Super impressive with the food quality here. It’s not only delicious but it’s well plating. I can say this is one of the best vegan restaurant in Ubud, even might be best of the best in Bali. They made sushi from the veggie which taste so good and nice looking. Their desert also nice and you always want more but I decide to try just one. This will be my first choice when I’m visit Ubud. They also sell some organic and vegan products in the store.

Great mocktails. All desserts look amazing but are all missing something. Nice place, but has a rich-hippie-expat vibe including toxic positivity between regular customers. The staff was kind. We did not try any savoury dishes, maybe those are better.

We had a great experience at Sayuri. We were very impressed by a large number of options. The food was excellent. We got the breakfast burrito and a peak performance bowl. Both dishes were so tasty. The setting is also accommodating. You can sit on the floor on cushions or at a table. We appreciate that you must take your shoes off before entering the place.

Great selection of vegan food. Almost too hard to choose just one option. Desserts are amazing, also hard to choose. Fresh, filling and wholesome meals. The triple berry cheesecake was sensational. Will definitely be heading back to try more of the menu and the desserts

It's a must visit for Vegan enthusiasts. The food is both a treat to eyes and taste buds! There are plenty of options for sweet and savory, though it was our regular stop for smoothie bowls all along our stay in Ubud (they all were yum & fresh but also good portion size!) It's definitely an inspiring Cafe in how they curate their dishes in a versatile way while also maximizing the goodness of ingredients added to it! Loved it!

The lasagna is a Sunday special and really delicious! Tried the “omelette” too, another pleasant surprise. The place is super chill and have different kinds of seating. Good to work, chill and meet up with friends.

Food: I only can speak for the smoothie bowls; I didn’t like. But it’s because I like it when the smoothie is thick and the granola crunchy, but both wasn’t the case. A thick smoothie bowl e.g. you can find in SUKA cafe (but if you like smoothie bowls to be liquid, you would like the bowl) The savory food at sayuri is amazing tho (Khidichi, pumpkin soup, Laksa bowl, the burgers); highly recommended ä Vibe: super nice and chilled vibe; definitely a good place to work all day Service: friendly staff, didn’t have to wait for long

Initially I was so excited to come to this place and try all of the delicious food. However the service ruined the experience for me. The first time with my partner the food took quite along time to arrive, I would say we were waiting for an 1 hour at least! We asked for a side of coconut milk with our tea twice and it never came. Second time was with 3 people, again the food took over an hour to come out including something as basic as chips and dip to get us started. On both occurrences the same woman on the counter had the worst attitude and made the experience even more unpleasant.

The food is delicious dont get me wrong and the staff are all very nice. But id like to highlight that the people that come here dont wear masks at all. I know its not the restaurant/ staff fault, but they should be more strict to their customers about following the health protocols. I was so shocked with their behaviours even i got scared (note: i am not crazy/ paranoid about covid). I cannot believe i was the ONLY ONE amongst the foreigners wearing a mask. Its such a shame. Would have given 5 stars for the food honestly. But we are at a pandemic state right now, people are afraid of covid, so pleasepleasplease enforce them health protocols! I suggest just order takeaway from here. Keep yourself healthy and away from some people

It's all about vegan food. Tried their Tonic Khichdi was awesome as it's my favourite dish. Ordered an ice cream scoop, it had a really rich taste. The price is affordable too. Huge cafe where you can find a comfortable place to sit. It might be crowded at a certain period. The atmosphere of the cafe is nice.

Best food in Ubud! Everything we tried tasted incredible; from smoothie bowls to burgers to cakes. Amazing juices, tonics and ceremonial cacao drinks. Everything healthy and vegan. Also a lot of RAW options. Good price for what you’re getting. We just kept coming back! We’re going to miss this place when leaving Ubud.

Delicious omellete! As a vegan who have tried finding the perfect omellete through my travels, sayuri has one of the best I've ever tried so far. Service was prompt, servers were friendly. Vibe, well too many digital nomads around. It could have been a great place to make friends with fellow travelers though. They have a set space for yoga and mindfulness.

