Actually better than expected. So the interior and the atmosphere isn't much but the food is good and very reasonably priced. Good vegetarian options. The buffet is probably only during lunch.

Amazing halal place in ubud. We went twice during out stay as the price and quality of food was amazing. We tried a variety of dishes and all were delicious except for maybe the chicken in black bean which was a bit basic. I specially loved the chicken sambal which had a nice kick. The staff helped cut our coconut for takeaway later to eat the flesh.

Quite simply the best place to eat in Bali. Authentic, genuinely halal, cheap and tasty! We ate at all the popular joints in Ubud but this was our favourite. The staff are wonderful, it's has halal certification from the ulema of Indo and it has an area for Salah. It's incredibly cheap too.we ended up eating here everyday, sometimes 2/3 times a day! And it never got boring. Highly recommended!

Had yummy fried banana fritters topped with cheese while waiting for our dinner takeaway. Both the fried kuayteow and fried fish, veg + rice combo turned out to be pretty delicious. Overall tasty and halal food.

Food tastes great, although we thought the spiciness level could be higher. It was quite mild. The service is great and prices are amazing. They should do a better job keeping it clean though. It's nice that it's a Halal establishment as well, and they are not shy to let you know with signage everywhere. We tried a number of items on the menu and they were all great. Chicken satay. Nasi Goreng. Sweet and sour squid. And more.

Must say one of the best priced and value priced restaurants I’ve been to. Had the sweet n sour chicken for 35k and came back twice to eat. Well cooked and flavoursome.

Really nice local food experience! Smiling and nice staffs! Dining at Warung Ijo Ubud during my January visit was a culinary journey into the heart of Indonesian home cooking. The charming atmosphere, reminiscent of an authentic Indonesian home, immediately set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The menu, a showcase of traditional flavors, featured a variety of dishes that surpassed expectations. From the aromatic rendang to the flavorsome nasi goreng, each bite was a celebration of genuine Indonesian cuisine. The staff's warmth and attentiveness added a personal touch, making the dining experience memorable. Warung Ijo Ubud is a must-visit for those seeking an authentic taste of Indonesia in the heart of Ubud. Each dinner was a flavorful adventure, and I left with a deep appreciation for the richness of Indonesian home-cooked delights. Highly recommended for a genuine culinary exploration.

Almost missed the place since it was located in a narrow alley. It was such a relief to find a nice halal restaurant among abundant bars in Ubud. The place offered various cheap local food. We tried ayam betutu and it was delicious! There was a mushola for you to pray while waiting for your order.

Best best food in Bali! The flavours were amazing! The most authentic Balinese food in Ubud hands down. The customer service was top notch, the front house man was always very accommodating. My fav dish was the grilled mackerel and salt and pepper beef😍👍🏼 very cheap (~50k IDR/person), yet very very tasty food! thank you so much!!

This reminds me of home cooking ✨ I had Ayam bakar and es teh for IDR 42,000. Muslims who would want to eat halal local Indonesian dishes in the center of Ubud, you should come by here. No doubt. A little place but definitely worth it. They even provide musholla. Love it!

I want to return to Bali just for this restaurant! It’s a family run business serving authentic home cooked halal food. The customer service was second to none and the variety and open buffet was incredible in terms of flavour explosion. Can’t wait to come back.

Lovely service by smiling people who made us feel welcome. The food is a really good price (mains no more than 40k) and to go with this it’s delicious. I highly recommend the black pepper chicken and the sweet and sour crispy chicken - they were both so tasty. I eat a lot of food so I had two mains, but for the low prices I didn’t mind at all. Ice tea was delicious too. Highly recommend!

A hidden local "warung" in the center of Ubud with reasonable prices but so tasty, enough space inside even looks so narrow from the outside.

As a muslim, a bit hard to search for halal food in Ubud. This one is to the rescue. Almost everyday we come here. Twice dine-in and once for take away. The variety of the food and the price are great. We got Ikan Bakar Bumbu Bali and Ayam Goreng. The next day, we try Ikan and Kwetiaw Rebus and the last one we order Nasi and Mie Goreng. ❤️❤️ . The place not big at front and we need to get in and there is more tables

Food is great for a very reasonable price. Tried their ayam goreng (fried chicken) and ayam bakar (grilled chicken). Both tasted fantastic. Recommend their mango juice as well, they are made with fresh mangoes. Sambal is spicy though so ppl weak to spice do take note! Unfortunately their restaurant exterior isn't as eye catching as other restaurants in the area which may contribute to their slow customer flow. Service was also great here!

Best warung in Ubud. The grilled fish is 0excellent and I really recommend! Tasty nasi goreng ayam rice and noodles. Really enjoyed this place. Additionally its halal.

Very simple home-cooked food. Outstanding quality and taste, with smiley delivery. It is a very basic restaurant, with plenty of space, quiet (no music), and cool enough. Portion sizes are good and it is cheap. I don't know why it's not busier, other than, if you don't know it is here, you would walk straight past. But, do yourself a favour, and check it out.

Ayam bakar and mujair bakar very very very tasty!!! I repeat dine in there 2 days straight while im in Ubud! Very recommended. Warung is clean and food tasty especially their grill (bakar).

Really decent prices. Simple local ingredients but SO DELICIOUS!!! We had the mujair fish which was a perfect blend of spicy, sweet and smoky! It’s tilapia or freshwater fish grilled in a banana leaf. The Ayam (chicken) bertutu was also very good. After lunch, head to Seniman Coffee Studio that’s up the lane right opposite this warung for an afternoon coffee.

Great halal food place to experience Balinese flavour. All meals were tasty. On the first visit they had run out of chicken so check before sitting down. Wasn't an issue since seafood was also good.

A traditional Indonesian restaurant certified halal. You can sit on cushioned mats on low table for an authentic experience. We tried 2 grilled fish dishes, chicken satay and fresh pure guava and 1 mango juice. Starting with the satay, 4/5 seasoned with peanut sauce it had a lovely chargrilled smell. Fish dish was on point. Preferably would’ve like it a little more spicy but the sambal made up for it. But the juices, fresh pure mango and guava used, no syrup pure juice. Even if you pass by grab a small card fruit juice on a hot day in ubud. Price and portion value for money 5*

Surprisingly great food with a good value. Halal food here, unfortunately I arrive a bit later so didn't get ayam betutu.

Stumbled across this halal restaurant in Ubud. So good I went back again the next day. Cheap in price but rich in taste. The sambal sauce is a taste I'll try to recreate at home. Sad I am a tourist and unable to visit more regularly.

The best 'Ayam Bakar' I have ever tasted ! We spend one week in Bali this time and we stop by eating here for more than 3 times in just a week. Staff was super friendly and kind to assist, the menu great ! Even had their Pisang Goreng and it taste good ! Not to mention, it is a Halal Muslim restaurant. Very recommended 👍🏼

enak!!! A very rare certified halal restaurant in Ubud, especially near the Monkey Forest area. Definitely recommended for everyone, especially the Muslims. A bit hard to notice from outside, but their foods are more than make it up for you. Very delicious!!! I will go here more often whenever I revisit Ubud in the future 😍😋🥳🤤
