We tried pumpkin salad with feta, Jamaican chicken, chicken soup, spinach soup, grilled tuna, beetroot salad and a lot of different drinks. If you like pumpkin, try pumpkin salad, I’m obsessed! Chicken soup was tasty, spinach wasn’t as I like but it really warmed me up. For coffee lovers: try jasmine green tea matcha espresso… I know it has a lot of different things inside but it’s so worth trying! Overall, the food, service and ambient is great and relaxing. I hope we have a place like this where I live~

I went there three times for breakfast when I stayed in the area. The food was ok, I ordered smoothie bowls, not the best but it was fine. Coffee was good, but one time they gave me a wrong coffee (normal cow milk and I needed soy milk, lucky I only had a sip then they came back and said they gave me a wrong one). I had a slice of chocolate almond cake for 35.000 with salted caramel ice cream 25.000 and a Sour C juice 43.000 The total with tax and service charge was 120.000 While I'm not really a fan of the chocolate cake, orange and chocolate is not my vibe, I'm excited to come back and try other things on their menu. We had scramblled eggs and burrito breakfast. It takes forever for the breakfast to come to our table. The burrito was not as good as I expected. We do enjoyed the spinach scramblled eggs. We had fruit juice with pineapple and turmeric and kind of dissapointment with the juice due to too much flavor on turmeric. Overall it was ok experience to have western style breakfast but there are other places much better option for breakfast in Ubud.

Best experience in a Balinese restaurant I've had. Boy talk about deliciousness & service. I took the 9 course dinner which took me 3 hours to finish. This place deserves a Michelin star, very romantic and waiters know about the food, not to mention the impeccable service they provide. The sue chef came to my table to explain the first course, then the head chef also made a visit to make sure I'm satisfied. For my dessert the pastry chef also came by. Give it a try I'm sure you won't regret it.

So my experience here was wonderful! Now finding the place was a bit confusing. My airbnb is right by Ubud market. So it's a 20 min walk. I followed Google and got lots. Wish someone would of told me, you enter through the gates that starts "Blanco museum". We were about 10 mins late. But they still greeted us. Now this place is a bit pricey but not as much as what I would pay in the US for a 7 course meal but we where celebrating our 3 yr anniversary. As you wait for your table, they provide complimentary snacks and drinks. As we were seated, the staff and our waiter was so proper. The pushed in our chairs I we sat and got up each time to use the bathroom. The environment seemed so grown up even though my partner and I are only in our mid 30s. It was nice that we could joke around and crack a smile with our waiter. At the end, we were surprised with flowers and a cake for our anniversary.

It was a wonderful evening with my besties. I already in love with the place when we entered the bar area, it was beautifully decorated in Ubud old glamour style complimented with a very friendly welcome from the staff. We were served a welcome cocktail with a set of tasty snacks at the bar before we entered the dining area, they all come in a beautiful presentation. Once we seated in the dining area, we were welcomed with our first Par Mandif experience: "handwashing ritual" where the staff poured rose-infused water for us to wash our hand into a basin, it was fabulous! The delicious set dinner not only comes with a really beautiful presentation but also with a personal explanation from the staff. I was really impressed with how they managed to magically create a very authentic Indonesian dish with a contemporary approach. It is not easy to pick one favorite dish among the set, but the Chawanmushi and the crab salad was really memorable. As if the set was not enough to make our mouths happy, they wowed us with the dessert set, and again, we were really impressed with how authentic they are despite the creative contemporary presentation they make. We can really understand how each dish was made with extra attention to detail, such a wonderful experience!

From the first we entered the bar we know that this would be our special night. The ambience and the interior it's just perfect to start the dinner with best friends. The welcome drink and snacks they served in beautiful presentations and delicious. We started the dinner with "kobokan" ritual it's Indonesian tradition to washing hand before eating, but they presented in very beautiful way. Surprisingly even the food presented in very Western and fine dining way but I still could tasted the original Indonesian food that I'm familiar with. From the first meals until the last we got the good surprised from the taste and the presentation. It's just perfect for my special night with my best friends. Definitely will come back with my loved one.

Looking for the best fine dining in Bali? BLANCO par Mandif is definitely where you must go. Once you get in the beautifully carved wooden door, you will be in the Ruang Tamu Bar. Amazed by the interior, they serve the welcome drink continued by their signature snacks before you move to the restaurant. Friendly service personnel - ready to serve you in the restaurant. Sitting by the window where we can observe the beauty of Ubud especially the Tjampuhan area was mesmerizing - really. The hand washing ceremony remarked our fine dining experience. Sweet sour wrapped in delicate skin - Rujak was standout. Then, the chef's complimentary, Amuse Bouche - soupy smooth and rich followed by main courses and dessert, not only that the dishes taste good, the plating are also pretty. It was truly an amazing fine dining experience - they have successfully brought the authentic Indonesian dishes to the Michelin level.

