I’ve been on a quest to find the best cappuccino in Ubud and I have finally found it!!!! After trying many many places, this was my absolute favorite! Their presentation is also 10/10 I love little touches like that! Also had a few of their desserts and loved them all! My favorites were the lemon pie and their cheesecake (it tastes like NY cheesecake) I like siting outside and being greeted by cute local dogs!!

I come to Seniman Coffee when their place is very small. At that time I come at 5.30pm and they closed at 6pm. They still use the same unique chair 😁 Now Seniman Coffee is growing very fast. Even they expanded the space 5times (include the roasting place and the shopa) compare to original place 👍 I am impressed with their dedication and commitment to introduce Bali Coffee. Their barista also very good... They have good knowledge on different method to serve the coffee and able to suggest based on the coffee beans that we select. Even pandemic, seems this place still continue to grow - thumb up 👍 Very lively coffee shops compare yo similar place in Ubud If you are coffee lovers, and stayed in Ubud, this place is MUST TO VISIT ❤️☕️ Tips : Bali Karana Kintamanis Natural V60 40K Wedang Jawi use Syphon 35K (fruity flavor) This place always crowded, so you need to choose uncommon hours or make a reservation. I prefer to sit in front of barista. We can see on how our coffee is prepared. Very satisfying ❤️❤️❤️

Best Hidden Artisan Cafe in Ubud! Definitely worth checking out their beautiful interior and innovative Bar Roker. They offer a coffee studio class across the street for those looking to learn how to craft coffee(s). Car Parking is not available in front of the cafe so it’s better to park outside the alley.

Fantastic coffee place with some of the best coffee we had in Bali. There is every variation you can want and even some new ones. They also have single-origin pour overs. Food is also good, which is delivered from a bakery next door. Friendly and helpful staff.

The place is suprisingly quite big. It has indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed its coffee and also its pastry. The staff is so friendly. The toilet is clean.

Unforgettable experience. I fell in love with their Lemon Tart. The taste is very refreshing and the tart crust's very suitable. I would recommend their egg tart too. The cold brew's iconic. But, cinnamon coffee is my favourite and their matcha has very strong taste. Ambience, no doubt about it. I was super chill and enjoy even though the place was very crowded

Great coffee selection, very relaxed atmosphere, very clean and comfortable. Everything we tasted in the menu was absolutely scrumptious. We kept coming night after night, because the vibe, the drinks (any drink) and the food were out of this world. If you need to take a rest from the busy streets of Ubud, this place is the best choice!

Great coffee. Overall nice experience. The ice black cold brew is my favourite out of 4 coffees we tried - nice dark chocolate notes.

Highly recommended. We came here four times during our two-week stay in Ubud. Great food with reasonable prices. There are Asian choices, the FISH CONGEE with coriander chopped in, seriously, so good. One of the best congee I ever had. The chicken congee is good but if choose one, definitely go with the fish one. The coffee is also quite good here. Nice atmosphere.

A nice coffee shop in Ubud to hang out or do the work. They have extra space to work under the main area. Staffs are very friendly. Parking spot is very limited, though. Wifi is so-so. Coffee and food are decent with affordable price. For the menu I recommend their sandwiches and iced milk coffee.

I heard some hype about this place, and it was justified. First off, their coffee and tea are excellent, lots of choices, there's not much else that need to be said. Just give it a try. Be careful with sugar, as indonesians tend to like their drinks on the sweeter side. You might want to consider asking your sugar on the side and mix it yourself as needed. You can also buy different types of coffee beans, packaged ground coffee, and tea for souvenirs, which of course i did! Next: pastry, those were proper pastries, delicious. Indonesian taste with pastry has gone a long way in the past decade. Their Creme Brulee danish and chocolate croissant could compete with any similar pastry from any western country. Then the food. They have a mix of different food from both eastern and western cuisines, mostly the crowd pleasers and comfort foods. And they tasted just as good as any. My kids are picky eaters but they gobbled it up. Also case in point: the "poached egg" that was served with the avocado toast, a seemingly very simple dish item, but actually difficult to do perfectly and due to its simplicity, there's nowhere to hide if you mess it up, and yet they did a perfect poached egg that will stand its ground in any high end French Restaurant. So i rest my case. They have indoor air-conditioned seats, bar-style seats, indoor seats with ceiling fan, and outdoor seats. They also have free valet parking, as traffic can be very heavy.

