The restaurant is very busy when we visited. It's because of the holiday season. We have to book for the restaurant 2 hours before we dined in. The hospitality of the waiter and waitress is at excellent point. Although they are very busy but they serve all the guests with their heart. The process of the cooking is a little bit slow as they are busy too. It took almost 1 hour for the steak to be ready to consume. The food is awesome though. Worth the wait. The steak is so tender and juicy. But it is a little bit pricey.

Our go to dinner place, if anyone ask our recommendations in Ubud, Batubara will always it. Love the ambience that is not pretentious, really feels the enjoyment when you enter, service has been consistent although last time we went we missed the man who always served us before! Really love the daily menu on the board just making it easier to make decisions! I don't really drink alcohol but when I do I choose their sangria Price is very reasonable with the quality and taste! So highly recommended!

Best dinner in Bali by far for us. Amazing meat, but great attention to detail all around. Must haves for us were the Grilled Octopus, which comes on a delicious bed of mashed potatoes, and the Indonesian Wagyu beef, simply exceptional. We appreciated the clarity of the menu with the government tax included in the prices. Last but really not least, service: Dana was simply awesome: professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, his service was able to top what had already been an amazing experience. Don’t miss it when in Bali.

Food was top-notch: had a ribeye with fries, salmon tartar and some croquetas. Everything was delicious. Our waitress Kadek was the best. Minus one, as we walked in, were told it was full... Then when asking if it was possible to wait at the bar, the staff eventually went in and found out several tables were available... Check first before saying the place is full 🤦‍♂️

You have to visit this place if you are in Ubud. We made a reservation for our anniversary dinner here. The staff set up a nice and private table for us away from the crowd. Beef tartare and grilled steak were delicious. Probably the best grilled steak I've had in a long time. Service was fine dining standard. Staff were super attentive and superb. Before ordering, staff laid out the different cuts of steaks before us and provided us with recommendations based on our preferences. Wine was properly priced. Ambience was great and unique. Will be back.

Steak house located in Ubud, Bali. I think it's easy to miss even though it's located in strategic area because it looks small from outside. But when you go inside, it's a quite big semi indoor area with 'wood' as their main theme/atmosphere. The service is great! The staff nicely explain everything to us. The meat is delicious, cooked as request, and worth the price. They also serve wine here. I suggest u to make a reservation before, because they always packed.

Great little steak spot. Trust your eye as to what meat looks best. Got the cheapest (flank I think) and most expensive steak (ribeye). cheapest one looked better and it was. Wonderful service so friendly and attentive. Excellent entrees

We come back to this lovely barbecue restaurant every time we are in UBUD. The service is very professional and the quality is original Argentinian style service. The meat cuts are delicious and the menu is quite varied with something for everyone. Wine pairings are solid. My comment is on the slight issue of portion size the sides could be a bit more generous, and this would go along way as the prices are steep for Bali although this is a meal that is memorable wherever you are in the world. The mixed vegetables platter could be better cooked and more generous.

Good ambiance, delicious food, and great service. Worth the money for such quality. I really like the flat iron wagyu, they put the meat on warm grill at the table, kept the meat warm and soft until the last bite (I’m a slow eater so that’s a nice idea!). The sangria also taste good. Definitely will come back!

Outstanding restaurant. Honestly the best steak I've ever had.... even compared to some of London's best steak places. Service, atmosphere, food, wine were all flawless. Just wow!!

The sirloin steak was good. It was made medium rare, which was perfect for me fortunately as they didn't ask. The vegetable were more stewed that roasted. The garlic just under cooked. The fried potatoes/ big chips were perfect and piping hot. The temperature being a big contrast to the steak as they came out at completely different times. The waiter was nice, he called me mate in a goodness gracious me kind of way after finding out I was English. Chips we're great, steak cold, veg under wilming. Ice tea was perfect. The place was busy there was a big social atmosphere.

Wonderful place serving quality cuts of beef from 3 different places. Had the flat iron, tenderloin, gambas and a couple of starters. Food is really good and the ambience of the place is really cosy.

This restaurant served excellent steaks. I believe this is the most expensive meal I ever had in Bali but I think its quite worth it. Ordered Gambas Al Ajillo (prawns cooked in garlic infused olive oil) and Pulpo Ala Brasa (Barbecue octopus with mashed potato) for starters. The Gambas is tasteless while the Octopus is cooked perfectly (not rubbery) with very nice smoky aroma. They served free fried perilla leaves as starters as well. This is delicious. Ordered 200g of Chuck eye, Flat Iron and Ribeye Wagyu. All cooked perfectly medium rare and come sliced for easy sharing. Really the highlight of the meal. Ribeye wagyu is nice and fatty and it cost 800k which is a steal. Similar steak would have cost us double the amount in Singapore. To be fair, we are perfectly happy with the Chuck eye and Flat iron. Also ordered the Salmon and its really good as well (no fishy smell). As side dish, we order the mash potato (delicious), french fries (smell weird, suspect its the oil they use to fry them), shared portion of barbecue vegetables (delicious with nice smoky aroma). Ordered Limon-Limon and Chocolate cake. Both are delicious. The service is excellent and we are well taken care of. Very nice ambiance with low lighting to create a romantic atmosphere. Our party of 5 were seated at the back, away from the crowd. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and would love to return.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The service was absolutely wonderful. They really couldn't do enough. From the complimentary starter to cooking the steak at your table was a lovely experience. The grilled vegetables were flavoursome, cooked to perfection and really complimented their signature steak. No meal so full of flavour woukd be complete without a dessert and the dulche de leche crepe topped this off nicely. The restrooms were one of the cleanest I've seen in Ubud.