First time I saw this place I walked in and out …I really didn’t think it was for me or I needed fancy vegan with such nice food everywhere. After a week of trying other places I returned…and well let’s just say it became one of my regular places. I fell in love with the ecstatic smoothie first, then went to the smoothie bowl version. I became addicted to the heart opening cacao at least 2-3 x a week. As for food, i saw the nourish bowl and had to try it. It’s wonderful. Also I am a fan of the soups and the half size options. The reason I’m writing on and on is because I feel this place really is a community that practices what it preaches, with not only nourishing food but nourishing events. And I will end by saying I was lucky to be there during the tasting at the end of the raw dessert course…and wow, all delicious.

Yes, its yummy and healthy and the sweets are very nice too. Price also perfect, BUT the service is very bad, very very bad. They have lots of waitress, but they dont care. You have to give them signs all the time, which is annoying and kind of boldfaced to have a included service charge, even there is no actual "service"

Well... this is definitely NOT a healing food Especially when I asked them to change it twice and I’ve got exactly the same spoiled tomato’s Likely we changed it to avocado in the end, but this is the only reason I’m leaving 2 starts instead of 1 Put your attention on the quality of the food that you provide ?? ✅but! Any kind of healing drinks is good and I’d recommend some chaga mushroom drinks

(Translated by Google) The place is very nice and comfortable to get together with friends. Apart from that the place is also clean. The waitresses are friendly. They have a different special menu every day. Suitable for western tongues. For my tongue the Indo special menu is suitable only rendang and there every Friday. But the drinks here are delicious. Tapi minuman disini enak.

(Translated by Google) The service is low. Menus are long, like food. The dishes, to put it mildly, are peculiar, you can hardly understand what is in your plate. The tastes are so mixed - salty, sweet, sour, bitter - it is extremely difficult to eat with pleasure. Coffee is very bad. It tastes like a medicine. But kombucha is cool. I put 2 stars for it.

Extremely "hippy" atmosphere with people laying on the floor, couples making out etc. If thats what makes you feel comfortable then go ahead. Not many positions on the menu not containing mushroom ( I'm intolerant) so we chose one without. It was very tasty but in the middle of the night I woke up with severe stomach ache, nausea and diarrhoea. Clearly it did contain mushroom without the menu mentioning it. NOT A HEALING FOOD. Mushroom in general is indigestible for humans due to being made of chitin like insects shells... No hospital ever would call mushroom a HEALING FOOD. We checked another establishment claiming to have "medicinal" food - guess what: everything on the menu contains mushroom ( even if the menu does not mention it!) It's easier to get a gluten free bread in a traditional bakery than food without mushroom in SAYURI

(Translated by Google) No service, no menu. You will learn everything from visitors. The place is untwisted and has lost its charm. I didn’t try food, I left after I turned to the waitress with the clarification of where the menu is and received an extremely sharp and dissatisfied answer. It may be tasty, but food prepared with such a mood can hardly be beneficial (Original)

The title says it all. Vegan or not vegan, the food here is absolutely amazing and wholesome. You don’t feel like there is anything missing. You don’t notice the lack of beef or chicken because the food is wholesome and delicious. The menu is so extensive and just a fun read. There is so much information about what goes into the food and how it is good for the mind and body. On TOP of their food menu, there is an extensive drinks, smoothies and dessert menu. Their day to day specials are enticing and make you want to return just to try how their jackfruit becomes the consistency of beef. All I can say is Ms Sayuri is a genius and I hope she will spread that love to the world!

it surprised me a lot to see they are not taking COVID seriously. NOBODY was wearing masks apart from myself - not even one staff and costumers either. No hand sanitizer available too. Food was also a bit disappointing...

I never knew raw-food can be both packed with nutrients AND tasted amazing. All their raw, no-baked desserts in the display are MUST TRY. I am truly impressed with the delicious taste of the main dishes as well, they were all very fulfilling. PS: Do try to stay for the live music at 7PM. I'm pretty sure their schedules are up on either Facebook or their official website.

Sayuri did an amazing job creating this gem of a restaurant. It is truly healing food and offers a unique combination of both cooked and raw organic vegan food. I love, that Sayuri takes care of her staff and uses the best ingredients. This is how prices are justified. Every day there is a special meal of the day. Opening ours are nightowl friendly, until 11pm! Had the best smoothie bowls and kitchari here, out of all places in Bali (& elsewhere) Now after having cleaned up the whole place, it is even better than before. Great place to connect with new people and/or get some work done.