Enjoyed the coffee there very much during our stay in Ubud. The food is decent and the service is impeccable. The rocking plastic chair was certainly a delight too! Dropped by to purchase the upcycle latte glass because they are done so perfectly as well.

My 'must go' cafe in Bali. Ranges of local produce coffee beans. It's a fun experience to choose your perfect cups of coffee. And if you're a home brewer, you can also get their coffee beans to make your coffee at home too. Highly recommended!!

A cool bakery/coffee place with some lunch options. Their pastries are really good and the variety of drink options is impressively vast. However, their staff is rather slow and it’s hard to attract their attention at times. Also, would be great if they look into highering the bar on the sanitary standards in the restrooms...

It was a well known local coffee shop in Ubud. They sold experience and some creative souvenir for tourist here. They also conducted coffee class if I am not mistaken. To reach this place, you better use motorbike or park your car on the main street and walk here. As for coffee, cappuccino was Ok while manual brew was not. It was just a matter of preference.

Seniman is as good as the reviews, I think it's one of the most unique and best coffee places in Ubud. They offer various coffee beans and choices written in this aesthetic and distinguishable menus, I tried the Affogato with 5 elements (vanilla ice cream, coffee ice cream, espresso soft serve, cold brew, and an espresso shot) and I am amazed by the serving presentations, served on a local crafting. I also tried the Japanese V60 (so strong and bold wow), and takeaway the Black and White Cold Brew (so strong, fresh, unique aftertaste, and unique packaging), just wow. The pastries were also good. Oh and the best part is the price is relatively cheap compared to the service and experience we had. The baristas are super friendly, they explain your food/beverages one by one and how to fully enjoy it to the max, they know and guide you to pick the most suitable coffee for your taste. They also had these artistic and comfy rocking chairs and a coffee bean souvenir shop just across the cafe.

A must for the slightly older kids aged 7-8 plus. Very well set up climbing and zip lining tree top walks from a few meters to 20 metres high across different skill levels. Prepare for a 4 hour session and a 2 hour drive to get there. We did the hot springs on the way home to relax with our local driver charging $70 for the day trip there and back. We loved it and will go back for the harder and higher black course we didn’t have the strength to do this time. Thumbs up from us.

One of the best adventure parks I have been to. Once you pay, you have 2 hours to do the different circuits. Each circuit is for a different age group at a different height with varying obstacles. The circuits consist of breathtaking and long zip lines and the iconic Tarzan jump at the end. First, the staff will show you a demo on how to use gear. The staff are very helpful and ever ready to help. If you get stuck in the middle of the course, they will help you back down. Once you are done, you enjoy the food in the restaurant located in the course. The food is cheap but tasty. Some advice- You can buy a glove there which will provide better grip. Make sure to dress comfortably, preferably shorts. Definitely worth a visit as you will go back with a memorable experience.

Excellent place for an adventure. Let it be small kids or adults - there are games from easy to hard - challenging your confidence. Black circuit is the best (and I would suggest trying it first so that you have the stamina for it) A must visit - good training in the start - easy to follow rules and excellent safety. If you are not able to continue at any location, you will be brought down by the staff present.

Nice place for cozy hangout with friends. Coffee is nice and properly served and the waitress knows their product and willing to help you to choose one. I tried the seeded bagel w/ cream cheese and it was heaven. The place is not too big but nice. They also have a course for coffee barista but for now it's closed. They also sell coffee beans and grounded. Free parking is a plus.

