Absolutely incredible Indonesian food, served in a small restaurant with friendly staff! Was in Ubud for a couple of days and tried many restaurants… this was by far the best local food I tasted.

My experience was not good. asked for vegetarian nasi goreng and they made it but it tasted very bland, the worst nasi goreng I have had. I also ordered corn fritters and they tasted of fish, most likely they used the same oil that they use for cooking fish. I won’t be coming here again.

Not only was the food reasonably priced, but the portions were perfect. Ordering two different meals, it was the perfect quantity for two people to share. Not only that, but the quality was great. The ribs were my favorite of both dishes. Service also gets an A+, the hostest was extremely kind and authentic. Bottom line, if you're considering eating here, do it.

Came there 3 years ago and they didn't have much options/ were not super flexible to make dishes vegan. Now they have plenty delicious options & super cheap. Would highly recommend, quite an atypical place off the main street. Definitely recommend to try the Kate tofu tempeh if you like curries with a little bit of a kick (great side, comes without rice!) we had the Gado Gado which was nice too (on the small side) and nasi goreng with tofu (was good too!) Really appreciate the flexibility and so far one of the best warungs & cheapest we've tried in Ubud 😜. Staff was really friendly and accepted for us to do bank transfer after we realised they don't accept card and hadn't taken cash. They also speak & understand English really well!

A generous mix of items, including a fried shrimp, a fish, chicken leg, tofu and more. It all tasted great, but many items were slightly cold. I loved the way they cooked the tempeh - it had a smokey and chewy flavor that was really nice. We are really happy that we found this little gem.