Unbelievable experience dining at Blanco Par Mandif. Also - incredible value for money given what you get for it! The service is impeccable from the minute you walk in. The ambience of the bar area is awesome and the cocktails were divine. We chose to dine à la carte and the food was off the charts. I loved the special touches and additions from the chef. The special complimentary appetisers, the amuse bouche between courses and the special complimentary “cookies” to finish made an extraordinary meal more than we could have imagined. I loved all three dishes I ordered. I’ll be back in a heartbeat next time I’m in Ubud. Blanco Par Mandif deserves a Michelin Star! Fabulous!

Probably the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. The 9 course degustation comes with 3 surprise courses, come hungry and pace yourself

My fiancée and I had a pleasant 3.5 hour experience at BLANCO. We had the 9 course tasting menu without drink pairings. The bartender crafted some delicious non-alcoholic alternatives for our welcome drinks, which was much appreciated. One thing they really nailed was the little complimentary extras throughout the meal. The welcome drinks, the hors d'oeuvres (especially the pineapple ravioli), and the unexpected second dessert. The savory courses began with cold fish and shellfish, progressed to a warm lobster dish, and finished with duck and wagyu. The seafood dishes were quite good and beautifully presented. The duck was tender and perfectly crisped on the side. While we enjoyed every dish, nothing blew us away. The wagyu was particularly underwhelming. The meal would have been better without it. It was completely cold when it arrived, had no crust on the sear, and had a slight chewiness I’ve never experienced from wagyu before. The service was attentive and pleasant throughout our experience. It bordered on insecure at times. I can’t count how many times I gave an awakened thumbs up and praise for the food to the staff. When the price of a meal in Bali is close to what one would pay at a Michelin star restaurant in a major city, I expect an unforgettable experience. BLANCO fell slightly short but we’re glad we gave it a shot.

Treated myself to a decidedly upmarket dining experience while in Ubud and I was completely blown away by my experience at Blanco par Mandif. The dark and mysterious entrance pathway leads into a cosy, plush bar where I was promptly greeted and asked whether I’d like to enjoy a drink in the bar lounge first or be led into the ultra modern main dining room. I was peckish and ready to eat so off we went into the dining room where I was kindly seated on a comfortable sofa / recliner at a table with crisp white tablecloths. My both charming and handsome server promptly introduced himself and explained how the evening would work. I was to enjoy a delicious set-course meal that, in addition, featured various nibbles and pleasantly surprising treats. After the hand-washing ceremony and a friendly, knowledgeable mixologist prepared me a complimentary house cocktail, the food began arriving and it was so damn good! Such a variety and I loved how Balinese and Indonesian flavours and presentation were mixed in with various other international & modern presentation influences. The main course of aged roast duck was perfect *chef’s kiss*. It was soft, juicy, succulent and all those other borderline sexual words Nigella Lawson would describe such a decadent dish. The cassava flavoured dessert was not only stunningly beautiful but extremely moreish, and the accompanying snacks that came with my tea (of which 8 flavours are available for you to smell and choose from) were equally divine - and pleasantly varied. I strained my mind to think of any areas for improvement but I couldn’t think of any - it was a seamless well-paced evening with perfect dishes, faultless service and a relaxed ambience. I polished the evening off with a couple of unique, tasty cocktails in the comfortable bar and enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff while munching on the homemade potato chips before heading off. Thank you to everyone at Blanco par Mandif for a delightful, 5-star evening and for treating me so well. I won’t be surprised if the Michelin Guide is sniffing around your neighbourhood sometime soon!

Incredible food journey designed by the chef. Each of the 9 courses blew my mind, not only the food was delicious, the order was well executed. The 9 courses took 4 hours to finish. I was so full after and had to take away the petit four. The staff was nice and made you feel comfortable. The supervisor was nice enough to bring out the complimentary birthday cake with a candle and sang the birthday song for my fiancé. Definitely an experience for special occasions.

Amazing dinner!

Blanco par Mandif in Ubud was spectacular. Better than some of the 3 Michelin star restaurants we’ve been to in NY/Berlin. I love that their beverage pairing was a combination of wine and (mostly) cocktails because wine does not go with everything and the flavors in the cocktails really brought a new dimension of flavor to each dish. The dishes were 99% consistently spectacular. I could not choose a favorite. The balance in flavor and texture was there, there was always enough sauce on each plate (unlike some other places where there’s a minuscule dot of sauce that you can’t even taste but its listed like a main component on the menu). If you like seafood, definitely get the 9-course. I think the scallops and lobster were at the top of my favorites list. The 2 criticisms would be the spiced cake was a meh for me because it felt like a modern take on spiked cake where it’s no longer warm but a cold, mousse-like thing. The flavor was not as strong as one would expect from spiced cake. The cocktail paired with it was more flavorful. Could be a personal preference/expectation but desserts that are known for being warm are how I’d like to eat them. Removing that quality from the interpretation usually ruins it for me. And the wagyu beef was not the softest piece of wagyu we’ve had. Either it was slightly overcooked or just not the same quality of meat but the flavors and purées accompanying the beef were wonderful. Service staff was really great, very attentive to our needs and when the next course would arrive. Bravo Blanco!