(Translated by Google) Great coffee in Ubud! The coffee smells good and kicks. For manual brew, you can ask the barista that suits your taste. We try Papua Wamena because we like coffee with a strong body. Cappuccino and Kopi Susu are equally delicious. Milk coffee is not too sweet, just right for us. Their croissants are also very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Recommended! (Original) Great coffee in Ubud! Aroma kopinya wangi dan nendang. Best place to have coffee, with their expertise we call them coffee laboratory :). Not to forget their great generous menu, food and beverages. They have special place for mornings/evenings “Seniman Spirits” where you can sip drinks and special cocktails, and not to forget their store facing their coffee house where you can buy all their cups, utensils, coffee beans… all you need. Well after all if you are near this place I would like to ask you to check it for at least 5 times lol, enjoy their expertise and good service

Seniman is easily my favorite coffee experience in Ubud area. Try seating on the bar and ask the baristas for some manual brew. I normally go for the V60 method and the Kintamani coffee beans. For a new experience, you might want to go for their nitro cold brew. For savoury food, the bakmie ayam is comforting. And for sweet snack, they have this tofu blossom/kembang tahu with tapioca pearl.

Nice location. We had a nice breakfast. The specialty coffee is really good. I had a granola yogurt and the yogurt was sour. I thought it was expired, but the waiter told me is a different kind of yogurt, that’s why it has that texture and taste. The cheesecake and the cinnamon bun was tasty. I didn’t really like the shakshuka unfortunately. I would recommend it for the coffee and location.

Highly recommend, everything was excellent! The food, coffee, services. The waiters are very friendly and chatted with us for a bit, I bought some coffee beans and they grinded it for us. The Shaksuka was excellent!!! I still crave it until now, I don't know what sausage they use but it was better than any I have tried. If you're in Ubud and want to have a relaxing and fulfilling breakfast, you need to stop by.

nice stylish cafe with different kinds of coffee👍🏼There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas.Besides coffee, food and pastries are also delicious. can be preferred to work with a computer. Internet speed was good👍🏼You can easily find plugs near the tables, especially around the big table in the middle. Staff are attending, kind and service is good but little bit slow. Prices are little bit expensive but its fine for fast internet and good coffee.➕Taxes are added later, so when the bill comes, you probably notice a different amount than the one you calculated

Nice spot to sit down and relax. Came here multiple times. Coffee was really good here and the food was good too! I also did the manual brewing class and that was great.. Staff was super friendly, and I was even given a couple coffee samples while waiting for my food which was a delight!

Fantastic place! The coffee and food are absolutely excellent! We became regulars over our stay in Ubud. Whatever we picked from the menu was absolutely incredible. They take coffee seriously. And it shows. They helped me appreciate Japanese iced coffee which in any other place always felt bit weak to me. Seniman made me a fan. Great coffee, great food and great vibe! If you are in Ubud, Bali do yourself a favour and visit the place. We are definitely coming back.

Great coffee at nicely designed place. The name is a perfect representation of the shop. The mugs, chairs, decorations are all unique and quirky. The drinks are also unique, yes the standard fare coffee is good but their mixers are the highlight.

Very nice and hearty coffee. The avocado bread and muesli, were extremely tasty. The croissant was unfortunately from the last day. I like it when you do not waste food. But to charge the same price for a croissant from the day before as in Switzerland, I do not find good. However, I am very happy to recommend this place. We liked it very much.

My favorite coffeeshop in Ubud, with the best specialty coffee ☕️✨ I recommend trying their classics as well as their unique concoctions (I love “One Love Is Enough”). Coffee, food, and service are high quality and consistent. Seniman is a beautiful place for a drink with friends, or to daydream, journal, or work. They have their own bakery with homemade bread and baked goods. They also have a shop across the street where you can buy coffee to bring home and other local goodies. I highly recommend their coffee workshops for the coffee lovers out there. Special thanks to Ayu who always takes such good care of regulars like me 🥰

Chatgpt actually recommended this place for me lol and it’s the best! During our Bali trip, we visited this coffee shop 3 times! We even bought their coffee beans & pouring bag as a gift for our friends & family. I was surprised to know that Bali has such good coffee beans & this coffee shop introduce them well! Their blend is really good. We love the original flavour using at the coffee shop! Some might find that it’s a bit more expensive than other specialty shops but give it a try because it’ll never disappoints you. Besides, they have a good food menu too for breakfast & brunch throughout the day. We tried several panini & pastries, and it’s good. It’s not something too fabulous but it’s standard & reasonable. And that’s good for me. They also have a bar but we havent tried it yet so maybe next time. Will comeback to this place if I visited Ubud again!