Nice meal. The best seller beef sold out. So we order the 2nd best one. Salmon cook too well..the wine selection just so so..overall food still very good.

Excellent steakhouse with warm atmosphere and friendly service. Can't ask for more. This place is NOT budget but the experience you get is totally worth it. I went with a friend and he said this is the best meal he had in his whole life time. Go figure.

Not the best steak I ever had but the whole experience was amazing. I never had to chose a steak from a plank samples like that. Then you chose how big you want it. Then the cook/server comes and grill it to your liking right beside your table. Staff were very knowledgeable about everything they have on their menu. Super quick service. Perfect English speaking staff. And the entire meal was top notch. I had a 300g picanha medium rare with mash potatoes and red wine. They also served complimentary spinach entree. I will go there again

Good value and good dinning experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love how the slided beef will finish up the grill in front of your dining table - got that interactive experience which levels up the dining experience. Had a really nice meal with my partner. Highly recommend to couples and friends.

Impressed with the live cut selection. They actually shows you the difference cuts available for the day. Octopus on mash was awesome. Grill vegetables are good as well. Gambas was not bad. Just didn't really get the garlic flavor. Overall it was a great dining experience. I would recommend for a steak lover.

Seriously, one of the top 5 steaks I've ever had. Amazing to think I'd so enjoy a Spanish Steakhouse in Bali, but I did! The coffee wood they use smells so unique and delicious.

Had a wonderful experience celebrating my husband's birthday here. The service was excellent, and they even sang happy birthday. The unique dining experience involves selecting your choice of meat to be cooked at your table. The ambiance is cozy, especially in the evening, though parking can be challenging due to the location on a street bend. Overall, a delightful celebration with great food and attentive service.

So satisfied with our dinner here! We were in Ubud for a day and had no clue where to eat - we just know we want steaks. This place isn't on the Google top list for no reason. Their menu is well-crafted.. it changes every day depending on the available meat cuts they have that day. Their servers are very professional (and politely informed us that the mains will be served only after we finish our starters, lol). We ordered flap jack and flat iron, medium rare. The taste was just amazing - the herbs were not overpowering the protein. This place have no tissue on their toilet wash stand. Instead, they use towels (I was in shock a bit). We want to come back!

Amazing place. Halal wagyu. The vibe inside is really nice. The steak was to die for. They cook it right at your table side. Service was impeccable. Would come back again anytime. It is recommended to have a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in as a walk in. We had the Rib-eye and the Wagyu 300g and both were so full of flavor. I will say, their definition of medium is what we call medium rare in the US, so I did have them cook it just a bit more, which was was since the portable grill was right there.

Had two different beef steaks, both excellent. Service on top! Sangria deeeelicious, one of the best I've ever had. Grilled squid for starter, amazing. Everything were five stars except the pancake for dessert, in the menu it didn't say anything about banana ice cream... Would've asked for vanilla if I knew.

Food and services are good! Waitresses were able to explain the menu very well in perfect english. It was my birthday and my husband had instructed them to prepare a slice of cake. They even went extra mile to sang a birthday song for me. Everything was great, highly recommended!

If you appreciate good meat, this is your place. The environment is amazing and the service is super good! They also have sea food and vegetarian options. As South American I was super happy with the wine menu, the quality of the meat and the appetizers. We had a great time, not forgetting the Dulce the leche crepe to close the evening. We strongly recommend this place in Ubud.

We had found this place on Google and turned up to find you needed to make a reservation but thankfully and lucky for us we got straight in. Was a little tricky to find but keep your eye out for the Batubara parking sign and look left. The gentleman who showed us to our table was from Barcelona our favourite city and was very friendly and accommodating. We were blown away, the presentation of food shown to us was top class. The meat which was cooked in front of us was truly sensational along with the chimchurri that came along with it. I am not a big drinker but I do like a glass of white with the meal and asked him to select for me, excellent choice! I can honestly say this was amazing and so glad we managed to get in. Would 100% book in advance to not miss out on this experience.

If you feel like a good steak, this is the place to go. Service is super friendly, food is incredible and will leave you wanting more. We had 2 appetizers, 2 steaks, 2 deserts and 6 drinks + big bottle of water in total and paid 1,8 mil RPD. We loved every bite and would definitely recommend.

Great place to have a awsome evening. Staff doing their best to make your evening perfect. Meat board to help you make you choice and select the wine to combine. Not cheap but the quality is worth every roepia. Our waiter quality was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ interested and also a fisherman. So we’re friends now :)

The food was amazing! We had the flat iron (pictured) and Denver steak with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. For starter we had octopus. Staff/service was also incredible.