Love the place. Amazing flavours and great service. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner. Choices of 7 or 9 courses degustation menu, or the a la carte... all perfect. Great cocktail list, not too bad wine selection (could improve a bit) but overall all is perfect. I cannot say it enough: we love this place :)

If you have a chance to stay in Ubud is a must to try. This place is the edge of the Indonesian culinary experience. Ask to the manager to drive you in this paradise of test for a memorable dinner.

The experience was overall positive nevertheless but compared to other restaurants like mozaic rather quite disappointing. I would not recommend. Some positives: food and presentation. food was overall good, some courses were great, ie Smokey duck and self made bread dips. The presentation was interesting , ie 2 chips on a tree was kind of impressive. Major criticism: process, taste, interior and professionally of the stuff. process took too long (4 hours for 7 courses) there was no real positive surprise in taste and the interior is looking quite unimpressive to say the least. The stuff was really trying to do their best and read our wishes from our faces, the problem was: we just count not understand anything. I mean: clearly people have some accent in different parts of the world and we are not English native speakers ourselves. Nevertheless here we just had no clue what the stuff was trying to tell us. In addition after realization of the first point, the stuff told us that there were problems in the kitchen. That is all. Not satisfying for us I am sorry.

It was such a great place for a romantic dinner. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service from the staff is two thumbs up from me. It was an excellent service that have given to us when i was have a dinner with my couple. I loved the duck. It was so crispy and tender. It was such an amazing experience have a dinner there. One of the most amazing experience that i have ever had in my life. I have certain allergies and they were able to adjust to their set menus. The food itself is fantastic especially the aging duck. The dessert presentation and idea was very impressive. No details missed here. A definite when in Ubud!

I really enjoyed the burger, perfectly cooked and the patty was very tasty. The Frappuccino was also great. The service was a bit slow and also not very attentive, we had to request multiple times and still things were missing.

Very nice coolers. Chilled atmosphere, it seems to be quite popular with digital nomads. Anytime I walk by it never seems to be full but never empty either. Their walnut carrot cake was to die for! Super fresh and moist and tasty! Jack fruit wrap was very aromatic ally spiced but once I adjusted my tastebuds, I enjoyed it.

Nice laid back cafe spot in Ubud. Also close to the Ubud Art Market (visit for quirky handcrafts). Tried the Mexican Wrap, Balinese coffee, Iced Mocha, The Good Digestion Bowl, and a Bubur Injin. All of these were tasty and portion size was adequate (about half of American portions). Definitely recommend :)

Drinks, foods, ambience, all so good ! I’ve been a returning customer here since so long. Every time we visited Ubud, we came here at least twice. And in our recent visit this late Feb, we came to Kafe five (5) times in our five days in Ubud. Not only the drinks, foods which are so healthy and tasty, we always felt so relaxed here. This is our main chill out place whenever we return to Ubud. Strongly recommended!

This cafe is categorised as health food but they do have vegan options. Came here for some coffee and was happy with my experience. This cafe has several floors with many seating options. The atmosphere and decor are relaxing and chill with a romantic feel. There are many seats and cushions to sit on if you’re not a fan of sitting in chairs. There are also many places to charge your phone. I had an oat latte and ice cream. It was delicious! They have milk substitutes such as oat milk and soy milk. You can get vegan desserts such as cake here. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Definitely come here to get away from the crowds and relax for awhile.

Had breakfast at KAFE in Ubud. They served European and Indonesian Fusion Breakfast. The place was kinda chill and rustic. Great place fo relax and pass the the time. Tried the Bubur Ingin ( Black Rice porridge), Bubur Ayam, American Breakfast and Mediterranean Omlette The taste for were kinda different but well done.

Loved the food and staff here. The menu has a great mix of Western and Indonesian food items as well as a bunch of drinks and pastries. I got the bubur ayam with a soft boiled egg and everything was made to perfection. My friends got the smashed avocado, rucola pesto toast, and vegan veggie bowl as well. All of them were great! The staff was the best part, being super accommodating to allergens and the weather. It was incredibly hot so they brought out a fan just for our table. Love this place and highly recommend to anyone looking for breakfast/brunch in Ubud!

A great place to work on your laptop, the WiFi is pretty strong. Plus, if you’ve been traveling for a while and miss raw vegetables this place washes theirs in filtered water so you don’t get sick. Yay for kale!! Plus they have pots of tea for a reasonable price. It can get busy though so if you have a lot of people you might not be able to grab a table.

We come here 1-2 times a day when in Ubud. The menu is exceptional, with amazingly prepared dishes. Arguably the best wholesome food experience in Ubud. Come for the menu, stay for the atmosphere and the very competent and friendly staff.

Nice and cosy environment, had breakfast here in the morning. Service staff is friendly too, helpful to the customers! Recommended food is the buckwheat pancake breakfast set! It's quite special and very worth it for the price as there are many pancakes stack on top of each other!

Love this place! While we were in Ubud, we came back 3 times as there are so many interesting and good options. Especially loved the kale salad and the aloe Vera soda is great. Will come back every time!

Delicious coffee and great food! We came here for brunch one day, ordered cappuccinos, red rice bubur ayam (a delicious rice and chicken noodle soup dish) and the 3-egg spinach mushroom omelette. So good we ordered dinner for delivery from them a few days later 😉