Seniman never fails. I've been here twice, yet the coffee and the service are always consistently unbelievable. The servings of the coffee is quite unique as, I think, it uses locally crafted tray. Seniman also offers various coffee beans for home drinkers. I bought some and they even asked me if I wanted to grind the beans I bought. What an experience!

Don’t get me wrong coffee is good. Was not impressed with their roasting course. The course went through very basic fundamentals and roasting beans in a glass jar over a burner stove. Received a booklet that could easily be obtained off the net. Took the course with my partner. We did not find the value for the price we paid.

Unbelievably good coffee in the heart of Bali. This is a roaster at the top of its game, passionately pouring multiple single origins in filter, syphon, cold brew, and espresso. It's an absolute treat to watch the baristas work, and the tasting coffee flights are not only delicious but affordable. I'd put this right up against Melbourne's best roasters. World class.

  • 2/5 Sebastian S. 4 years ago on Google
Unfortunately it has lost its quality. Once an institution it is now a rather expensive coffee place. While the coffee is excellent, food quality and service has dropped. It seems it comes down to management, as individual staff try their best. Often ingredients are not available and while it is totally understandable that this depends on seasons I feel like it is the teams responsibility to update each other on what’s actually available and not let the guest wait 10 minutes after the order is placed to then tell that something isn’t available. Kitchen, waiters and restaurant management seem not to coordinate properly. And for the prices you can get same or even better food and service in other places close by. Come here for the coffee only in my opinion.

Super cool place and concept! Really nice coffee and many variations to try. Served with water and a rich shortbread cookie on a cool tray. I'm here to accompany my GF, as she's the coffee addict. From what I heard, Seniman roast their own coffee (the brewery is literally across the cafe). They offer a cozy place to chill, take your daily caffeine, or work remotely. Even though it's not located on the main street, vehicles are pretty frequent so expect some noise. But it doesn't reduce the peaceful mood around Seniman. Definitely worthy place to hangout and chill.

Both tastes great. I love that they give a cookie and also water together with the coffee. There is an air-conditioned area which I used often for studying and serving the web. Came here again at night for cashew milk which tastes great. Sometimes they give out taster samples, I had an Ethiopian Coffee Bean one which tastes fantastic. This is the second times i go to Seniman Coffee, ya i back to ur place bcs in first i have very very good impression about place, coffee, and other. But, today... Idk how to say :( the bread of food even very difficult to bite. I'm not sure about the espresso, bold and very bitter aftertaste. When temperature drop, the taste feel better... they have acidity and sweet even the strong aftertaste still not gone. Or, That's ur characteristics? Idk. If Covid-19 make u guys quality decrease, i'll try to understand. Hope everything better. And btw, in first i want to order butter croissant.. but staff said all pastry sold out. After that, ur staff serving croissant to other customers. It's weird. Then I trying to ask server again to make sure for pastry and she said sold out. After 1-2 hours, there's somebody (at our next table) order cinnamon rolls and u guys have cinnamon rolls while i have asked bfr :) i don't understand about that... And nobody explain to me... In the end, thx for give me cold brew taster! That's make me better after all. Thank you.

Our 10 year old had a blast and I enjoyed it as well. You work through the beautiful wooded courses (some very easy all the way up to quite difficult) on your own with a 2 carabiner system. They gave us adequate training at the start. I would suggest arriving as early as possible because it got busy as the day went on. It also did not rain on us which is not a guarantee.