Great vegan restaurant with a very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. They have an indoor and outdoor sitting area and also have many low tables where you can sit on the floor just on pillows, very comfortable. The food tastes amazing, they have so many options to choose from on the menu, and everything is 100% plant based. They also have many raw options and the items on the menu are clearly labeled what is raw and cooked. The most amazing thing is the dessert options. They have a whole fridge full of amazingly looking cakes, cookies, balls, and other sweets. They also sell a lot of different varieties of interesting looking drinks and self made aged vegan cashew cheeses. I can definitely highly recommend this place.

The Croque Monsieur and the Loco Micro had a rich and well coordinated flavour profiles, each having a few interesting textures. The desserts were creative and tasty too. Amazing vegan cream cheese cake! It was rich, perfectly smooth and creamy, slightly sweet but not overly, balanced with a bit of crunch from the granola base. Best vibe!! Excellent tea’s and refreshing tonics. The night we arrived, there was a live band playing. What started as a glimmering chill environment turned in a few hours into a glorious ecstatic dance party.

Overall a very hippie touristy place catered to, well, hippie tourists. Check the menu before you go. It's all vegan and most things are "raw" which is a big advertisement point in Ubud. We got the "big boy breaky" and the breakfast burrito. The food tastes fine, but it's not what we were looking for. The "egg" is made of mashed cashews, the spinach was not cooked, the "bacon" is a dried fruit, and all the items were cold (because everything is raw and not cooked). We were looking for warm cooked breakfast. Our fault for not looking at the menu in more detail. I would have appreciated more substance over aesthetics, for example would be nice if the eggs and bacon were made of something with protein (such as tofu and fake meat). The vibe is cool though, lots of foreigners working on their laptops, there was a Spanish class happening, lots of seating. They're smoothie bowls looked better so if I go back then I'd try those instead of a meal.

It’s that kinda Me Myself Important Yoga Man Bun health food places. I really like their salads. Free water. Lots of people on their laptops and phones. I had their key lime pie and it was great. I tend to enjoy the people watching. It’s soooo Ubud.

Nice cozy place. Love the vibe and the options. The only turn off is that guests must take the shoes off when the floor is actually not clean at all. People went barefoot to the tiled, stepped barefoot on the wet muddy walkway inside, which is like a mini garden inside the restaurant, and then walk back in.... It throws off my appetite just seeing that and thinking how much bacteria could be sticking to me bare feet there. Plus, the servers wear shoes o.O ..... It is a bit on a pricier end for the portions comparing to other Raw Vegan places in the area. But, it tastes good, service is nice and friendly and they have swings ♡♡♡

Good news! You don't have to be a yogi to enjoy this 'food for Yogi's'- inspired place! Sayuri is a real person with a huge passion for all things vegan, raw, healthy and, most importantly, freaking delicious. Do yourself a favor and come back here a few times to try as many options from the menu as possible. All the options, I am talking both: savoury and sweet. The background music will make you Shazam the hell out of your phone. And a bonus! If you enjoy cooking and want to learn how to make raw chocolate desserts, kimchi or vegan cheese - consider investing in one of the courses offered by this place. Look no further. Sayuri, namaste!

Very lovely place with amazing food. They have all kinds of healthy food, raw vegan and so on. Their vegan nut cheese is delicious. The place is very chill and invites to hang out for a long time. Some nights they have live music, kirtans and so on. They also offer cooking classes to share their amazing knowledge about preparing raw vegan delights.

The sweet treats here are mouth-wateringly unmissable, and the Tempe Burger to die for. After spending a month in Ubud - this restaurant was a go-to for great food and a top working atmosphere. The vibe and community this place brings, is credit to its vibrantly-positive and welcoming staff, and of course... The gorgeous yogi-proof and vegan delights! 🍰

disappointment & nothing special If you have higher demands, try another resto in Ubud - for the same or lower price you will find better ! For the first time we were here on a recommendation for breakfast.. We didn't like that food at all .. it very greasy and tasteless .. so we said ..it was just a bad choice..and tried it again a few days later for lunch. The burger with tempeh was good.. but The miso soup totally Not .. our money was thrown away ..😞 ... it almost didn't taste like miso . We can't eat that.. (Normally we love miso.. :(and we looked forward to miso ) and the bowl I ordered ? It was weak “medium” .. taste was saved only by good topping tahini sauce and cashews .. but overall nothing special.. 😞 for that price it really doesn't pay off .. average quality for high prices..

