👍👍 It was late, and I was terribly hungry. All restaurants had their kitchen closed, and Nick's was still open. Everyone welcomed me and was politely served as if I were the first customer of the day. They prepared tasty mouth-watering food just for me irrelevant of the time! And what about the prices... People often mention staff, good, ordered, hour,

I read reviews here and actually was thinking to avoid dinner in this cafe, but as I had a good breakfast here, I decided to risk and ordered pizza at evening. And it was really good. Coffe and 22 sm pizza was only 80 thousands rupees . So I would say it was good for me.

To begin: the blue cocktail is the worst I éver had. It was so bad that I could not finish it. Second: it took them over an hour to make something simple that we cancelled the order and only paid for the drinks. I already asked the staff how long it will take. They didn't even bother to answer this simple question. Please walk a few meters further into this street and please pick another restaurant. There are plenty!

The one thing that made our hour long wait for our food much better was the awesome soundtrack that was playing! Bon Jovi, Green Day and Westlife!!! What's not to love! The fact that none of the staff could be bothered with anything was just rude. I received a 'pineapple juice' that was 1/4 watered down fresh pineapple 3/4 foam from the blender. I complained, requested a different, cheaper drink, still charged me for the juice. Ordered a ceaser salad, which after waiting an hour ended up being a plate of lettuce leaves with mayo, some chicken chucked on and the tiniest slice of garlic bread ever. We also ordered an appetiser which came 20 minutes after finishing my salad. 1 hour and 20 minutes after ordering. When asking for the bill none of the 5 staff who were all cleaning glasses ( surely there aren't that many to polish) wouldn't look up from the task at hand so had to walk over to a very bored looking manager? And wait for her to add up our bill on a calculator then just say 'okay'. We paid and left. Honestly only gave a 1 star cause i had to, in the end it was just a joke, ended up singing along to music and thoroughly enjoyed myself!

I've read some reviews and maybe the bad ones are from people getting takeaway. But for us, out of a number of restaurants that we have eaten at, this is by far one of the best. Their tempura vegetables were perfectly cooked and also delicious. They also accommodated us on a couple of requests with our food and changed some of the sauces for us to more our liking. They also have Balinese Dancers that perform on a Monday, Wednesday, and a Friday at no charge to the customer. Lastly, the staff are amazing and very helpful. Many of them have exceptional English, and they were able to give us some good tips and locations to visit on our roaming trip around Bali.

We had the perfect lunch in a beautiful setting with friendly staff. Traditionally Bali food, but also of plenty other options in western and Mexican food.

This place has the potential of having a 5 star rating but the serve is really slow. The dancers were amazing. Food is good but service needs to improve. They need to figure out a more efficient way to make the food during rush hour. Also having all the food in the party come out at the same time instead of half your table waiting for their food while the other’s food gets cold.

I have nothing but appreciation for this restaurant. From the moment we walked in we felt happy and excited for the evening and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. There were no wait times. The entertainment was mesemerising. Atmosphere was relaxing. One of the more memorable dinners while holidaying in Ubud.

5 star for staff because they are soooo lovely! Meisa and Putu gave a nice warm welcome when I was coming for breakfast. Meisa saw that the sun was getting too strong for me and she helped me change my seat without me even saying anything, she was so attentive! The coconut pancake was lovely and the restaurant setting is cozy. I just really hope they would have more vegan options in the menu and plant-based milk for coffee!

Very nice food! Mixed menu local Indonesian and European food. Had lunch and dinner on a number of occasions can’t complain about anything.

I ordered beef nachos, ok, my bad in Bali but what could possibly go wrong 😑 The menu stated home made tortillas, they were from a packet, just like Doritos. Neither of my friends liked their food either. The staff are lovely and helpful though, which is standard in Bali, it’s not their fault.

Extremely disappointed we went primarily to see the Balinese dancers.we ordered 2 main dishes pork spare ribs and spaghetti. The ribs were fine the pasta dish was not only very small in size but tastless and dry. We ordered 2 banana splits which were all dried out and a miserable amount of icecream to go with it. On a positive note the dancers were great the beer was cold and the premises clean and attractive. Better places in Ubud to visit.

The food is not good but. Talk about a rip off. We ordered a bowl of white rice to go with our spring rolls, they stung us for 30k. Let's put that in perspective. It's like being charged $45 for a meat pie in aus. Or $18 for a plain hot dog in the US, or almost 50 quid for bacon eggs and beans from one of those awesome greasy breakfast places in the UK. I even pulled them up about it, but they just laughed . Ha ha yes we know we are ripping you off. But sucked in. Well hopefully people read this and give you a very wide berth. If people want some good food, go to Warung Biah Biah much cheaper and much better

I visited Nick's restaurant in Ubud, Bali, and had a mixed experience. The rendang was decent but on the pricey side. The Mie was good, but the chicken could have been more tender(and I missed some sambal). My son's chicken nuggets seemed factory-made and were overly dry; we discussed this with the staff. The strawberry milkshakes for my kids weren't enjoyable, tasting like sour yogurt. They didn't finish them, and normally, they enjoy sweet drinks. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and accommodating. They replaced my son's fries with rice and threw in some sliced tomatoes without charging us. In summary, the Asian cuisine was satisfactory, but considering Indonesian and even Balinese standards, the prices seemed high relative to the overall quality.

We were not hotel guests but we went for breakfast. They gave us a menu, we chose what we wanted and when we asked the waiter he told us that this was only for customers and he gave us a much worse menu. I asked for some toast with ham and they told me they could make it for me but then they brought me some strawberry ones, they made a mistake and they didn't change my food so I left without breakfast. to top it off, when we were going to pay they told us that if we wanted to pay by card we had to pay more. I do not recommend the site or the service. We will never go back.

We ordered chicken screwer (sate ayam) and the meal was not well done. We got compensation after we asked. Ordinary taste and slow stuff.

My wife and I waited for around an hour and a half for the food to be delivered; with a 55 minute wait for a "ceaser" salad. The restaurant wasn't even half full, with only 5 tables occupied throughout the time we were there. When the food finally arrived it was of a good quality and the portions and presentation was nice. My wife ordered a pineapple fruit juice and it came with 80% of it being foam, she took a few sips and it was gone, she complained and was given another drink, which I later found on the bill, despite it being "complimentary" for messing up the fruit juice. For the sake of 16.000 I couldn't be bothered arguing but the lack of consistency and enthusiasm by the staff just irked me to the point that I wouldn't eat here again.

Could be much better....Service was all new but they tried their best and we could not complain much. Only had one tomato soup that came from a can we suppose. But the worst was the cocktails...they were disgusting...we had to leave them. They need to learn how to properly prepare food and drinks then it is okay. Dancers were there...but music was way to loud