It has to be one of the most scintillating experiences of my lifetime. The Bali TreeTop Adventure Park is an obstacle course atop tall trees inside a Botanical Garden. There are several courses that have to be covered in a designated time, each tougher than the other. You have to complete smaller courses so that you get a hint of what's next to come. Once you complete a relatively easier course, then you can move on to the next. The courses are complete with spider nets, ziplines, hollow logs, pulleys, rope walks, zig zag rope walks and what not. It's like you are undergoing a military training of sorts. You need stamina and grit to complete the course one by one as this is not easy. You will be given training at the beginning and once done, you are on your own. There is no turning back and you have to keep moving forward so that there is no backlog of people atop the trees. It is insane fun here and you can spend anywhere between 2-3 hours here. Better buy a pair of gloves before starting the course because you don't want to end up with blisters in your hands after the course. Definitely must try if you have got it in you.

Lots of fun for the grown ups and confident kids from the age of 7+ Kids as young as 4 can do some of the climbs and they have great fun doing so but the fact that you pay the same price for a 4 year old who can only do 2 or 3 of the climbs seems a little steep and unfair. They have to stand by and watch while older siblings and parents climb the other “courses” as there is not much else for them to do. It seems unfair as there is only one zip line for them to go on and that’s the best part of the climbs! it is height based however so if you have a tall 5/6 year old thy should be fine (our 4 year old is very tall for his age and is in size 6 clothing but was still too short) Out 8 year old reached just fine. Another down side is the lack of food options, as there is none. So be sure to pack food and drink if you plan on staying the couple of hours as there is nothing there anywhere in the gardens close by. Be sure to wear pants/shorts and runners.

(Translated by Google) Yesterday afternoon was the second visit to Seniman coffee studio, the first visit was quite memorable. So after yesterday's soft trekking from Jl. Kajeng, we stopped by here before going home. The service is friendly, the service is fast, the food and coffee are still delicious, but unfortunately when we were about to make a payment at the cashier (the cashier was a big woman), she preferred to be busy herself (like doing recap, because she seemed to count a number of notes) and let we stood waiting for minutes without at least saying "wait a minute yes". It's a small gesture, but in our opinion it is very important to pay attention, because this kind of impression creates a feeling of discomfort in customers.

go to this place if you want coffee, but nothing else. I arrived with an empty stomach and ordered some asian dish, am not impressed (not bad but so-so).as for the coffee, I got curious with coffee kombucha as I often brewed one myself at home too but I rarely saw it sold in a cafe. the coffee kombucha are nice, it has a nice aroma and round taste, not too sweet, not too sour. I also curious with some of the non-coffee lattes offered, so I ordered a turmeric latte and it was good! now I'm curious with other lattes too. I also bought a few coffee beans for home brewing.

Wonderful place! Artsy as its name.. Coffee tastes good (for non heavy coffee drinker / picky like me). Food: ordered dimsum, tastes so so. Available pretty spacey indoor, outdoor seata with electrical outlets access (working space friendly)

Delicious drinks especially their Kopi Susu. Cosy place as well for hanging out and having conversations with loved ones. I recommend visiting in the evenings as the cool weather of Ubud complements the atmosphere of the place as well. They also have a shop just across the cafe for their merchandise and coffee beans.

Been recommended by multiple friends to come here, and this place didnt disappoint me. Great food and coffee, many choices of bakery items. Good services. Even tho it’s a famous place, you can still find peace for the whole afternoon jz sit and watch the street.

Quaint cafe in Ubud with good coffee. They don’t have oat milk though, only soy or cashew. Food menu changes quite regularly so some of the recommendations from old reviews weren’t there when we visited. We had shashouska, avocado toast, dimsum and bubur kuning (chicken porridge). The dishes were mediocre… dumplings were actually bordering on bad. Wouldn’t order it again, bubur was decent though!

One of Bali's finest coffee roastery I've visited. It's located in Ubud, which is an hour away from Denpasar/Kuta/Seminyak/Canggu region, tucked in a small alleyway (still driveable with a car). To park here you need a bit of patience, since there's not much space for cars. Better yet, just take a walk or ride a motorcycle if you happen to stay in Ubud area. You'll be welcomed with a cool atmosphere and a homey feeling. Classic Balinese decorations dominate the place but not too traditional. It does not have AC but has overhead fan (as far as I know, maybe I missed a couple of details here) but the place is cool enough you won't feel burning inside. So I ordered the usual double espresso but no Iced Japanese, since it's substituted with their own Nitro coffee, which turned out to be amazing! They have their own tasing flight as well for the coffees so if caffeine isn't an issue for you before sleeping, consider ordering the tasting flight. Most of their glasses (for example, mineral water) come from recycled beer bottle or sparkling water bottle, which is one of their unique selling point. They also have pastries and cakes to try on, especially their cannéles, and also coffee beans to take home. Whenever you are in Ubud, please do come to this cool place!