Heard great things from my expat friends about Sayuri. So today I came to visit since I was in Ubud. Ordered banana bread and dragon-fruity cake, I loved the cake but not so much the banana bread. I thought I was eating mud but either way the cake was superb.

We just had the dessert here and they were sooo well priced and delicious. The ice cream & cookie was arouns 55K with tax. Super yum. However none of the staff wore any masks which made my husband pretty upset.. Even though the place was super chill but the least the staff should’ve done was wear masks and follow the health protocols.

This place sees quiet popular, its the only place in ubud in Bali right now that will make you feel like your not the only foreigner in ubud. They have a range of snacks to try at different visits. But I'm close to sure everyone here is in a diff galaxy. The people that come to ubud from other countrys, you see them crying and hugging in public even growen men, not judging maybe I should try it one day. But I feel this is the place they come when they finish crying to eat and cowork.

EDIT: since January 1st no breakfast special price anymore (till 11am all food was 50k + 15% taxes) Now we find it a bit overpriced and don’t go anymore ☹️ 80k (69k +15%) for a smoothie bowl 😳 What can I say... its good 😀👍🏽 Usually going for breakfast. Smoothie bowl, vegan omelette. it’s expensive BUT quality is worth the price. They use high quality ingredients and the granola is also home made. Other places charge similar or less but you don’t get the quality. Size is also satisfying. And of course the privilege to be there among the enlightened Ubud community is priceless 🧘‍♀️ 😅

Simply too hot to be enjoying our time and meal here. Despite the small fans, the air felt so still. ‘Pizza’ came like open sandwich, but at least the taste was good. I would recommend Zucchini and coconut pad Thai!

Visited in mid Oct 2021. You can find one little pro-tip in the middle! A must-try raw vegan restaurant!!!!! Not only for the food but the experience there with the surroundings (esp if they have live music). Space inside is big. They have indoor and outdoor space. You may or may not wear footwear inside, they have provided shoes rack outside. Parking lot is small (I think this is pretty common in Bali in general). In terms of food, they offer many different interesting mix of veggies and non-meat food. I had Peak Performance Bowl. It is a rice bowl with mix of veggies, avocado, raw hummus, and sesame tempeh (THIS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!). It is not easy to find tasty raw vegan food, but this one is not a question at all! A bit pricey but the food is very filling and yummy, so okay. Oh also free water (not bottled water)! I also had Chocolate On The Rocks. And that is also a recommended drink from me. They put cacao nibs and cashew on top, use medicinal mushroom (Reishi and Chaga), and chili! Tastes a little sour but a different kind of sour from orange or lemon. More like a cacao and mushroom sour. This store also offers many different vegan snacks and drinks to bring home. One thing that lets me down a little, no staff was wearing a mask. No health and safety regulations at all. So in this pandemic situation, you better take a good care of yourself. Also some tourists are not vaccinated yet and 98% of their visitors are tourists.

If you like healthy cold food, this is the right place to eat. Has big place to chill or browse on your laptop. As I don’t like cold main food so its not my place. Ordered Pad Thai, served cold and the taste is just not my appetite but the drinks was nice. Had fresh coconut water in a bottle

My favorite place to hang out and eat delicious and amazing raw cakes. It feels like home to be here and to me, the best cafe in Ubud for healthy food. They also organize amazing events, my favorite is Kirtan with Jeremy & friends. And my favorite cake in the whole planet: life is a blessing!

It’s not bad. And it may be exactly what some people are looking for. I’m not vegan or vegetarian and I’m looking for healthy options. This is that. But I’m also looking for creative flavors that make me prefer vegan/veg food to non veg. I’ve found a lot of that in Ubud. This is where Sayuri falls short—for me. This place seems to cater to the raw vegan crowd, and that’s great. For me, this is a great place for a salad. But for a delicious vegetarian meal, I’ll probably go elsewhere. FYI: Recommend changing the name of the Reuben to Reubenesque.

