be back thank you!

The lobster was one of the best l ever had! The service is top of the top. If you are looking for a good restaurant with great atmosphere and service l highly recommend this place. Not cheap but worth every penny;)

Amazingly accommodation and restaurant. The staff are brilliant. All so friendly and attentive. This is in a unique location, beside the padi fields, 1 km off the Main Street in Ubud. You can be collected from here by the security staff and transported up the lane by scooter. This is magical.

I cannot compliment this restaurant highly enough, everything from the moment we booked. (Recieving a WhatsApp message with instructions on how to arrive and offer of a pick up for the narrow track up to the restaurant itself) Staff being incredibly inviting, informative and attentive upon our arrival. From security parking our bike for us, chefs greeting us and front of house staff just being perfect. My partners main meal unfortunately arrived undercooked, upon mentioning this the staff it was immediately rectified, offered a replacement dish or a new choice which came out as quick as possible. Mistakes can happen in a restaurant but the way it was handled hardly even made it an inconvenience in my eyes. Simply one of the best fine dining experiences I have experienced and the quality of the food, in my opinion, is unbeatable in Ubud if not the whole of Bali. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Ubud!

Probably the best meat in Bali, but tonight's favourite was the lobster ravioli. Walked to the restaurant from the main road - which was a easy and pleasant 10 minute walk.

We were staying at the Luxe Villas and had several times our meals there. From breakfast to afternoon tea to dinner, all food that we had was immaculately prepared, cooked, and very nice presented. Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Price value perhaps a bit on the pricey side, if you drink wine with it, but you get good quality products which reflects on the fantastic food that you get served at Luxe BBQ & Grill Restaurant is quite small but very cozy with some niches for couples to “hide”

Amazing fine dinning experience at The Grill at LUXE. They pick you up from the centre of Ubud on the motorbikes and bring you to the middle of the rice fields where you have the best steak of your life! I have the 48hr cooked beef and wow I can recommend this place enough. The service and the food was excellent!

Our experience at the grill luxe was a solid 10/10! We made an impromptu reservation with them on a new year eve and we had the most premium and satisfying dinner there. The restaurant location can be a little out of the place but the restaurant staff arranged motorbike transport to fetch us in. Food and services were premium. Everything exceed our expectation. Highly recommended👍🏻