Not a coffee lover, so I can not judge much. Order dumpling about 30 minutes to be ready, no sauce, the taste is okay not great. They forgot one of our coffee orders, but they serve it fast. The place is good, has cozy vibes, suitable for work and chilling.

Bukan penikmat kopi jadi I skip to describe how their coffee taste. Visit this place on weekend with my fellows, it is most likely visit by tourist. The place is huge, minum sama pastry-nya nothing special. The staff really friendly and kind.

Great coffee, nice place and really friendly service. We loved to be here and relax drinking a coffee o two. Just a really good and nice place. I can highly recommend the place. Due to gluten issues I do not know how the food is but the others around liked the bakery stuff really much.

We went for snack time and a drink for a short rest. We opted to sit in the air conditioner room. The olive fougasse was delicious. Great place for coffee. I like their hot chocolate! Will come back to try their dishes as it looks good on the menu.

Good place nice atmosphere fine coffee. I enjoy my time alone at the corner across barista bar. Food were ok but I’m not here for the food … After long and harsh pandemic time Ubud is getting back on food again, so this place. People fill up the space enjoying their coffee (well I know not all coffee ☺️) and foods. Try the manual brew medium roast beans 👍🏻

Came here with a friend to get a drink and relax. The vibe is really good with great music too. We had the masala latte which was absolutely delicious. Great little spot if you wanna grab a drink with somebody. Overall, I'm happy I stopped by here!

Enjoyed the coffee there very much during our stay in Ubud. Ambience, no doubt about it. I was super chill and enjoy even though the place was very crowded. Fantastic place! The coffee and food are absolutely excellent! RECOMMENDED!

This was one of the highlights of my stay in Ubud. I like tasting coffee. So, I tried a wide variety of Indonesian coffee beans. Chilled and relaxed in their rocking chairs. They have good internet and a good work environment. If you’re looking for a place to work, do definitely bring your laptop.

A perfect place to chill in Ubud! The coffee was good but the bagel was okay. Came here twice and the service was nice! Recommended to visit!

The coffee place I always go to when I'm in Ubud, but also because of the atmosphere, choice of food and snacks, friendliness of the waiters, affordable prices.

Comfortable place, very relaxing. Coffee tastes good, and I also like the tasty cookies that come along with the coffee. I think all coffee in bali has no aftertaste, which may be preferred by some people. Highlight: rocking chair

One of my favorite coffee shops in Ubud! They do an amazing pour over and have an excellent selection of different coffee. I had the coffee from Papúa, I liked it so much that I bought a bag to go I also had the Caesar salad, which was very fresh, and I will be back to order it again!

Good selection, good quolity. Nice vibe. Had to explain few times that I need my eggs freshly made in the Shakshuka. Overall they did well. It needed more spice. Chala bread was stale and was reheated with a toster.

Great place to taste quality local coffee. You can engage in a conversation at the bar with staff that are very friendly and happy to talk. The coffee is served in an unique way and you will most likely get invited to experience different types of blends while you chill at the bar. I tried the cheesecake also and it was great, I'm used to bigger portions but it was big enough though. Would recommend for coffee lovers!

My go-to coffee place in Bali. I love their coffee, their coffee beans, their grounded coffee, their coffee drips, their coffee-to-go, everything!!! I love the ambience and the atmosphere, I can spend hours just chilling here, drinking my coffee. TRY THEIR MILKY WAY (best served cold).

👍 Ordinary food in a spectacular location, in the middle of rice paddy. The crispy duck is really crispy, a bit too dry. The sate lilit is delicious. The gurami goreng bit bland / tasteless.