Happy place of authentic goodness in Ubud - vegan restaurant cafe with super chill vibe, big spacious area where you can just grab a guitar and play, work or hang by the outdoor terrace area. I loved the feel, and the experience (if only I was dining with vegan too) - I had the bbq tempeh burger which was good, but not exactly a burger. It was also gluten free with a very impressive texture on the bun. They also have a healthy grocery store just like everyone here, the oils though and the sprays were quite good. They also sell their hard to find plant based ingredients. From looking at some flyers they have live music every night and offer classes too. Wish they just had the full menu everyday instead of waiting Thurs or Friday to try other dishes :) Recommended for: best vegan restaurants ubud bali, cozy cafe to work ubud bali, vegan grocery ubud bali

I ate at this raw vegan cafe a couple of times when I visited Ubud. The fried egg was v.realistic but I did not enjoy the mushroom sauce as it tasted quite garlicky. I had s snickers bar with ice cream for dessert which was delicious. Unfortunately, pancakes are no longer on their menu. There's entertainment most evenings at this cafe and v.good WI-FI.

I love that this restaurant is fully vegan and that they have a good mix of different foods on their menu. The atmosphere is also very chill here. The food was okay, still delicious but rather average and not that special while it’s pretty pricey for the amount you get.

The food is healthy and so so delicious here! Definitely a place to go visit if you are looking for healthy delicious vegan food and a place to hang out and chill. An awesome spot to hang out! They have free daily workshops or events (human design, language class, open mic etc). The pirate tonic tea and the mother goose tonic were both very unique and nice! You get a whole bottle and could share. The environment is cool and friendly, lots of additional space out back as well. Lots of people working on laptops They have some spiritual/wellness/eco products for sale as well

Great food and atmosphere! Cakes are delicious!!! Staff are super friendly but not very attentive, it’s quite a busy place but it seems like they don’t have set areas to look after so there isn’t anyone paying attention to the tables. Had to wait a while to get any service and keep waving. But i love the vibe, and the live music also!

My favourite restaurant in Bali so far. I love the “shoes “ concept so much. The options are so many and sounds all so yummy. I liked everything that I ordered. My most favourite was the teriyaki burger. You have a normal restaurant part in the front and the cozy spots in the back. Beside the food catering they have different activities for every day like salsa social or spanish class for free. Love it love it 🙏🏻

I don't think I even need to mention how delicious the food is... The main thing I want to mention is the atmosphere and the community of people inside. There is a warm atmosphere where everyone is very open and friendly. Live music and dance nights are amazing! It has become a place I visit every evening without getting bored…

  • 5/5 Cristea C. 5 months ago on Google
I give infinite stars to the vibe in here! We went to the open mic night and was absolutely soul healing. Not only the food can heal here but also the people singing and dancing, everyone was so happy, hugging each other and creating this beautiful space. The food also delicious, the tempeh burger has a one of a kind taste. I recommend walking Inside without shoes, it’s like entering with your soul open.

Vegan food with raw vegan options. This place has a calendar full of events; it gets busy at night. Ordered the croque monsieur and smoothie bowls. It was decent. Coffee was slightly below average, but our friends needed their caffeine. Some people brought their dogs and they roamed freely. They have a selection of vegan desserts and cakes on display too. At night we returned to participate in Kirtha for the first time, just to try it out. The chanting and singing was done in a room and was packed full. New people kept arriving throughout the session. Once is good.

Disappointed! Used to be one of my favourite vegan places in Ubud. Although the place looks the same, it becomes more commercial with overpriced merchandises lying on shelves. The place is still packed with ‘dressed up’ yoga goers and hippies. Food went downhill… All raw pasta dishes were unavailable. Gave Teriyaki Tempeh Burger with gluten free bread a go instead of spirulina sourdough bun. Two thin slices of ‘very salty’ dried tempeh, two thin slices of tomatoes, a big piece of lettuce, two long thin slices of pickled cucumbers, little pinch of vegan mayo. Two slices of quite dried gluten free bread. Plus a few pieces of sweet potato chips. That’s about it! Similar to no taste plain sandwich from convenient store. Totally overpriced RP 80K for what it was. Luckily I slipped drink. Definitely my last time at Sayuri!
